Here's another person who did nothing wrong.
And here's a person whose only "wrongdoing" was being the perfect role model and father figure for Cirilla.
I'm sorry, anon, but I think deep down you know I'm right. He simply wished what was best for her, he even tried to protect her from Eredin and his gang. The good always die young...
>You will never be a member of the Rats
Why even live? Jdimsa.
Geralt and Triss are perfect for each other, they treat each other equally and with care, they are really compatible.
I love justanor's art :3
Adding content for Triss was a great move by CDPR, they listened to their fans and made the game much better for many people. Thank you good folks from CDPR, you have my eternal loyalty.
350 hours in
Second main play through on him and about to start second Hos
I finally figured out how to play the game with no mistakes and its an interesting way it was put together
You have to play as Ciri even if you control Geralt every choice every move has to be made like you are playing as Ciri and asked Geralt for an opinion
People self insert as Geralt but you need to self insert as Ciri via proxy namely Geralt
What would Ciri is the name of the real game
Snowball fight yeah Ciri likes that because she loves ice skating as revealed in the start
Wreck the lab you need to blow off steam
Visit that guys grave because he was a good guy and take a shoulder to cry on
Triss has always loved Geralt, CDPR saw that she deserves to be with him and made her a main love interest and the only one that has been with Geralt in all the games. In the world of tw games Triss Merigold is Geralt's biggest love.
I do, polish voices are great, Geralt and Triss are better, Ciri is also great, Yen and Emhyr are better in english though, but overall I prefer them being a slav myself, from a different country though, but I still understand some words.
Geralt's true love, he loved her before, during, after, always.
I want a marriage and romance DLC, we should be allowed to marry our chosen romance option, and spend time with them. It could include two very small areas, one representing Kovir and other whatever the place Geralt and Yen end up. We should get a house and have options that would include talking, kissing, sex and taking our love with as as a companion.
Friendly HUD is pretty great.
Triss was great in tw2
I read the books and it seems to me that Geralt has a soft spot for Triss in them, sure he loves Yen more, but it is mostly because of the Djinn curse, it's like he wants to be with Triss but the curse is just too strong.
His amnesia made the curse weaker and it was natural and easy for him to fell in love with Triss, no wishes needed.
Even when he recovers his memory his love for Triss is stronger than the curse and when the curse is lifted he is completely free to forever be happy with Triss. But even if the curse remained I still think he would go with Triss.
I'm not the best with computer specs. I played Witcher 1 and 2 fine and really want to finish the story. How low can you set the graphics and such, as I feel like I'll be borderline minimum spec.
Take a look at this mod.
My Geralt married Triss in witcher 1
>what do u all think about this new dialogue...??
I don't care about the kiss, Triss is mature enough to let it slide and that understand Yen was caught up in the moment. Triss knows that Geralt only loves her now.
But Geralt would care...!! being force kissed is almost like rape-- imagine a man doing this to a woman everyone would go crazy. so yes I think Geralt should react maybe throw a punch. Triss knows he loves her but Yennfer must also know he loves Triss. imo.
>Koviri kisses will be nice though.
They sure will, Geralt and Triss relationship is much more loving than his and Yen's. I'm sure Geralt will spoil Triss with his love in Kovir, and she deserves it.
Does anyone knows if Witcher 1 is a pain in the ass to get running properly?
I don't have the best of specs, but still it's a reasonably old game, and I can run newer ones with no problem.
My issue is, no matter what settings I use, it keeps stuttering, especially when I'm at Old Vizima.
I've tried the ram patch, prioritizing the game via task manager, and nothing seems to help it.
If someone can help me, I would appreciate it.
Triss is perfection.
try forcing vsync through your nvidia control panel (or whatever you're using) or playing in windowed mode, that helped me when I was having similar issues. also the engine itself is kinda wonky so getting some stuttering from time to time is expected, especially in certain parts of Vizima.
This outfit looks 10x better on Triss than Keira, probably because Triss is 10x hotter.
Better than Yen and Triss. For me at least. But definitly better than Triss.

Is one severely outclassed by the other in 2?
Do they in turn get outclassed early by new weapons?
>Do they in turn get outclassed early by new weapons?
Here! Have this fisstech-Ciri!
>Need to beat this dwarf.
>This happens all the time
Real nice game
Almost there Anon. Here have this, just to be sure.
Anyone has the Yen Rand pasta/posts? They used to be amusing but I cannot find them anywhere. Especially the one with the dirty commie Triss.
