>What is Tree of Savior?
Tree of Savior is an action MMORPG with a lot of jewery, classes, cute hats and autism grinding. The game is out in South Korea with international release soon to follow.™
>Can I play the game now?
You can play the game if you have a verified Nexon Korea account, which requires a Korean Mobile Phone number.

>Discord chat for kToS players (Keep it ToS related)
2nd for autoattacks, chaplain a strong
>Chaplain gives two extra hits
Only Pyro can give one more hit, for a total of 6, right?
This raises a question, whether Cafrisun is still reasonable option. Maybe four +ele piece will bring more damage?
Was about to make a new thread.
Good job OP.
>Discord chat for kToS players (Keep it ToS related)
tested it in iCBT2 too.
Even with that Silver-instead-items Attribute, the Damage was pretty lame.
Not very Big Area and 32sec CD.
Overall another crap skill
>Has anything terrible happened since then to the game?
Daily patches, maintenance and daily login rewards
Korean is gookike central.
There's still hopes of international in 2-3 months with daily TLs soon™
Thread is dead.
I guess they nerfed dungeons so you can only run 5 of your choice + daily quests at 100+
- TP shop open. can buy at website for nxcash. overpriced like mad
- Hair in TP shop for 198 + 289 TP or so. 2 Costumes currently for a bit less
- VIP Premium Tokens added, see pic. they can be sold in Market. they cost 198 TP
- Trading Removed (will MAYBE come back for Token users)
- Market Fee 30% (10% if Token)
- 1 Item in Market only (5 if Token)
- minimum and maximum Price in Market somehow fixed (no idea how that is calculated). cant sell lower or higher.
- Item added to Market showsup after x time. randomly 1-3 hours or so
- need to wait 2-3 days IRL Time to get Silver if you sell items in Market (even with Token)
- Max 5 "Free TP". you get "1 Free TP" after 2 hours
some classes better. some worse. events dont rly work. some more crap
Just checked said community and any references to said information have been deleted (facebook links to removed content). In other words, just baseless rumors.
I've also checked LevelUp's (BR) website out of curiosity, and it seems their lastest release was back in 2013. Based on their history, they never had more than one year between publishing new games before, so they might have been slowing down on their market expansion.
Managed to get enough to buy a Token.
Also, I noticed Slithering consumes STA. Not sure if it worked like this before, but I am glad I went with Plate after all. Dashing while Slithering drains STA ridiculously fast, too.
>people rather than getting bonus XP from the event were getting less
Don't reply to the retard. Let's discuss the game more.
I mean many options to level. Of course I'm doing the 90 dungeon.
IMC fucked up big time on the game's release. It was a complete shit show, they quickly released the game only ~2 weeks after kOBT and it still had a ton of bugs. There was drama over 'exploiters' and 'beaters' which resulted in bans.
Very buggy still on release and the Cash Shop went full jew, with cosmetic hairstyles costing ~$25 each. KRs were calling it 'Shit Tree' and were making an uproar. But, they've been slowly redeeming themselves and adding cheaper and better cosmetics, fixing bugs and adding new content with patch almost every day, it's slowed down since.
>>127878314 explains a lot of the changes with the full release. They're still fucking up events. e.g. A +20% exp event was actually -20% exp for the duration recently.
Karacha + Cafrisun + Blessing + Sacrament + Last Rites
Not included in the video, but with Aspergillum added that would add autocast Aspersion with every hit as well.
C7 pyro based on the trailers
Melee healing wizard
Wizard is not worth playing as a whole unless you like being a support slave.
But if you really want, warlock is a shitty dark themed wizard that relies on killing mobs to pop dark balls they can then throw around for some shitty extra dps, of course this whole mechanic is mostly uselss on bosses and mobs with a shit ton of hp. They also have a better fire pillar on a longer cooldown.
Featherfoot is a wizard than can heal themselves pretty well but it's not really the case for allies and apply a few debuffs, mostly a melee class. It's important to realize one of their two best skills doesn't work at all on two mob types and most of their skills are single target meaning on top of being melee you need linker for it to be somewhat decent.
