When I subscribed for the free premium time, the button changed to say "activate premium time now". Is this referring to the free 7 days or is it a 30 day chunk? Or worse, some idiot programmed it to activate all banked days + 7?
Well versed in the most ancient of Oldmanese terms, I see.
The stormcrow is fun. A lot you can do with it. To me lights are the most fun but it's all about what you like.

Cents are terrible and pretty guaranteed to not survive any battle
They have great torso twist, a decent amount of hardpoints, and the ability to shield arm on that left side. It's a great mech to learn how to spread damage in, and can work with a variety of loadouts from close to long range and everything in between.
no it's not the most meta thing, but it's a good training, or all around mech.
No it's pretty accurate. Yeah you can use it to learn to use the left arm as a blocker but you'll want to ditch that thing as soon as possible. No matter what you plan to run in it there are other IS mechs that can do it better. Expect possibly pure brawler on the AH. Even that is debatable.
There's two variants with specific builds that sort of work for the Centurion and that's the YLW with AC20 2xML and AL with stuff like 3xLPL.
Every other build ranges from mediocre to absolutely terrible. That includes the ASRM18 build due to being huge, squishy and short ranged. Or maybe I should go back to the Mechwarrior Academy and contemplate upon the fundamentals of torso twisting.
>Put a Gauss rifle on my Kit fox just for the hell of it to mimic a Tabletop A Configuration
>Actually kind of effective
I know a Shadow Cat does the same thing and there's probably better mechs to do it on, but it's fun.
>Kill 3 lights and a LRM Stalker with precision strikes with my Stormcrow

Big things in 2016. Just you wait for CW phase #3 to revive interest in the game.
My 2 cents says the best way the devs could keep this game going as a money bag for them is implement the single player campaigns with option for co-op. Like, up to 12 man co-op. Big long multi map campaigns.
And you could earn exp and c-bills for use in normal multiplayer this way too (perhaps less or more then standard play)
The revenue steam could come from "expansion packs" or whatever they wana call it. You buy new campaign packs when they come out, and say after 6 months or a year they're free to buy with cbills or plain free.
Something like that would keep plenty of people happy for years.
>my 2 cents says the best way the devs could keep this game running is for them to put some actual work into the game besides adding 1 "new" mech every 3 to the game.
Yeah, no, good luck with that-
I know man, It's insane that no-one in that entire company has a brain.
But I like to dream a little.
What do ballistics bring to the table anyways? As someone using a ballistics oriented mech, I always feel kinda cvcked when I watch the strobe shows that extend half the map and meanwhile I have to slide into brawling range to use my ballistics.
Instant, pinpoint damage. Provided that you're using IS ones. Usually little to no heat. In TT you had alternate ammo types.
That's about it. Some ballistics can have good DPS with cooldown QWIRKS, too.
Depends on what robot you're playing and shooting at with what ballistic. Your mounts, velocity + velocity quirks, etc.
Robots are really slow overall, leading targets is not hard.
I don't think any other mechs has shotgun vomit quirks like the CN9-D. It's fun for bullying lights and obliterating criticals (1dmg per pellet doesn't matter if you smash them with 50+), but you do have serious ammo problems.
>Spot an enemy King Crab all alone, firing it's guns at something in the distance
>sneak up on it and hit it with a flamer
>it shuts down
>keep hitting it with the flamer at intervals
>he eventually overrides
>kite him, smacking him with the flamer
>his mech cooks out and dies
Just like its namesake.
>he thinks the devs actually care what we think
Here's how the PGI branded flamer actually works.
They only do anything if the target hits override.
no, the heat it generates (and transmits) depends on the current heat level
so the most effective way to use them is if you have a super heat neutral build, and just keep your heat at 80% the whole match.
since you only give 1/3 the heat away compared to yourself, you are relying on the fact the enemy has to be at least 3 times as hot as you...
the kevin bot doesn't work with ui 2.0, so you'll have to make a new one.
second problem is that you make jack shit from botting that way
third problem is that you are highly likely to get reported
>game crashes on me
>goes to play Sam and Max instead
>having the best time of my life
Why did I ever play MWO
This message brought to you by Kakos "Kaelus" Kolos
I thought it'd be too risky on a medium that might be close up. How about this one I saw last thread?