Please don't go.
I have so much more to show you.
There'll be more than just fucking! :3
bookfags, I read somewhere Ciri was attracted to Eredin. Was it because she was a horny teenager, or is there some hate sex going on between those two?
>Be 14 yo me
>Watch some videogame program on Polish TV
>They talk about The Witcher, while intro cinematic from TW1 is shown in the background
>"Who knows, perhaps in a few years people across entire globe will recognise the white-haired witcher from Poland?"
>"Kek, sure thing, buddy"
I truly never expected it will all turn out this way.
>I read somewhere Ciri was attracted to Eredin
She was never really attracted to him. She just assumed that he will attempt seducing her after he invited her to a private conversation in the bower. He didn't.
>liking the elf terrorist
how does it feel to have such shit taste?
>is a terrorist
>repeatedly tries to kill you
>abandons you in your time of need
>is a furry
>is a gentleman
>repeatedly saves your ass, even if you sided with his mortal enemy
>can relate to Geralt because he also has a daughteru
>is a patriot
>not a furry
please come back once you have acquired actual taste.
He was a charming and charismatic elf in the books, he basically called her a golden nugget on a pile of shit, then later offered her a flower as an apology.
So yeah, a teenage girl would fall for that I guess.
What's up with literally all tumblr whores wanting to ride Iorveth's dick?
Is that the "bad boy appeal", or his faggy elven babbyface?
Either way, I can't believe that Broche - the true man - didn't gather far more female attraction.
Except Iorveth is handsome and charming, Roche looks like someone skinned a rat and has the personality of one.
She fell for him while he used her for his own ambitions.
But all that attraction for him left her when she learned that the Aen Elle basically genocided humans to get their world, but CDPR fucking up his looks and character in W3 did not help as well.
>wishing ciri had a better love interest than a chubby neckbeard
We will in TW4! I am curious to see how they would do it in the future though, I just don't want it to be a bland choice from a bunch of characters who are all magically bisexual.
Come on man, now you're literally baiting.
Roche is perfect and handsome, I mean even Triss had a crush on him. even Foltest! you can't resist the broche. Iorveth on the other hand is a filthy elf who's probably rotting in some gutter by now because no one gives a shit about one more dead elf.
Yeah, that was retarded, even if he did save her life from Eredin, it was out of character for Ciri to be a dumb bitch after all she went through in the books.
But the W3 Ciri is a very diluted Book-Ciri anyway, having the Book-Ciri in Witcher 3 would not have made these autists in this thread spamming her pics for once.
>Waifuwars entering the new (old) stage
Book-Ciri was a deeply damaged, emotionally wrecked girl hellbent on revenge, then suddenly becoming the biggest nihilist the world has ever seen. Not surprised given what she went through.
Iorveth romance patch when, CDPR? I think the best moment would have been after he takes off the bandana.
>it was out of character for Ciri to be a dumb bitch
Yeah, which is a shame CDPR made her a "daughterfu" in Witcher 3, would have been much more interesting to have the book Ciri instead.
With that said, some people wanted an option to kill off Yennefer for fuck's sake, so you can imagine having the book Ciri would not work so well with the aspect of actually defending her life.
Fuck normies and fuck waifu fags plaguing RPGs.
Better bald than having only one eye, you fag.
>Iorveth romance patch when, CDPR?
As much as I hate that faggot, even Triss got one, so I gotta agree with you there.
I bet you also killed Letho. I mean having a taste so shit you should probably kill yourself.
Daily reminder that Sigfried is going to cuck you with Shani if you bring him to party.
Daily reminder that Sigfried is NOT a bro, and Shani is a whore.
They Bioware'd her hard but thankfully she has shades of her old character, namely when she decided to avenge Vesimir and when she has her angry moments.
Triss on the other hand lost many of her 'greyness' from the books, mostly working with the Lodge and guilt complex over surviving the Sodden. Now she's like any other Bioware female LI.
Iorveth lost his eye fighting bravely for a cause he believes in, Roche lost his hair because he has faulty genetics.
>I bet you also killed Letho.
Only Rochecucks do that. I guess you guys then fantasize about riding Roche's sweet thick cock over a Temeria flag or something.
>would have been much more interesting to have the book Ciri instead.
This is why I'm kinda hopeful for the next witcher game, assuming it's a Ciri game that is. It'll give the opportunity to actually focus on Ciri's character and bring up her actions in the past. And for romance options they could play up some insecurities given her past experience.