Mediocre class with tons of drawback (a feature unique to the wizard tree) and not many pros. Actually with chapelain seemingly broken auto attack spam you could probably turn warlock into a godly support class since it has a skill that helps holy damage. Even more if those chapelain buff can be transfered to a qs3 with links.
Replace tos.exe with tos.z01,tos.z02,tos.z03.
Damn, that's neat. A contender for best Auto-attack class, easily.
I had no need for pills up until this point, I already have 51 STA. It's not really an issue, unless I am dueling and I need to move and Slither at the same time.
>Ultracast - Gives you both Surespell and Quickcast at the same time
>Coma - Slept targets get a stronger sleep effect that no longer has hit limit.
>Quakequake - Every attack inflicts LV15 earthquake on the target.
>Wizard Gameplay - You and all your allies deal bonus damage to sleeping enemies
At this point they should change thaumaturge buffs from matk/patk/int to additional magic damage.
>Levitate - You and your party are treated as flying. Level increases duration and bonus speed.
>Metamagic: Enlarge Spell - Temporarily increases your AoE attack rate, the area of effect and range of your spells at the cost of increasing the amount of SP they consume.
>Metamagic: Extend Spell - Temporarily extends the duration of your spell effects at the cost of increasing the amount of SP they consume.
>Metamagic: Maximize Spell - Increases the base damage (i.e.: not including gear and stats) of your spells at the cost of increasing the amount of SP they consume. If used with Lv10 Meteor, the channel crashes.
>All metamagic effects stack with each other
assuming your have enough SPR to handle real magic.
We D&D now.
Welp, is alch2 really that bad, I imagine you could do some shit with LVL10 dig that pops out 10 stones maybe at the ground then combust them for 900 dmg per stone.
Might be useful in some cases like autism.
Are auto attacks supposed to be this slow or laggy feeling on wizard?
I feel like the animation lock is too long to even bother auto attacking aside from finishing off enemies.
Yeah, I wasn't sure if the lagg was due to ping or because it was just slow with autos.
I've been trying the jump cancel but I can't get it to be as fluid as I've seen other people doing it. Not sure if that's also part of the latency or because I suck dicks.
The only thing I despise about wizard thus far is the damned SP consumption. It's running me dry.
>side step auto for higher fire rate
I saw this once on YT, this must be really tedious.
Thaumaturge is the best support one could ask for.
Not that I want to take the retard's side, but that's basically the life of a swordsman in a dungeon.
All you're good for is tanking while the spellcasters drop their bombs.
My experience with this game is pretty much
>Hello there, holy warrior
>You have been chosen!
>(Random boss spawns)
>Why you have been chosen?
>Because I DUNNO LOL
>(Another boss spawns)
>Oh shit I broke my ankle
>Can you help me, please?
>(Another boss spawns when you are reaching him)
>Shit, man...that was close
>OH MY GO(another boss spawns)
>WHOA, MAN!You are really awesome!
>Have I told you I am your f(boss spawns)
JESUS CHRIST DUDE
I knew I'd get this reply. Basically, I stopped doing anything in order to keep him focused on the center of the screen.
I am functioning as a normal tank, except I don't get rekt during the magic parts.
The physical damage parts I am inferior to a Pelt simply because I can't aggro as many monsters, but during any segment with magic are where I really get to shine. Frozen, knocked down, sleep, nothing cancels Slithering, so long as I am holding down the key.
There are also ways to keep Slithering up 100% of the time.
Hoplite expert here. Let me tell that it's not true at all.
You're a boss destroyer, but unless a linker is there to group up mobs in one spot so you can melt them with stabbing, you won't be doing much aside from auto attacking and tanking.
Are there any romantic relationships in this game yet!
If you want to put it that way, I suppose you're right. This isn't a PvE oriented character to begin with.
I can't Swashbuckle, so I have to run around and aggro+hit monsters to make up for it. Then I just hold C and let our linker soak up the 6-10 monsters I gathered. If you think that's being useless that's your opinion, but I have yet to hear a complaint in-game.
can't stun bosses meaning you can't bleed them with thrust meaning it's shit cause time spent trying to stun and bleed mobs is better used just beating on them with skyliner anyway.
40% stun is great, and even 20% stun is pretty respectable in duels, but when you put things in perspective, you're basically getting longer duration buffs and some passive stun over not being able to take Pelt, Hahaman, and Barb, which are the bread and butter for any swordsman.
