Also, Jeanne's the best Servant in the game by a long shot. It doesn't show up in daily grinds because everyone just wants to pump out as much damage as possible, but Arts-heavy teams with Jeanne around to block NPs and heal is probably the easiest way to hit way above your weight class.

It's definitely the best way I've found to clear those 50 NP event quests where you have to fight 10 Servants in a row.

What do you guys rate the FSN VN out of 10?

I feel the story is really good, and although the SoL food scenes serve a purpose it loses its "charm" in the routes not named FATE.

I'm finishing up HF, and there is so much talking about certain things that the reader should be accustomed to at this point. However, this is a novel, and I do not want to take points away for the novel having element that novels usually have just because I don't like it.

Pros:
The story is really good.
The characters are really good
Did a great job at world building
Character development is on point
Some intense emotional scenes
Great fights

Cons:
Villains were nothing special in each route
Shirou's ideals were overdone. We get it you want to save people.

I give it a full 10/10. Not because I think it is perfect (perfect media doesn't exist so reserving full marks for it is worthless), but because I think it's so enjoyable that its flaws are negligible in comparison.
Fate was a riot from beginning to end. Treat the entire VN is one arc, not three separate routes, and it's fantastic. The climax of HF is such a gloriously satisfying payoff that the entire trip is well worth it.

The only reason there are people who consider her bad now is because you can ZerkBuster team through the vast majority of the content with how high everyone's levels are. Before that happened, she was a god send to even have on your friend's list. A massive heal for the time, being able to completely avoid a NP's damage, and herself taking half damage from most classes while dealing 110% to everything but zerkers? There was a damn reason she was so sought after, and it wasn't just for the waifu factor.

Now? She's most often used is with Arts teams and when shit gets absolutely real. That seems to be the only time people seem to remember how damn good it is to be able to guarantee your party's survival for a couple more turns.