I would never, ever hurt Iorveth
unless he asked me to.
Roche isn't bald you imbecile.
>There are really people who would rather have this >>127915152 instead of this
>You will never drive around Novigrad on friday night with your bros Iorveth and Roche, having grand 'ol time
Why even live ;_;
I would too, but she would not really be a good sage, because she does not know shit about the Anal Elves :^)
Agreed, damn shame it happened to both, the sad thing is, trissfags really find triss to be a good character in Witcher 3, how much they don't know.
Doubt it will be a good game though, just like the Ciri parts in the books, they were sub-par when you compared them to Geralt's
But I understand what you want, but making a game about her travelling to different lands while being pursued by the Wild Hunt would not be that interesting, even a sequel for Witcher 3 would not work well with having her as the main character.
Would rather have a new Witcher instead.
>This is how the game would actually look like if not for consolefags
I will never forgive them. This is just too frustrating.
Shitposting aside, Iorveth would have made a good love interest in TW2. He was a established character in the books (if only barely mentioned), and you can tell how his relationship with Geralt changes gradually over the course of his route in the game. He goes from outright antagonism to tenuous alliance to deep and trusting friendship, which was only one step away from a romantic interest. The scene in which he reveals his scar to Geralt was one of the most touching moments of TW2, and it shows how much they both have learned to trust one another. Even Geralt thinks elves are pretty in the books (in the first one, he calls a half-elf "beautiful"), plus Iorveth is rather attractive by himself.
I don't think it would be out of character considering the games aren't canon anyways, but even if it were, Iorveth, as a character, is special enough to be "that one time". He even has more screentime than Triss, and has way more chemistry overall.
Basically CDPR should have caved in and given us at least the option of having Iorveth as love interest, it would just add to the overall history of TW2 and give more depth to his route.
Enough with Iorveth shitposting! What happened to Saskia? Is she alive? Will she be back for the next DLC?
>He even has more screentime than Triss
I was kinda meh up until that point, but you've got a point there mate. And who's to say Geralt can't explore his sexuality? He was always held back by Yen, then by his faithfulness for Triss. It's time he broke free of the shackles of fate and destiny and explored this new side of himself. And who better to do it with than his loyal elf comrade?
Fuck Saskia. What happened to my spyfu?
How come nobody heard this loud fight in the King's tent
Triss offers no intellectual challenge She's merely a clingy cumdump too beta to show initiative in any aspect of her life. This reflected by her line of work, a king's loyal servant and lackey. Once freed Triss just doesn't know how to cope and seeks another basement to dwell in, another mum to prepare tendies and cheeky Nando's. Triss is a sperg.
Compare Yennefer. A mature woman of taste and refinement who shall quickly prove herself to be a test to any lonely teenager. Real men will surely handle her initial abrasiveness and quick wit, unlike boys. Unlike children. Yen Rand looks out for herself, for she believes in Reason and individual virtue.
This is why Yennefer actively participates in the free market of customs and takes risks, often failing, but ultimately for the better. Unlike Triss, a beta orbiter who needs welfare to survive.
Well, you never know, she could have gone hiding or left Vergen, or survived in other way. it's like an ancient rule in movies/telly shows, if you haven't seen the body, he/she are not dead.
>according to dandelion she's in vergen when nilfgaard invades and we know what happens there
He doesn't say that. All he does is say she doesn't gloriously turn back a Nilfgaardian invasion with a happily never after ending while scenes from a fantasy play out in the background. Why are people so shit at getting this kind of thing?
Not that the comics bear much thought. They're badly drawn, badly written, and make no sense at all.
>Saskia: Lol I'm a dragon now
>Yarpen and every dwarf in existence: Cool
>Iorveth: I must go now, my planet needs me
Ciri's the only one we get an exact height for (and I don't remember it). Everyone else is just broad descriptors, with Yennefer being noted as "even in heels, not impressively tall" and described as quite petite.
>yet she looks like she is as tall as Ciri.
She frequently levitates in cutscenes for framing purposes. Enable free cam for hilarity.
Grealt went to barber shop and made himself blonde
Funnily, blonde is actually Geralt's natural color.
Please fucking discuss something interesting, favourite location, lore, anything.
9/10 of the thread is taken up by some cunt jerking off to Triss and the rest by vague and pointless images that contribute nothing to the quality of the general.
Also fix Aard, make it useful.