Every other R1 class in this game has really good attributes and skills, making them worth getting extra circles of, but Swordsman C2 and 3 need to be buffed A LOT before anyone seriously starts picking them.
Then use that staff that increase auto attack damage by 200% of your matk and use lethargy for the +100% damage and join qs/chapelain in tree of auto attacks.
>this game also has a fucking dispell ability
just like RO
welp, time to redo my whole build
SR confirmed even more viable now
Cataphract now also seems good even if you take Hahaman, that is if every skill now works which it looks like it does.
I've been over this a few times on the thread already.
Basically, Taking Pelt+Rodel is a waste because neither does good damage, and have no synergy with each other. Just because both use shields doesn't mean they make a good combo.
On the other end, Hahamans have excellent slash, and Cartar Stroke's cooldown lines up perfectly with High Kick's cooldown, giving me respectable Slash AND Strike damage.
My Rodelero in Gabija was PeltHop, and I ran into the problem of having ABSOLUTELY NO DAMAGE OUTPUT immediately after I hit Rodelero1. Promised myself I wouldn't do this to myself again.
Dispellers are borderline cheating the way I see it, making many classes' main defense and attack mechanisms moot. On the other end, without them, any class with easy access to CCs can easily chain-lock you down and completely disable you.
They should go with RO's system for CCs, where different effects could be contered in different ways. VIT protected against Stun, AGI against Bleed(I think, can't remember now), INT against Silence, LUK against Curse, MDEF against Freeze and Stone Curse. And for all characters, you could wear an armor card that gave you immunity to a particular CC, in exchange of losing the most important card slot available to you.
In ToS, they could have Magic Defense, SPR, INT, and CON protect against particular CC effects. The way we have things now, SPR protects agaisnt everything, but it's nearly useless as a stat for everyone who isn't Cleric, so people have little incentive to take some SPR in their builds.
>he gave me a sp increase potion instead of pink hair
Did they change it or did i just get kiked?
Saving the thread from page 10.
I am somehow going to endure 10 runs of the 130 dungeon in a single day, and then 5 more when it resets 3 hours from now.
A true tank goes Peltasta into Rodelero.
What good is it if you can absorb magic attacks from enemies if you aren't the target of those enemy casters?
Even level 1 peltasta would've been enough.
I cant be the only one who enjoy kTOS?
>get party as corsair fast as fuck
>solo most of the time so no trading doesnt really bothers me.
>Dungeon gave loads of silver
>Retarded BR non existant
>gookikes supplying token for cheap on the market.
iOBT gonna be worse than this. Screencap
Going Pelt1 means I would be using my Rank3 as my only damage source for the rest of the game. Rodelero3 and Templar are 4 circles of no damage.
Besides, this isn't a "true tank", this is a Guild Leader build. Being tank is just my role un dungeons, not the actual purpose of this character.
>On the other end, without them, any class with easy access to CCs can easily chain-lock you down and completely disable you.
Plague Doctor snirks and tells your to fuck off.
Oracle snirks and tells your to fuck off.
>SPR protects against everything
lol no, I have played full SPR Cleric and I still got hexed, petrified and poisoned.
SPR protects you, but it isn't a super anti CC immunity stat, stop talking shit you know nothing about.
I have everything that's required of a tank. I don't particularly want to be a tank, it's just that everyone needs to fit into one of the golden triad RPG roles, and tank fits me best.
Sorry, I expressed myself wrong. I meant that SPR protects against everything that can be protected against. In other words, if SPR doesn't resist it, nothing else will.
Does CON help resist poison and bleed? That's the first I read about this.
It does not help, but going 50:50 con/spr gives you pretty nice block rate, and you can block(without shield lol) with priest3, and yes, if you are pelt you can just hold block manually to block poison and bleed.
I realised that the international version completely depends on subhuman brs pushing their google-translations to github.
No commits = no icbt.
I don't think my thaumaturge is ready for all the attention she will get.
Provoke I mean is the Swordsman attribute.
It's really confusing, but basically what it does is that, whenever it's on, mobs do not change aggro. The tank should have it on, and any other swordsmen in the party should always have it off.