Yeah, that'd work.
I actually mastered mine with small pulse lasers, and to do it used FF instead of Endo.
I remember this being the oddest hunchie to approach, and yet probably one of the most fun to play.
Give 'em hell.
>wanting autistic valley over Forest colony or River city

Was some Dio shit, let me tell you.
>fire 800 bullets from bozar.

I might try it anyway family, thanks for the response. Considering i act like a complete fucking sperg, use a wide range of homophobic slurs and am consistently as abusive as humanly possible through a chat as i can possibly be, i have not ever recieved any sort of disciplinary action in the game. You do realize that getting lurmed to death that easily is basically saying "I'm tier 5 and belong there", right?
Seriously. And I'm a missile-lobber lover.
You see "incoming"?
Go to cover.
You're too slow to get there before the spread damage actually kills you?
You've made a critical mistake in going into some huge-ass open spot with zero cover and no speed.
Seriously, I can put a few 100 missiles into a target. Unless it's wounded, it won't go down, especially if it's moving.

Mastering the Shadow Hawk was pure suffering. The 2H I kept and eventually stole a max dps crit vomit build and used to great effect, but the other variant I picked up was a 5M because it was on sale and I was so space poor I basically ran it stock. Never. Again.
Hunchie on the other hand was okay-ish, the 4J and 4P are minimally viable.
conglaturations, you reached a new level of autism and faggotry this world has never known

In other news, having maximum veto power enables me to cuck anyone out of their vote by simply taking my vote off at the last second. This pretty much always guarantees that whatever I had my original vote as will not be voted on.
Super useful for terrible maps like forest colony and tourmaline
>As to the Catapult - being one of the original 4 mechs - it's getting completely remodeled

>TFW Iratus Felidae will always be legos.

So, where do I get the aimbots for this game?
So what's the most satisfying light? I just did up close H&R with the trial Raven, so I switched over to the Arctic Cheetah, much nicer although it ran a little hot for my tastes.
What should I buy in terms of an actual light mech? Close range, high alpha harassment, get out when they finally see me. If I stop, I'm dead.
>actually trying and getting x12 for both
Damn, I'm going to spend more converting the Firestarter to DBL HS, Ferro and Endo than the chassis cost.
Also what the fuck is this stock armament, why are there like 6 flamers. Who thought that was a good idea?
I mean I understand it as far as TT/"real" life but as far as I'm aware, flamers are absolute fucking dogshit in this game so it makes you wonder why they'd actually stick six on there.
"Here have an unplayable stock mech, enjoy the LORE."
That's what the stock H variant comes with in MWO you shitter.
Mass 35 tons
Engine GM 210
2x Medium Lasers
2x Machine Guns
Stop being retarded pls
>looking at things I can never have
I really wish there was more c-bill paint or that you could just go full retard and buy one-time paints like with patterns.
>pointing out sily design
>in a land of Cicadas, Ice ferrets, spurdomech etc
I wanted an MG boat so I made one. Armor distribution might not be optimal and I'm not sure if BIG DICK ENGINE is the best either but it looks like it'd work for shits and giggles. I tried the armament+heatsinks in the heat sim and it did 280 damage (14DPS) in 18 seconds before it overheated. I do welcome any improvements, the only core part is the 6MGs.
Why do you want a machinegun boat, son? Are you trying to make your team hate you that little bit extra?
Why not swap the SRMs for lurms while you're at it?
>swap the SRMs for LRMs
No you don't understand, I fully expect this build to be combat viable. I fully expect to waltz my 58KM/H King Crab right into someones face (blasting them with LPLs as I close the gap) before smashing them to pieces with SRMs and MGs.