Triss - 5'5''
Keira (was described to be petite) - 5'2''
Fringilla (also short) - 5'3''
In general, as for mages, I think only Phil and Sile are tall. I'd place them both in 5'8'' - 5'10'' range.
The tallest (except for elves) should be Dijkstra at 6'6''. He doesn't look that gigantic in the game, tho.
Why do we do these things to ourselves?
Yeah that Triss dude has really done the thread in.
TW1 Lakeside, for dat atmosphere.
TW2 Vergen and/or the Eternal Battle, for similar reasons
TW3 Skellige, Kaer Trolde. That fortress is fucking beautiful and the whole place feels like a breath of fresh air after Novigrad
Ciri is seriously destined for bad things in further games thanks to Falka's curse and the survival of the Weavess
Radovid and Philippa have a very undersold and potentially interesting relationship that could have contributed much to TW3's final act, reinforcing themes, contrasting with the relationship of the main family, and exploring the politics of the end of the war.
Iorveth's path makes more sense for Geralt than Roche's as he's always been sympathetic to plight of the elves even though he dislikes the Scoia'tael's methods. Also Iorveth is a more interesting character than Roche, especially since TW3 watered down his character a lot.
>The tallest (except for elves) should be Dijkstra at 6'6''. He doesn't look that gigantic in the game, tho.
That's because they made Geralt a giant too.
Fuck off Trissfag, that was a time honored piece of amusing copypasta.
Sweat, blood, and mucus, obviously
>Wait, when did they say what his hair color was before the trials?
It doesn't I don't think, but we have some small reason to think he was a ginger, since Visenna is a redhead.
I wish one of the endings would be Ciri turning to Dark Side, I mean embracing her inner Falka and going on a roaring rampage of revenge. Bonus points if we as Geralt can either be fine with it, ignore or put an end to the madness in for the greater god.
I am with you on Radovid and Philippa's relationship having lots of potential and getting the short end of the stick. I am okay with Phil killing Rad, but I would rather have their encounter longer and more dramatic than a short 'hi, let's burn your eyes out like you did with me, now die you scum!1' scene.
>S-so not lilac and gooseberries? ;_;
Of course not. Why would she?
>implying she'd adopt her mother's signature scent
>implying she even wears perfume
Saving that for sequels, I imagine.
>I am okay with Phil killing Rad, but I would rather have their encounter longer and more dramatic than a short 'hi, let's burn your eyes out like you did with me, now die you scum!1' scene.
The confrontation should be short and brutal, but more scenes for both of them would flesh things out much more. Also I think TW3 is hurt somewhat by deciding to limit itself to a single perspective for storytelling. TW2 utilized flashbacks and the PoV of other characters to give insight into things Geralt couldn't see. TW3 does not. Even the Ciri segments are just characters relating events to Geralt.
TW1: Lakeside, beautiful scenery and magical atmosphere as one anon said.
TW2: Vergen, I love dwarf cities
TW3: Skellige, I also love Scandinavian inspired places
I never get the fuss about Bonhart, and I think Vilgefortz turned to be a stereotypical evil with lust for power villain.
I knew all of Geralt's hansa are dead, but I was disappointed there was almost no (excluding gwent card and one random mention about knowing a guy named that) callbacks. I don't care that more than five years passed by, those people were important friends, brothers and sisters in arms to him who helped him reunite with Ciri. I'd mind if Regis miraculously came back or made a small cameo. Rather him than Letho.
How awesome would it be if Ciri turned to be the Big Bad of the whole series?
Would be way more fucking dramatic than the bad ending. Geralt having to put down his beloved daughter to save the world? Or don't give a fuck about said world just to spare Ciri?
Pretty sure red beats blond in inheritance due to being a mutated form of a particular kind of melanin instead of a lack entirely.
I wouldn't go that far, but she is pretty dangerous and there's lots of foreshadowing for it.
>The confrontation should be short and brutal, but more scenes for both of them would flesh things out much more. Ditto. Characters were far more nuanced in TW2 than in TW3. We get to know Sile and Phil, their motivations, their history and even silly trivia (Sile's penchant for makeup when fighting monsters, Phil's love for spanking pretty girls). Meanwhile Rita and Fringilla feel like extras who are just there to stare and look pretty. Same goes for Iorveth, Roche, Letho. Henselt was a great villain, too.
If she becomes Empress, she can embrace her Dark Side.
As a lone witcher, unless she pulls Bonhart and start hunting people for fun (and money), she would not pose a great danger.