Good luck explaining it to koreans, though.
I remember I finished this fight really fast with my sapper, also 200 is pretty much what I'm doing per AA to bosses now. Are archers really as shit as people make them out to be?
Do you guys have graphical glitches as well? I get them whenever there are layered effects on screen, such as waterfalls at a distance, or the fire beneath the ground at mage tower.
This map in particular bugs out on me a lot, on this particular place.
>except I don't get rekt during the magic parts.
Just wanted to say, additional to everything the other anons have said, that this statement is absolutely false.
Those mobs deal laughable damage. I have tanked as many magical mobs Swash Buckling allows me to aggro while tanking with multiple swordie builds AND dealing way more damage in the process.
Slithering is not required to tank those magical mobs. Even if you aggro the entire screen, no build gets "rekt during the magic parts". Using Slithering is a waste of time as one could simply be dealing damage to make the run faster.
And since the damage from Hahaman+Rodelero is pretty weak as we can see from the video, then this build is effectively doing nothing.
Those monsters *can* kill you, please don't pretend otherwise. That said, with some moderation and a healer, an average Peltasta can deal with this easily. I never meant that this wasn't the case.
Hahaman + Rodelero is weak, but it's the best Rodelero you can build. Swordsmen aren't the best dungeon DPSers, with any build.
Do you guys have a suggestion for rank 7 for this build?
I wanted to try run and gun and stab but I can't think of anything to do on rank 7 except Rogue C3, but burrow seems pretty... eh, aside from additional ranks in Backstab I guess. Scout maybe?
Take Archer2 for the Swift Step attribute and Kneeling shot. They have good synergy with QS3.
If you feel like suffering a lot, try Archer1QS3Scout3. Running Shot with Split Arrow should make you the best auto-attacker in the game, IF you can make it to Rank7.
There's a lot more thought going into this build than on my SwordLanderHopCataCorDoppel.
I know there's someone here in /tosg/ that's making the exact same build I didn in iCBT2, replacing Highlander with Pelt.
>Those monsters *can* kill you, please don't pretend otherwise
Sure, they *can* kill you...if you play like a fucking retard.
Let's be serious, any half decent player won't die to those mobs. Knowing how to play against those mobs means you won't die, even with 0 CON builds and aggroing the entire screen with Swash Buckling.
Please don't pretend that Slithering is doing anything meaningful in here, because every other swordie build gets by without it and doesn't *die* or "get rekt".
If Slithering was even slightly required, then every swordie build would at least consider taking it and we would have read a shit load of people complaining about magic mobs and how they have to take Rodelero for them to not "get rekt" in dungeons. Which hey, never happened.
I haven't seen any graphic glitch except for headgear going transparent and overlapping with background sometimes.
>no cute tsundere hoplite girlfriend who bullies LoliPantsu for being useless
>Swordsmen aren't the best dungeon DPSers, with any build.
so because other classes deal more damage and swordsmen you use that as an excuse to be useless? i mean, even if barb/hop/cor/cata deal less damage than those magic classes, they are still dealing a significant amount of damage, and in the case of hop/cata they can delete the big guys in seconds with their boss killing skills/spear.
Scout would be nice, especially the cute noise when casting Flare Shot.
But I would rather go for Rouge3 for extra Backstab damage and extra Physical Attack % from Vendetta (+45% of your Physical Attack for 45 secs at lvl 15).
Can anyone tell me what the pop up message is saying? Every time I click to receive the prize for day 2 I get it.
I was thinking of archer too, but I wasn't sure if it was worth going back to it at Rank 7 with all the options available
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't Vendetta only give flat strength now? It's only a 25 str difference from level 10 to 15.
I feel like throwing the FUTUREPROOF card here, but that would make me feel dirty.
Indeed, there's very little in PvE, as far as we know, that's magic and can kill you if you at least know what you're doing. Lizardman Magician and Hallowventer Shamans come to mind, but that's not enough to worry about.
I just wish people would understand already that this build is PvP-oriented, not PvE.
Here we go again.
The Rodelero damage kit doesn't shine until C3, when you get Lv15 Targe Smash and High Kick. Even then, Rodelero skills have a ridiculously high SP cost for some reason, which make them rather impractical for frequent use.
