I quit playing Wildstar by the time I hit level 15 so my opinion on it is a bit biased, I'll let someone else explain that part.

As for FFXIV, if you like roleplay and ERP it might have a larger community for it, it also has more content and generally a lot of things to do more frequently. It is buy to play/subscription though, and to me the combat feels REALLY slow and boring.

Tera is free, it has a really beautiful open world, unique races (everyone plays Elin anyway, but Tera still has good races), and most importantly it has AMAZING combat. No MMO really does combat as well as Tera does, unless you count Vindictus which might be the only thing that gives it a run for its money, but vindictus is old and ded.

Despite coming up on it's fourth year, TERA still has the best looking character models of any MMO out there. Add that with ERP being as easy to find as walking into a convenience store and picking up a bag of chips, as well as how blatantly oversexualized the entire game is, and fap fuel is honestly one of the better reasons to keep playing this game.

B&S characters look to have about the same amount of polys as TERA characters, so the only real difference is in the highly stylized look of the game. Some people like it more, some people like it less. I'm personally of the latter opinion, but I'll be fapping happy in both games regardless.

BDO isn't out yet and doesn't have any loli race. That'll probably be a big detriment to a lot of people here.

I would say don't get stunned but reapers are gay so just run away and swear vengeance, always do that when you see a reaper no exceptions because even shit ones take too long to kill - it's just not worth it. This works for me and I'm the best NA so.

If there's no reaper you just hit spacebar and they will all die from your skill.

Give them a skill to turn invisible and immune to damage until they want to 1v1 some more or for like 20 seconds or whatever. Call it disengage or something like that.

Slayer has always been the best at charging into or behind a group and killing/stunning/kd'ing everyone but they can't do that anymore because of the new classes and their gay stuns. This skill would make them perfect again because you could just be like nope when your cooldowns run out and wait until your shitter teammates catch up with you, then kill them.

The overcharge cyclone glyph is bad but it isn't as bad as the 25% damage on vamp strike.

Also, you shouldn't be using cyclone just for the sake of using ES, cyclone itself does a lot of damage.

If you metered your own DPS and looked at the breakdown of the skills, cyclone should be your second most total damaging skill

im not sure what your gear is, but a standard pve zerker will have +17 attack speed. I would honestly take it away from cyclone and put it on cast speed raze if anything. Sure cyclone deals damage, but its not a priority skill when you compare it to TS and ES

you learn mechanics and figure out that the lasers is on a cd and move away slightly when you know its about to come up. Worst case scenario you have to lethal strike to a safe distance, or maybe eat one laser. Its not a hard fight for berserkers, theres just not a single one out there that take the time to read boss mechanics and figure out ways to avoid taking damage without relying on an iframe or blocking

The buffs are nice but slayer is still going to be potato tier. It won't be so bad for equalized pvp but outside of that everyone stacks crit resist so rip that. It also doesn't solve how easy slayer is to punish compared to most classes and other classes can still do what slayer does but better. For PVE slayer will be way better.

Dominated by either new classes or over buffed classes. Reaper is still god, brawler is doing crazy deeps and gunner has recall. Fraywind is dead outside of sync groups, crusade has killed it. Group 3s is nothing but brawler/reaper (top 10 is filled with nothing but brawler/reaper/priest). Alliance isn't doing too bad but will never be at the level it was at when it first started. Owpvp is just ganking groups doing 30 mobs vanguard repeatable. Also I find slayer pretty easy to punish compared to every other class. They really need to change tenacities stupid wind up cast. Even more so when reapers have insta-cast counter.

Stagger gets outprioritized by other classes, our stuns are absolute garbage, and slayer backstab is the easiest thing to counter as you can either jump, 180 your camera and press w, or 180 your camera and press any form of cc. Also each roll has a ending lag frame, but if you roll twice yes your first one won't have much but you will be shit out of luck with no rolls to spare. Blocking punishes slayers extremely hard.

That skill would just be annoying to a good player and wouldn't fix the problem that slayers lack utility to have good matchups. The reason slayer in underpowered right now is because the other classes didn't just get damage buffs, they gained actual additions to their kit. Dstance warriors can KD chain you. Zerkers can dash at you. Sorcs can now stagger and stunlock you at point blank range. Reapers were already OP as fuck. etc. etc. etc.

There is just too much bullshit and power creep flying around for a melee class without block to be viable anymore. There are thus only two ways to fix slayer:

1. Give them the reaper treatment and overbuff their damage.

2. Give them some form of block or parry skill.

One cool skill would be something similar to reapers retribution, but a frontal block. This is a repost skill idea:

"Slayer skill: Moon stance. 12 sec cooldown. 1250 base damage. 200 mana.
-Assume a stance that blocks attacks from the front for 1 second. If you successfully block an attack, you teleport to your target and perform a slash with a high chance of knockdown."

Something like this would improve slayer matchups tremendously as the main shitty thing about slayer is everyone knows they can just keep spamming their attacks on you because slayer is the one melee class in the game with no real counterblocker.