>first game after months of not playing
>some scrublord spams chat with his leadership
>starts calling people fucking 'uber welps'
>team does exactly what he says
is welp some new mwo meme name or was it just this guy
looks like PGI is selling assets to keep MWO afloat
Also what does "std laser duration" mean? Non-ER? Non-pulse?
Looking for another mech to use, but I haven't been able to find one that fits my criteria:
Preferably ballistics and energy (or just energy). I dislike missiles
I use an ENF-4R at the moment and was thinking of getting a GHR-5N
I'm too stupid to factor the actual mech costs into the equation, but smurfy runs my King Crab build at 14 mil C-bill and my Firestarter build at 9 mil C-bill.
Meanwhile a Kit Fox build I looked at was only 7.5 mil C-bill and supposedly the Kit Fox is an expensive clan mech.
So yeah, Firestarter is expensive.
It's my fault for picking a build that calls for a 295XL
I my humble opinion
dire wolf, stalker, king crab
battlemaster, banshee, atlas
Four mil difference to outfit a 100 ton mech. That's 65 tons more. It's easily the most expensive light mech in the game, which is what matters. No point in comparing an orange to a watermelon.
"...and how many new guns need to be bought?"
Mechs that have a lot of hardpoints can quickly rack up costs when outfitting new loadouts and revisions.
I made the mistake of spending too much on my shiny new dakkawoof so I don't think I can make up the difference to buy a third before the sale ends. That's a lot of potential millions lost due to badly paced spending.
Might just barely be able to make it up with my money-bonus mechs though. Marauder always performed the best for me.
Russ confirms that MWO has NEVER been this popular ever before, for any reason, even back during the golden age of original launch.
>two launches, one failed space game.
>finally manages to outdo 2013 numbers.
Spot on perfect.
well if it helps I prefer ballistics over energy. No idea why, just always preferred the feel of sending a shell down range at the enemy. I'll obviously use whatever is best for a brawler setup though.
Don't matter that much since you need to get all three available king crabs anyway and they're fairly close to each other. If you wan't to dual ac20 brawl then the 000 has beter quirks. If you wanna be more like an atlas and mix ac20 with surms then the 000b has more missile hardpoints. But the atlas is the premier ac20+surms assault robot anyway so I would prefer the dual ac20s on the crab. It's made for that.
Because it can't boat SRMs like god intended for Atlas mechs.
I originally liked the idea of AC20+6MLAS, but its just too fucking hot and comes with all the usual disadvantages of being in an Atlas.
So I'm trying to figure up the theoretical DPS for the UAC-20 when you're firing at maximum fire rate including jams. Mainly to see if I should be using it or an LBX-AC20 on a Brawling Executioner.
Last game I died because it jammed so it's making me question it.
>in king crab
>just killed enemy king crab
>2 team mates suddenly alpha strike me and core me
>"oh shit, though you were the enemy crab"
Worst I've done was in my light mech, I was paranoid as fuck from running and I blasted a friendly medium mech in the CT as he came around a corner. Luckily I was using lasers so I only did about half of my small salvo of lasers before I realized he was friendly and flicked my beams off of him. Still felt like an ass even though I probably only took like 4-6 armor off his CT, if that. At least he wasn't angry about it.
>someone insults SC around Kaelus and the Kaelus crew.webm
come on guys we all know StarCitizen is a legit game and Elite Dangerous is the Tech Demo.
The Catapult has the most fucking retarded missile tubes in the game. It gets these huge VCR looking boxes added on when you add more missiles.
What makes it even more retarded is that other mechs get super compact LRM launchers that can fit dozens and dozens of LRMs into a small space, while Catapult gets retard hueg boxes.
Aight guys, im about to buy muh first tire poof while it's on sale.
Should I go with the DWF-S for the CT jumpjet or DWF-W for the two CT energy hardpoints?
