What do you think of Egg Robo as a character? As in going from standard mook to taking Eggman's place as the better than Eggman boss fights to finally being murdered in the end? (Did Mecha Sonic kill the flicky too or...?)

But yeah, I operate the same way, mostly because that's how I treated the Master System/Game Gear versions of the classic games. Then again, those are so different that you can treat them as entirely different events, which seems to be how the comics are using them.

I'm not sure I agree about them being prototype Egg Pawns either. The E-1000 Series onward primarily consists of mass produced units designed to be cheap and easy to build (which is why there are so many variants), whereas EggRobos (created at a time where Eggman most likely built most of his robots by hand) were more specialized units. I imagine the doc stopped using animals because it became too costly for him.

So, last time we went classic mode we got Sonic 4, which wasn't THAT bad but it could have been something much better.
And then classic Sonic in generations, I'd have played a whole game with that, just longer.

I feel that we're gonna get a fairly easy game with no story and no new interesting characters, only Sonic playable, possibly Tails, and possibly some awesome music.

Who knows, maybe it'll be GOTY and Chao Garden comes back and they have an intertwining story and the difficulty is ramped up to 11, but it's wishful thinking on my part.

I could see Thunderbolt being a strict, authoritarian mother; often ordering her kids around like they her subordinates. Genuinely cares about them, though, (mostly because of their father...) and would go full mama bear if they were in danger.

Neph would probably be a cool, fair mom. Loves her kids, and would try her best to distance them from their father.

Clove would likely be a protective mother, but nowhere near as crazy as Thunderbolt. Not sure if Cassia would/could have kids, on account of her illness.

Conquering Storm would be a terrible mother, and would probably groom and manipulate her children for her own ends.

Most people tend to think that all OC's is inherently bad. I disagree. The problem lies with execution, not the concept itself; Most creators who have OC's are uninspired, and tend to put them at the center of whatever story they make up for themselves - where all the events in that world revolve around their character(s), and would often overshadow the main cast. Most OC-driven stories are outright horrible, and understandably so.

To me, an OC done "right" would have to be one that is designed to exist in a world that can live on without them - A world for them to conform to, not the other way around.

It's possible, but you don't see it very often. Doesn't help that most get shit on because "hurr durr ocs are garbage"

So when do you think the flood gates are gonna open they have to announce a new game soon.

So Thunderbolt is short-tempered, loyal, vengeful and mean.
Clove is practical, analytical and caring despite not showing it outwardly too much.
Nephthys is motherly but a bit narrow-minded and defeatist/hopeless.
C. Storm is probably still got a bit of a cold/cruel streak and has no patience for weakness but respects power and strength (unless she's been majorly changed).

So Squidgirl...I know we only have a cover and a couple sketches, but maybe she's more on the fun side? Like Cassia a little, but if she's actually in a position of authority, probably smarter without the brattiness. I'm leaning towards this because on the other side of the spectrum is even colder and more blunt, and she just doesn't look the part IMO.
