It was noted once before that Sakura and Luvia have some odd compatibility, so if she was given to the Edelfelts instead, it would have worked out a lot better. Also their magic crest that Sakura partially has I think, allows the Edelfelts to have two heirs that sync up.

The voice acting and having animated PVs is nice, but those are precisely because it is Fate, not on its own merit in the slightest. Alright, I'll do the unthinkable here and defend the shitty gacha rates.
People like to compare it to games like Granblue, which potentially has 6% rates for their equivalent of a 5*. I don't think this is completely fair, for several reasons:
1. Most people run mono teams, and there's 5 different elements, so there's a 4/5 chance that the SSR you roll won't be useful for your main team. Not just Granblue, but a lot of mobile games do this, they make it easy to get your first SSR, but require you to get a full team of compatible SSRs before it's really useful. In FGO, any 5*, except maybe Orion, is versatile enough that it can be useful to anyone.
2. FGO has a really small pool of 5*s right now, so if there's one specific 5* you want, it actually evens out compared to games that have huge SSR pools where you're really likely to get an SSR you don't want. But if FGO eventually gets a pool of like fifty 5* servants without also boosting the rates, I'll eat my words on this one.
3. It's literally impossible to be so unlucky with your rolls that you can't clear everything in the game. Good rolls are just a luxury.
Not saying I wouldn't love to see them make it easier to get a 5*, but people who think this is the deep dark black hole of jewness in the mobage world are missing the point.

It's about mitigation. When people bitch that this game is trash because of the 1% rate, and how it is one of the worst gacha, they're simply stating facts. Popular mobage by and large abide by the 3% floor rule, so Fate is horrible on gacha. And if gacha type games are your thing, Fate is simply shit because of their obstinate jewness.
Increase it to what is more or less the industry standard, and now anyone bitching about egregiously trash rolls, well, you're not going to find better in other mobage, perhaps this genre just isn't for you. While that is true, you also gain a lot more from having several copies of the same card in a card game like that than you do in Grand Order. Each duplicate you get of your waifu in GO is diminishing returns, whereas each new copy of a chase Rare or Mythic you get makes your deck more consistent, up to four copies in Magic or three in Yugioh.

Depends on your Servant and team. If you have Tamamo, Medea Lily or Andersen you should be able to heal yourself enough.
It's a good CE for Mary & Anne too. The lower their HP is the higher their NP damage will be, though it's kinda risky as they might get accidentally killed.
Arjuna is also a good choice. His second skill heals you for several turns. 2k per turn at max level, so it's like the demerit doesn't even exist.

Seigfried, despite the jokes was pretty damn strong, he was the only one in Apocrypha who excited and matched Karna in the end. To the point that he was the only one he was ever excited to fight. Even Vlad couldn't excite Karna's will to fight in the end. No one else really gave Karna this kind of boner.
People want to frame it one way or another, but both of them were filled with countless cuts by the end of the fight that were healed over countless times as well. Also if there was any real gap in skill, then Karna would have just won, armor of Fafnir or no Armor of Fafnir. People also want to say "Well Armor of Fafnir is unfair, if Seigfried didn't have that he'd just be dead instantly, so he sucks". but Karna also had his armor on at the time, and it also saved his ass a few times in that fight. The fact that this guy was keeping up, getting hits in as well, and his skill was top class was enough to excite Karna's will to battle.
Seig was weaker in skill and ability than Seigfried as stated, however by piling on bullshit he was able to be stronger in the end for a very brief point.
Nothing can beat the power of bullshit after all.
Though a lot of us probably would have rather just seen Karna and actual Seigfried end their fight later on, rather than a copycat and Karna.