You know shit's bad when official NGNG material mocks it.
ARE YOU FEELING IT NOW MR KRABS?!
Yes. You need four mechs. And if you are in an Innersphere faction, you can only use IS mechs, and if youa re in a clan faction you can only use clan mechs.
Also, if you arent in a premade group of at least 4+ people, you are going to get shitstomped by enemy premade teams, since they play alot of CW matches and theres no rules about team sizes and premades in CW.
Is there a maximum tonnage to what you're allowed to bring? I only actually know how to use Assault mechs. Or am I going to have to learn how to use different mechs to be any way decent at CW.
LRMs become less effective as your opponents get more experienced, as they rely on your opponents making errors and getting punished for them. Fewer errors = less chances to hit.
That being said, if your team can force those mistakes or you can maneuver yourself to do the same, LRMs can be modestly effective. Generally direct-fire will trump them, however.
The classic one that isn't fuck-all nuts is the 6MG+2 LPL Jagermech. That at least will have enough speed to come to grips with opponents. Still, your MG bullet hell will only matter if there's exposed components, as armor will make your barrage nearly worthless.
>pugging on Caustic
>launch an LRM salvo for lulz at extreme range
>lock holds the entire way for a 900m shot
>friendly light decides to death hug target
>"Why the fuck did you aim at me?"
>team laughs at him for eating LRM 60 butt blast
>kill enemy team 12-1
Never feel bad about people dumb enough to cross your line of fire. The damage is their stupidity tax.
Yes, you're gonna need to learn- as CW's current tonnage limit is 265. You -can- use trials to fill in for 'Mechs you don't have otherwise, though. That being said, you really should bring your A-game to CW. It's not matchmakered, strongly favors groups/unit play, and those units frequently will not fuck around and gleefully laser the shit out of you while you plod along in your assaults.
Whatever faction you're in, find out if they have a faction TeamSpeak. Use it. No exceptions. Solo PUGs in CW (or worse, an entire group of them) are target practice without co-ordination. You don't have to join a unit, just get on their VOIP of choice, listen, work with the group. Or you're basically useless.
The nice thing is some of the CW rewards include Mechbays. And they're honestly the best use of MC as well.
>had someone whinge at me for saying 'Fuck' specifically in "Why the fuck aren't you checking your minimap/flanks?" in response to said tardwaffle getting very visibly pummeled from one side.
What >>128212589 said. They'll be far from optimal, and in many cases your scrub ass will be more of a detriment to your own team than anything else in them.
Either way, if you have to use them, here's what you SHOULD use:
>Clan side trials to use
Arctic Cheetah (C), Timber wolf (C), Stormcrow (C), Dire wolf (C)
If you own clan mechs, you can swap the Dire wolf out for another heavy, like the Mad Dog, Hellbringer or Ebon Jaguar.
>Clan side trials NOT to use. NEVER. EVER.
Ebon jaguar trial, executioner trial, shadowcat trial, adder trial
Ebon jag trial is an LRM boat that has no close combat capability to speak of, and scrubs suck at efficiently using LRMS. Don't fucking do it, or I will personally shoot your mech to slag if I see you. Executioner is a brawling/ corner peeking mech that lacks an effective or heat efficient build. Adder prime is kinda okay sniper, but PPCs just suck, and you're a fucking Adder. You are slow as a glacier, and get wasted the moment someone looks at you. Shadowcat prime lacks the quintessential ECM to survive and provide some form of support for your team. Also has only 2 tons of ammo for the gauss rifle, which makes your effectiveness in CW completely nonexistent.
To be cont. in next post ->
Cont. from >>128215671
>Inner Sphere side trials to use
Raven (C), Enforcer (C), Hunchback (C), Thunderbolt (C), King Crab (C)
You can substitute the medium and assault options for more heavy mechs should you choose to do so. It's advised to have at least one ECM capable mech in your deck.