>Characters were far more nuanced in TW2 than in TW3.
I wouldn't say that. The Bloody Baron is merely a supporting character in one quest hub and beats most of TW2's cast in terms of nuance. TW2's format did however allow it to showcase events in a more comprehensive way.
> Meanwhile Rita and Fringilla feel like extras who are just there to stare and look pretty.
Pretty clear cut content for Rita from what I've seen of earlier leaks. Fringilla will presumably get more in Blood and Wine.
Her danger does not come from political power. When possessed by Falka she could work devastating sorcery even independent of her Elder Blood bullshit.
>Care to share more about cut content from Rita?
She was apparently encountered much earlier, part of the initial Novigrad arc tied in to the Dijkstra's treasure/Dandelion plot. There would at some point be a choice that would lead to doing everything right and having Dijsktra pleased with you but Rita dead, or Rita rescued and Dijsktra's plans in shambles. I don't remember much more than that.
>Did they cut content from the rest of sorceresses as well?
Yennefer and Philippa have some. Yennefer originally gave most of the Lodge to Emhyr at the end of the game (though arranged for Triss to quietly escape. Rita might have been part of that as well, hard to say since she's assumed dead in the one cut dialogue I saw). Philippa could be either dead, or stuck as an owl, by the end, though I know little more than that.
>Yennefer originally gave most of the Lodge to Emhyr at the end of the game
I really wish they'd left this in. I can understand Yen doing anything to save Ciri when she asks for their help, but then handing them over to Emhyr at the end would have been a pretty nice payback.
She should have spared for those who voted to let Ciri meet with Geralt. Including Eilhart. I'd love if her ending would be to ditch the Northern Kingdoms and escape east, just like Dijkstra in the books.
Rita was nice to Ciri and apparently Yennefer's bestie, so she too should be spared.
*coughs up a cast of mice fur and bones*
>She should have spared for those who voted to let Ciri meet with Geralt.
Why? It didn't change their plans for her at all, nor were those their only crimes. Or the last crimes they'll commit. Eilhart in particular.
>Rita was nice to Ciri and apparently Yennefer's bestie, so she too should be spared.
Yeah I can't see her sending Rita to her death if she went out of her way to spare Triss.
>every family needs the bitchy aunt
Francesca is not bitchy enough. She's more of a passive aggressive kind, who will smile to you yet criticisms you behind your back.
Besides, Ciri would be all alone representing the LGBT minority at family events ...
Maybe Blood and Wine will make some mention, since it's in Toussaint?
>I'd mind if Regis miraculously came back or made a small cameo.
I think that would be lame.
>Besides, Ciri would be all alone representing the LGBT minority at family events ...
Well that IS how minorities tend to work. I'm sure Yennefer experimented at one point, anyway.
>you mean the holier-than-thou, i-told-you-so grandma with OCD?
So am I going to regret this build in next chapter
Nah mate, I just think she was acting like a high school student who cannot grasp the math and do homework so she starts rebelling. dire times call for dire measures, girl. no one has a luxury of sparing time and luxury for you, princess.
Is this easy to pirate? I've just upgraded my pc and Witcher 3 was a part of why I did that. I've got $10 in my account untill Tuesday. I've never pirated before because of ignorance but it must be worth it?
You might want to get riposte but otherwise, no
She was being treated like a child to the detriment of their efforts to stop Eredin. She was right to be angry.
I mean the scene when she is pissed that she cannot master her powers. Just before the snowball fight. Not when they are all discussing what to do next following Vesemir's funeral and everyone's forgetting her = treating like a child.
>I mean the scene when she is pissed that she cannot master her powers.
Oh no, she's frustrated at the difficulty of handling powers she absolutely must master for her own survival and that of everyone she cares about and expresses this with mild vocal annoyance and seeking comfort from her father figure that has nothing better to do. What a brat.
you picked the wrong option, didn't you?
>Do you think Ciri would willingly sleep with Skjall if not for the Wild Hunt?
>Do you buy it she was sexually/emotionally/romantically interested in him?
Fuck off namefag, this shit is harmless compared to all the Triss shitposting of the last few days.
Anons are naturally sympathetic to Skjall. He's a lonely insecure chubby neckbeard that never left home who just had a hot girl fall in his lap.
I chose the 'I prefer women' option in the sauna. I like to think she and that Bea innkeeper girl had something going on (but Bea was a true LUG and forgot about her experimenting phrase upon seeing an alpha man like Geralt)
