I used it 1.4 when I was smuggling shot from Delhi. The process took about 2hours and the auto docking served its purposes. Never once crashed or destroyed my asp. It's a nice little feature if you are doing long hauls because you can take brakes while it docks

Should i hunt in Controlled Lavigny RES sites with common reserves [the only ones that is controlled and is not depleted as of right now is common.]
Or bounty hunt in Major reserves, but exploited systems by Lavigny? would the 20% bonus in a common reserve surpass the juicer bounty of a major RES?
Getting the rank 2 bonus when the cycle ends, so for me it appears that Major sites with 50% [since apparently she will be Rank 1 when the cycle ends] with bigger bounties seens more profitable than 70% with a decent one, but i may be wrong and would like some insight of a experienced Lavigny bounty hunter

Normally, an A-rated Asp can sustain boost until FSD is recharged easily. Boosting when SCAN DETECTED usually gets you out of scanner range. If you want some extra security that the scan doesn't go through, target the SysAuthority and deploy hardpoints, that will have him cease the scan as well.

If all else fails, kill process.

Also when smuggling into a station, make sure you drop out of SC right in front of the station, this can be done by facing it directly, with the planet it orbits at your back.

When you engage another player and don't know what you are dealing with, you feel an addicting rush of adrenaline. And you want that rush again, and again. Help /edg/. I accidently sold my old shield generator and now I can't buy a new one because my Hull Mass isnt good. The problem is, my current mass is 245T, and everything I have on the ship doesnt weight more than 4T, so Id need to get rid of almost everything to get into the 138T range.

If you evade all interdictions or submit and run, and you're able to consistently run into the mailbox without getting scanned you're up for mad dosh.
It's not even frustrating after a while and you don't need to farm a faction.
Also i personally find RES farming boring because you have to get the right instance to do anything and i don't find killing npcs any more fun than being chased by spess dindus.

im going around bounty hunting and smuggling on the side, i just want some pro tips for combat.
i do alright most of the time but want some tips on positioning.
usually i use downward thrusters, pitch up, slowdown or reverse then boost after them to keep them circling me while i get shots on the topside of their hull. its not perfect most of the time and i only manage to get a few seconds of solid fire before they out manoeuvre me, not enough to get shots off but enough for to stop me having decent LoS.

Smuggling makes more money in the short term. Bounty Hunting makes more money in the long term. Unfortunately I don't want to wait 5 weeks to get a 50 million bonus every week.

But yeah, you just described the absolutely terrible system + RNG this game throws at its players. Last I checked, smuggling is all about stealth, not meeting the cops every five fucking minutes and FD doesn't understand that.