>Inner Sphere side trials you should reconsider picking
Catapult (C), Jenner (C), Atlas (C)
Catapult is an LRM/ SRM boat with too little ammo to be effective, and it's XL engine means you will get wasted REALLY quickly by anyone what knows what the crosshair is for. Jenner is a light that excels at hit-and-run skirmishing, running circles around enemies to circumvent it's fragility. CW maps do NOT offer this possibility, don't bring it unless you're suicidal. Atlas is an okay defensive mech, but it's effectiveness is limited to less within 270 meters, and it's slow. You're a great big "I'm a humongous faggot please rape my face" target for anyone, and scrubs don't know how to torso twist or position themselves for a protracted brawl. A King Crab is survivable enough and provides considerably longer range firepower with which to add to your more competent teammates.
It's fragile, more so than the inner sphere orion before the quirkening, but thanks to clan weight saving techniques you'll be able to stock up on heavy weapons and still move at top speed for the chassis. (77kph with XL360, 83 with speed tweak)
If you can get within 270 meters without taking a lot of fire (ie before your armour turns orange) you'll be able to kill enemies in one or two volleys from your combined SRM batteries and ballistic of choice.
I personally run them with LBX20's or UAC20's, and SRM6's. Each and every variant has an alpha above 70, and at the missiles effective range you're doing just that. Alpha striking someone from behind instantly kills them.
here again. I went ahead and got the king crab 000, but looking at two builds has be confused. There's the dual ac/20 build and quad uac/5 build (but I would use regular ac/5 because fuck that jamming chance) which would be better for brawling?
This is purely my opinion, but I think you would get better results with the ac 5 build. You'll be able to keep constant fire on the enemy and if you're any good you'll do no less than 400 damage per game.
you must have been dual targeted. all hacks in MWO are limited to either god vision or aimbotting. all projectile physics and damage calculations are server side, so there is no way a client can do more damage than their robot is capable of
>all projectile physics and damage calculations are server side
I was accused of cheating on the first day I played because I was able to hit an atlas in the eye with an extremely lucky shot. I didn't even know the weak points at the time either.
It's pretty sketchy sometimes.
There was this one time where I dropped against lords before the split and I got double gaussed in my head on my Atlas at least 500+ meters out before the battle was joined, I couldn't even see where it came from.
How about a sniperlight blocking teammates?
Shoot light mech with a ac20 because it was moving in front of you
Get called out for shooting teammates and being caught on stream and brother works for PGI
>hurr what am red blip on minimap? Oh is that a king crab with UAC's harassing my teammate to death? Well better ignore it and keep staring down my zoom, OH NO, I'M GETTING SHOT IN THE ASS WHUAAAAATTTTTT???????
If they're in range you will get a little X icon on the top right of your screen.
Build? Cant say anything until we know what you're doing and on what mech. Bap is usually best situationally for lrms or streak boats. Otherwise it's usually wasted tonnage
I'm not sure what to do with the other couple of tons, but I dropped a Med pulse for a Large Pulse so you can poke stuff when you're not brawling. The King Crab has really nice laser mounts so you can really do a lot of poking where you only expose up to your cockpit so you can see.
why are all clam assaults so fucking shit?
>memecutioner=lmao12 tons of JJ and MASC
>whale=cant torso twist, low swung shitty arms, slow as a slug, massive ct
the only clam assault i ever managed to have fun with is the warhawk
i fucking want the Blood Asp already
fuck the Kodiak meme robot for roleplayers
Honestly, running mixed ACs with such a disparity in range and RoF is not really ideal. If you are going AC5s go for 4 of them. If you want some laser range, use large pulse lasers. Normal ppcs for slower mechs are not great because you will get fucked when someone gets within 90m. Also you will be painfully slow.
As an idea of the shenanigans you can get up to with a KGC, have this http://mwo.smurfy-net.de/mechlab#i=240&l=e82bd82bd34bcaaa531d5dc090b4e5ac04bce969
As far as first assaults go, the kingest of crabs is actually a really good choice because of how versatile they are and have ridiculous turning quirks.