Basically what I do in dungeons is round up as many mobs as I can(manually), hold C until the thick of the mob is dead, and then use Hahaman skills to kill stragglers. It's all I can do.
You can only click stuff for the next day after 6 AM in-agme time. Try again in 30 minutes.
Yes, yes it is worth going back to it. As for what you'll want to pick at R6 and 7 is up to you. Falconer2 or Reiter2 might be good, Reiter only so if all of the stuff can be used mounted.
Nope Vendetta got a revamp
Only lists skills at C2 for some reason but you can easily calculate Vendetta at lvl 15
That was how Vendetta originally worked
Oh okay that makes sense.
All I addressed was the comment implying how someone not using Slithering would "get rekt during magic parts". Which is false, unnecessary and a waste of time to even use it during our current PvE content (Yes, I will give you that it could change in the future, and that is a very big if).
I don't care if your build is for PvP, PvE, or roleplaying purposes. I believe that everyone should play whatever they want to enjoy the game, even if it means useless builds, roleplaying builds, meme builds or retarded builds (the game is easy enough to allow every one of these to exist).
All I wanted is to stop any misconceptions that someone going swordie without Slithering would "get rekt during magic parts". This is how memes get started.
That particular one is bugged as heck. The issue is that there's two versions of the floor in that spot, one for before and one for after you kill Cerberus (because he wrecks the panels on the floor when he pops out). It's treated as a map object though, so it only appears when you're close enough. In this case though, 'close enough' is after you're already standing on it. Poor design~
For the event, the prizes are for consecutive attendance, missing a day resets progress. On the plus side, there's 30 days and only 20 prizes, so missing a day at the start shouldn't screw you out of the 20 day prize.
Is there any info on what the Kabbalist class actually does? I know it has a nuking spell and a reflect damage spell, but I also see it has spells that modify "numbers" of the enemy which I don't really get.
>play with controller
>for some reason, every single input is fucked up now
Why this game doesn't allow me to remap my inputs is beyond me
>This is how memes get started.
Memes are beyond our control. Just take a look at how the meta changed.
>Highlanders are awesome, look at Cartar Stroke.
>No, they're shit, get Swashbuckling.
>Wait, at C3 they are good because of Skull Swing, they are good again.
>Nah, Skull Swing isn't all that good. Don't go Highlander.
>Oh shit, no cooldown Skyliner.
>Skyliner patched, it's even better now.
>Wizards are shit, do no damage and suffer because of SP
>Wiz3Ele3 shits on everyone
>Chronomancers are the next big thing
>Rushing Alchemist for potion monopoly(rekt)
>Quarrel Shooters look interesting
>NO! Quarrel Shooters are garbage
>I saw a good PvP QS, they must be good!
>Just wait until they buff Quarrel Shooter
Who knows, maybe Rodeleros will be the next big thing. Maybe we'll find out Swordsman3 is THE shit for PvP, or perhaps all monsters 220+ are weak to Slash so only Hahamans and good again. There's no guessing the future when it comes to IMC.
You're right, though. Rodelero isn't good, but it's not bad enough that it would make me want to wake me up inside post all day. I really like costume and it really clicked with me.
Gematria and Notarikon are part of a cool system, but their only uses right now are for that reduce level skill, I hope it shines more in C2
Also it has Ein Sof, doubles HP and has an attribute that lowers the HP increase but enables SP regen
Yes, and yes.
We will see. I personally don't like to make assumptions about the future when anything could or couldn't change (maybe we never get magic mobs, or maybe we do, or maybe Sky Liner gets nerfed to the ground, or maybe it doesn't, or maybe Rodelero gets it's kit changed, or maybe it doesn't, or maybe a new hidden class is added that is a better magic tank, or maybe it doesn't, or maybe IMC runs out of money and the game is shit for years, or maybe it isn't, or maybe they make the game even easier, or maybe they don't, etc, etc, etc).
Can anyone give me some tips for this build? Don't know how to build my priest3 to chaplain. Also what would be a good rank 7 for this build?
I want to ______ a submissive effeminate catboy.
this guy must be killing himself for taking Monk instead of Chaplain
Maybe he likes monk!
