Keep trying to install a cia of Pokemon Super Mystery Dungeon but every cia ive gotten has failed to install with FBI

what the fuck is wrong? every other cia I have works fine but I just get installation failed for this game.

I can install other games, already have, my databases are fine, I can install other games. Its just this one game that immediately fails. I tried to change my databese to empty ones before and I lost every game I had and my save files, Im not doing that again.

Yes, download .cia and put them into the sd root

Not really, but you should. Its easy, do this:

1. In sysnand, go to System Settings -> Other Settings -> Format System (Do not accept yet)
2. Eject your Sd card (don't worry, it is safe)
3. Accept to Format your 3DS/2DS (let it connect to the internet if it asks, it will not update your system)
4. After it reboots, go through the setup screen and set everything up
5. Once in the home menu, insert back your sd card and let it create some files on your sd card.
6. Your nands are now unlinked, and there are 2 ID folders in your Nintendo 3DS folder on your SD card (one for emunand, another for sysnand)

I injected FBI over the health and safety options, through both the RXtools auto booter and the website method, yet its still there.

I'm at the stage where I dump my nand and create an emunand.

I've dumped my nand. Made back ups.
I then made the emunand.

From there I tried to follow the instructions to install cakesfw.
For whatever reason I couldn't boot into menuhacks and I couldn't install cakes from the browser hacks.

So I've formatted the card and I'm going to start from the emunand step again.

Do I need to dump my nand again? (I'm guessing not)

And does someone know the best method to go from this step? Feel free to bully me, I'm an idiot.

I actually was able to load FBI through it, and then it gave me that error, so I loaded the eshop, it told me my SD card was fucked, so then I decided to go back, and WOOP. GONE..

Is this the end? I already have all of my eshop games gone, I'm really considering formatting again, and just sticking with vanilla homebrew.

Insert your old SD card in your PC
Open Emunand Tool and select "Extract EmuNAND"
Save it somewhere on your PC (as "emunand.bin" if you want)
Backup all your SD card files to your PC
Eject your old SD card
Put Gateway's launcher.dat on your new SD card
Format emunand on your new SD card via the gateway menu
Turn off your 3DS
Insert your new SD card in your PC
Open Emunand Tool and select "Inject NAND to emuNAND"
Select the emunand.bin you made in step 3 & 4
Close Emunand Tool when done
Put backup of SD card files (from step 5) on your new SD card
Done, emunand and files (saves, games, etc.) have been transferred to your new SD card!

I'm trying to access it again after downgrading but homebrew page doesn't load. It just shows a very small line at the top left of the page but doesnt load the exploit like it did on 10.3, at all

Completely new to this. I'm currently trying to get browserhax and menuhax to work. Downloaded the starter kit to my SD card, then scanned the browserhax QR code. It worked and tok me to the homebrew launcher. Is that all I needed to do for browserhax? Is browserhax permanent somehow now,, or what? Do I just install menuhax from browserhax now?

So I've been following the gbatemp guide listed and I am stuck trying to open cakes from homebrew. I just get a blank black screen - do I have to try at this a lot like the downgrade? On a n3dsxl for what its worth.

I use menuhax and ctrbootmanager to get into rxtools, but as soon as I turn the 3DS on, it freezes on the first jumbled color screen.
I tried removing both of my themes and reinstalling menuhax but it still isn't stable.

Oldfag here. I wouldn't recommend using 3.0. It has its merits, but as one can clearly see, it's missing some pivotal features that could make using it dangerous. I recommend you guys either stay on 2.6 or make an emunand backup, just in case.

That's weird, the emuNAND partition is about 1GB on O3DS. Try formatting your card and creating a new emuNAND. Also, you should seriously consider getting a bigger card unless you want to waste a lot of time transferring and installing CIAs.