Youre goddamn right it looks cool
I've never been a fan of mixing ACs, but I guess it could work. A bit too cool for my memes.
Also AC20 and PPC are different ranges so you're meming yourself a bit.
>single regular PPC.
>max limb armor 100 tonner.
>shit engine size that makes absolutely no sense.
2/10, nice tabletop build, senpai.
Try running triple larges, AC40, and a 300 standard.
I started building that, but realized two things:
Worst case scenario you lose 240 rounds of AC ammo. You already should have been engaged for a good amount of time, and the leg ammo should be more than enough for just 2 left over ACs.
Second thing is that case does NOT prevent ammo explosions, but the damage spreading. So having ammo in both torsos means you pretty much will lose either torso the moment they are open. One vulnerable torso is better than two imhotbhf
That is a very fair point. I feel like I have seen ammo do really bizarre shit where I still had access to it even after torso destruction but maybe I was just really fuckin drunk, dunno. CASE II WHEN?
Also those high scores, kek
>old fucking man gets mad about someone shit-talking
>call him out on it
>he starts saying shit like "You're not getting away with bullying while I'm here"
>give him the ol' "Real tough over the internet buddy"
>he starts ranting in all chat about meeting up
Fucking golden. Absolutely fucking beautiful. He tried to TK some guys too and after he legged our light I just sunk a fucking AC/20 into him and put him out of his misery.
rather than looking up damage profiles online I figure I'll ask people that have actual play experience: What are the pros/cons for doing either a dual ac/20 or quad ac/5 build for a KC-000?
Old people dont know how to handle the internet m80. Theres like an inverse bell curve of absolute butt devastation that correlates with age. Too young and you havent yet built up a tolerance to bantz and bullshit and if youre an old fuck its too late to do so.
Dual ac20 is pinpoint fuck your shit damage at sub 300m. But you gonna regret that spooky heat and the refire rate is kinda ass. Quad ac5 is easy on heat and its a long range ac20 that fires twice as fast.
Whats better will wholly fall to your preferred play style. Want to brawl? ac40 is your friend, just stagger fire them .5 seconds to avoid ghost heat. This also lets you have a better torso twist/vs damage output.
quad ac5 is more forgiving because you do not have to commit as hard as ac40. Once you get stuck in a brawl, you cant get out, but if youre blasting fuckers at 400m, you can maneuver to be not completely caught out of position, especially with the KGC favorible torso twist.
Quad ac/5 is very solid all around. It's not hot, has good range, and with decent bullet velocity lets you land shots more or less where you want them. It will also take a bit more tonnage than the dual 20s and unfortunately you are forced to either face someone or to twist because your refire rate is pretty low.
Dual ac/20 is much more focused and has lots more positives and negatives. You're incredibly short ranged. Heat is an issue, and ghostheat is another issue. Due to your wide set arms and slow projectiles landing both shots will be hard against any fast moving target so you will rarely shoot both at once anyway.
It will definitely scare people though, and is pretty easy to get kills if you survive past the halfway point of the match since so much damage is front loaded and you can easily finish off weakpoints.
The long refire rate means you'll have plenty of time to properly spread damage.
>stop asking to be spoonfed
How am I asking to be spoon fed? I did the smart thing and went to people playing the game at this exact moment with better input and more insight into load outs than a spreadsheet from september of last year.
If you use the lasers as an afterthought, theyre not too bad, but if you decide to go alpha, that heat is gonna add up. The srms are yet another system to hog ammo. I am guessing you are running out of space so you cant have a pair of med las and 2 more dhs? What engine are you running?
Right now a 300, but I can fit a 325 as my max. Here's my load out so far.
>complains that someone wants to better their knowledge of the game
fuck me, right?