It's a good idea to be honest, you can increase the duration of your support wizard mastema to slap thing even harder for a longer duration while he/she cheers you on.
Yes, I remember the feeling.
>Didn't even use Aspergilium
>All that potential for meme damage
Autoattack Chaplains new meta?
It's not bullying, I just find it hard to believe someone who knew of my story would go and accidentaly do the same thing.
Even more impressive is that his levelling partner didn't stop him.
That's pretty ridiculous that you get that much power from just one circle. So basically anybody who wants to maximize their priest potential but isn't an early player that can get one of the limited hidden class slots is SOL? I really thought hidden classes were gonna be gimmicky and/or situationally useful classes while core classes would be the backbone of any good group, making them direct upgrades of existing classes seems like an awful idea.
Hidden classes won't necessarily be an upgrade of a common class, like Chaplain. Shinobis are a stand alone hidden class. Wait until we get a decent amount of released hidden classes to get mad.
I guess this is telling me you can't buy items your alt listed?
RIP the dream. How do I transfer money.
What's the chance of getting the bonus EXP from cards?
Looking at the values, the bonus is more than 75% of the card's base value for Lv7 Cards. If we knew the chance, it'd be possible to calculate with more accuracy how many cards you need to reach a certain level.
They removed the 'exp bonus' text from cards around the height of the roxana drama which caused IMG to make a big post stating that it never actually worked in the first place.
So bonus EXP simply doesn't work here? They didn't even bother updating the descriptions...
I finished calculating my EXP cards to get over the 16x wall. Maybe I'll make an Excel template later.
Current EXP: 50,353,024 + 0.573*1,332,352 = 51,116,460 EXP
EXP at 175: 126,465,680 EXP
Difference: 75,349,220 EXP <- Needs to be reached with cards
Lv7 Cards on hand: 76*142,150 = 10,803,400 EXP
Cards to get:
Shaton Reservoir: 15
Demon 3: 15
Dina Bee: 15
Demon 4: 15
Demon 5: 12
Spring Light: 15
Namu Temple: 12
Istora Ruins: 13
Tyla monastery: 18
Total: 187 Cards: 39,145,458 EXP
All Cards: 54,213,358 EXP
Deficit: 21,135,862 EXP <- Need to grind or get daily quest cards
Supposing 5x Lv8 EXP cards per day:
Required cards: 100 Cards = 20 Days
What level do you start getting Lv8 cards again? Getting Lv8 cards daily instead of Lv7s seems more worth it than being within the 130 dungeon range. With Lv7 cards it would take almost 30 days instead of 20.
They don't want people to trade between their own characters because it lowers the value of crafting characters, guild masters, etc. "Why would I buy pots when I can just hop on my alt and make my own" isn't something they want you doing. Most of those niche classes are R5+ for the same reason.
>tfw can't get into an MMO right now but want those comfy RO feels from childhood
I better not be fucking bullied if I play archer in international.
Or it would motivate you to create and level those classes so you don't have to buy those things from other people. It's not like levelling is so easy or quick that it wouldn't be a real investment.
It doesn't matter if it's an investment or not, being able to just hop on your alt and get the things you want kills the fun for people who actually enjoy the feeling of playing as a crafter since anybody who is willing to put in 500 hours or however long it takes will just have all your skills+his main's combat skills.
Tested what would happen if I overleveled a special potion attribute, and it's a failure.
The game tries to make a lvl16 potion, which doesn't exist, resulting in nothing (mats don't get used up).
So now I can never make m.amp potions ever, which sucks, but the things cost 3 Dilgeles each anyway, which are hard/expensive enough to get.
>yfw international comes out mid February with trading back, lowered market tax, and the only thing you use TP for is alternative costumes
>Or it would motivate you to create and level those classes so you don't have to buy those things from other people
What part of this did you not understand?
>"I can just hop on my alt and make my own" isn't something they want you doing
>It's not like levelling is so easy or quick that it wouldn't be a real investment.
So what? Spreading AIDS isn't so easy or quick that you can infect lots of people without making a real investment, but that doesn't mean anyone will approve of it.
>So what? Spreading AIDS isn't so easy or quick that you can infect lots of people without making a real investment, but that doesn't mean anyone will approve of it.
I got mistaken for a nip because of my name, as well.