>doing my good 4 digit damage in my KGC
>get the round winning kill by dropping down behind a Jenner and blasting his unsuspecting ass in the back
>ShadowPlay isn't saving the footage
Good. Drop a few points from your face/arms/legs to get an extra dhs in your engine. KGC are short but as wide as a fuckin barn, so being able to twist faster will benefit you greatly. Also the better max speed is nice so you can actually maneuver into position where your ac40s can do their damn job.
Waste of tonnage. Provides no protection. Doesn't even save you from ammunition cook-offs either, you'll still lose that torso and everything in it. Which, for these shitty King Crab builds I'm seeing in this thread would mean the end of your ammunition completely.
It's better to just spread your ammo out between head, legs, and torsos.
On clan mechs it really doesn't matter, hell you can, and it's often done, that most of it is stored in the arms.
He's just butthurt. /gerg/ has always been the best source of robot information and protips.
In general, if you have questions, it's better and quicker to get on mumble and play some games with whatever ancient veterans are lurking there than making posts.
Even if there's no one online, just post that you want to play and someone will doubtlessly login and do an hour or two of group drops.
>ammunition cook-offs either
Neither does clan case, granted it's free.
>spread your ammo out between head, legs, and torsos
If you actually looked at the builds, you would see that this is impossible.
Just make sure you don't ask if anyone is playing when Kakos Kaelus Karlos Kuckos is on. He will steal your personal information.
Stop fucking walking in front of me. Stop it. I'm so fucking sick of these mongoloid shitheads walking directly in front of me and standing there fucking clueless. Blasted a Timberwolf in the back for the full duration of 3 LPLs at about 50M because he walked in between me and a Stormcrow. Wish it would have killed him honestly.
He didn't get the kill, I killed the fucking Stormcrow about 30 seconds later. He basically just kept it alive longer. Had an Atlas dog me the first four-five minutes of the eight minute match too, I could not get him out from in front of me until I finally broke off from every other person on my team and he fucked off to the other side of the map.
Kong has existed since late 2011. The only rule is 'don't be a faggot.'
It's not your typical 4chan guild, but more of an oldschool one. We play a fuckton of games, and used to do podcasts and shit.
>The only rule is 'don't be a faggot.'
>its filled to the brim with autistic retarded passive aggressive stupid inbred shitstains that will mess with everyone just because they dont have anything better to do in their pathetic useless meaningless lives
vasshole stop trying to bait people to come in your shitty autistic circlejerk
It is tied to your rank in the various factions. One of the first few rankups you get in every faction grants you a free mechbay so it may be worth it to hop between them and get a bunch.
No. If you truly feel the need to spend money on this game, find your totem mech and buy the hero version of it. Or get some MC and spend it on some of the cooler camos and a few colors you want. I'm personally a big fan of the Buccaneer camo, but Phranken also looks really good on a few mechs (Ravens and King Crabs specifically) and the IS faction camos are also all neat looking for the most part as well.
you're bloody talking to someone who hates the game, yet can't stop posting about it and he also knows nothing about the game, he's just lost in a drug induced haze of the past, just ignore him, that's what any sensible chap would do
Why is this threadvaguely busy again?
Last time I played this fucking game was about 14 months ago and it was near fucking dead.
What happened? Did PGI manage to fix their damn game?
Seriously fuck off Kong. This isn't your playhouse.
Ditch the stock 200 for a 250:
You could go with just an AC20 for a higher engine, but none of those engines are used in other builds.
>Seriously fuck off Kong. This isn't your playhouse.
I dont think you know who you are fucking with son. I am mother fucking Connor Sinclair of Kong Interstellar and I fucking created kong. I fucking made this and I made you and I can easily destroy it too
Tubes apply to both LRMs and SRMs. 15 tubes are generally the best, which is also the reason why the Awesome is the best mech in the game
So how does matchmaking work in quick play? Do players from different tier levels get mixed together? Will I encounter fewer oblivious direwolves who let me backstab them in tier 2?
Pic related, muh SPL knife fighter.