I got a similar reaction earlier today at the 130 dungeon entrance. I called a korean guy hahaman, and then some 10 gooks on screen spammed him with flipped Fs.
that analogy with AIDS makes so little sense I don't even know where to start
to begin with the only reason this "no sharing between characters" nonsense can even exist is because trading doesn't exist, otherwise even if storage wasn't shared, people could just hand items off to a friend and back to their alt.
I can feel the tip of iOBT entering me!
>put down pavise
>put down stake stockades
>put down a claymore
>deploy broom trap
>launch flare shot
>get friend to do the same
I AM A FORTRESS
Doing everything solo with alts is figuratively AIDS because it begins a slow, nearly invisible process that eventually kills the game years later when the community system (immune system) breaks down. HIV carriers (solo kiritos) insist they're fine and healthy the whole time, up until the shit hits the fan and they're the first to die off. When the game goes into decline, people stop interacting with strangers so much and wall themselves off in closed groups (AIDS caused a shift in sexual behavior and the rise of condoms). AIDS works by turning the immune system against itself, and this process works by using the playerbase's desires against the playerbase. In the endgame/full blown stage, when nobody has anything to offer other players anymore, they declare it a dead game and move on to the next game, where they'll campaign on the forums to spread the same disease to it. The easiest way to stave off AIDS is to do what the creator intended (exchange goods and services with other players/don't buttsex other men - alts are the same as you, hence homo, which means "same"). You can still exchange silver with the help of another player via the market as long as you can post items at extremely high prices like in that screenshot above or buy a token, and this is the equivalent of safe sex, since the intermediary silver (condom) prevents the exchange from contaminating the crafted goods economy (ass or vagina).
>to begin with the only reason this "no sharing between characters" nonsense can even exist is because trading doesn't exist, otherwise even if storage wasn't shared, people could just hand items off to a friend and back to their alt.
They could make them bind on trade, specifically block trading for items that originated on your account, or apply a per item tax (applying to each item in a stack) so it wouldn't be worthwhile for common crafts like potions.
Finally got to QuarrelShooter2 on my alt. I really like Rapid Fire already.
Did they do any more optimization of this game since ICBT 2? It's kinda laggy on my machine when there's too many people on screen and once when fighting a field boss with a group of 20+ people every player in the zone crashed at once due to too many particles in play. Any hope of it getting better or is it about as good as it's gonna get?
>can't dual wield pistols
>no Mana Mana Mana Mana
What is purpose of Adventure Journal? Those chest give me + blue diamond but i dunno what it do
so I downloaded the exe and z01, z02 and z03 of the game but when i launch the exe it opens a launcher with 0% in it, im fucking dumb when it comes to computer stuff anyone knows what I shoudl do?
As long as the exe,z01,z02 and z03 are all in the same folder it should be fine.
Might be installing/patching.
>they're translating it every day now
>still no date
If we don't get word from IMC soon I'm going to end it. I'll take Cattly with me.
I think they'll announce it when they have 75%+ of translated files. Keep in mind that daily patches from kToS also add new content.
>I'll take Cattly with me.
Killing yourself with Cattly is not worth it. Might as well end the fuccboi itself for stress relief.
well yes they are in the same folder, but it is still stuck at 0%, also when I click the blue button on the bottom right it opens a window saying ERROR CODE 46. Anyway I'm just going to wait see if something happens, thanks for the answer anon.
They give you silver. Really really nice when starting our with a new character. Gives tones of silver enough to get those few important attribute points and buy a shiny 2nd handed upgraded early game weapon from the market.
Druid has always been able to use monster skills.
The stats are the same as your character but Druid attributes have additional ones depending on the ones you bought from the druid master.
What kind of game is IMC turning this into with this class?
The kind of game with sluts who have easy access indicators on their bodies.
>Token effect not applied error
>I bought a token today
Don't tell me I wasted my money
Musketeer / Cannoneer party gameplay
>enter dungeon with Linker.
>first time seeing Linker in action
I regret my choices
Oh bummer. I'm a korean to english translator who would be interested in having a submissive humanboy in exchange for a faster international release.
Where are the pliers when you need them!
Good night /tosg/
International when I wake up please
Can somebody recommend me with what class to go next? I'm a Cleric, Priest2, Krivis. It would have been an easy choice if I was Priest3 but I sadly am not. I am quite lost. I plan on going as a full support/buffer/healer type character.
They're facking praised and a godsend when you can get one for your 5 man party.
Tons of survivability added to your team. Thru heal tiles, activatable area heals. Death prevention Spells. Revival.
And to top it off they still give good additional damage for multihit skills.
Question, do I absolutely HAVE to take dual wielding skills if I want to be a Corsair? I was thinking it'd be fun to be a tank pirate that ends in Templar, throwing down buffs and chaining enemies. Something like this.
Pirate flag is almost useless past level 2 and the 2 hooking spells are useless past level 1. You want to tank and have CC's and don't even take Dust Devil. The only reason you ever go Corsair at all is for Hexen and Dual Weapon Assault. If you want to go Templar going Cataphract so you can scout maps for World Bosses easier and then warp in the guild when you find them is way better than Taltpantsu and his pvp focused Rodelero build but even that is better than yours.
Alright didn't play Swordie in icbt2 so didn't know how shit scales. If the job is just to scout and TP people in could you go one in Cataphract instead of Peltasa 3 and then 2 in squire so you have arrest to use on the bosses once you find them+some more support skills?
>drop chance percentage
you mean pillaging? even at lvl 1 i got almost 30k extra silver from single run of 130 dungeon.
any idea what's the numbers like per skill level? will 15 jolly rogers be awesome?
>level requirement 220
Featherfoot still will want to keep distance if they can.
hackapell when? Mergen when? I wanna make a steppe meme build, starting with Falconer
>HAVE TO CRAFT DISPELLERS ONE AT A TIME
WHAT THE FUCK DID YOU FUCKING GOOKS BREAK THIS TIME
some ppl selling 600+ 800+ 900+
you doing something wrong? only u bugged? or just use a macro overnight?
Ive tried 3 or 4 differnet things.
No matter the map, the amount of people around me and how many i try to craft at the same time. It does 2 in a row then cancels the 3rd and sits there looking stupid until i start it again
Im guessing some of those were up before this bug happened, if not, i take my ears off to those dilligent jews
For the 175, it's 15% a solo run at 180+, getting worse as you approach the wall. Divide by 3 for a party run.
Catacombs raid is also a good one, 7-8% a run for 1-3 persons, for only 20 minutes of work. Just ignore the bosses and kill the spiders.
There really is no fast way to do it, just work on your backlog while doing dungeons.
shit exp. limited entry. nope
lame exp share. barely good party spots. nobody even doing prison. nope
a few spots. 5 channels. all full. nope
solo is boring as hell anyways. why cant they let us grind dungeons all day long
Does anyone else have trouble deleting mail? I hit the Delete button and confirm, but nothing happens.
I've got enough collection box maps and quest guides to start making a bunch of wiki pages for the maps. However, I need clear, edited maps like the ones from this page:
The anon from made the page template hasn't posted in /tosg/ in a while and I am tired of waiting. Is this image extracted directly from the ipf? I'd like to have the same model for all pages, but I have no idea how to extract this from the client.
Found my favourite redditor
So the new mechanic about auto switching weapons is different from what I thought. Even with my 500 ms ping, it's nearly instant and you don't get that slowdown from weapon swap when doing it.
No more issues with weapon incompatibilities anymore.
100 mission in mercenary post.
Hit the books til spiders start spawning, dont kill the book til you kill 5 waves of 4 spiders.
Ignore the bosses, if you're solo the aggro bugs out after an area or two and they just ignore you, or just have someone kite them away.
Ah thanks. I didnt do these much. Which is it?
Correction, I meant 5 waves of 3 spiders.
The mobs are scaled to your level, it seems to give 7-8% whatever your level is.
At 181 it's already slightly faster xp/hour than the 175.
If you have the english patch, it should be translated (as 'Catacombs') when you talk to the NPC itself.
Just be careful there, the raid option menu tends to pop up suddenly and you can easily click on the first option, Siaulai.
If you're soloing, start with the bottom area, with the Ox boss.
He's the easiest to dance around, after you finish his area and move on to the other bosses they tend to ignore you unless you attack them.
