I know there's a 10 day delay until I can get the QR code reader, but I feel like I'm missing something.

There are four fossils in your town every day- check behind buildings, trees and flowers for the missing one.

Get a net and fishing rod, and start practicing for when you unlock the island. Talk to all of your villagers every day and do all of the errands that they ask of you, it's a great way to get new furniture and fruit.

Is there any "easy" way to using acnl_editor without wanting to bite my sd card in half?

I tried using the wiki to determine the sizes of pwps, but trying to get building measurements right is such a nightmare. Every time I load up, hoping all is right, villagers are still drowning in the river or their homes are mashed together.

update: i settled on a map which is 4/10 but thats a lot better than literally every other map I've seen for the past hour so its fine. pretty good starting villagers, a bit sad about getting oranges (the only fruit i didn't want) but i think for the qt neighbors ill give it an honest try.

It's probably good it's not on /acg/ now. For a while there was a Skype group that people from /acg/ joined, they all knew what others looked like, fights broke out, lots of dating, rumors, etc.

I can't say it was a good thing at any point, but still interesting to watch from a distance. People seem a little less friendly as you get to know them, and the distance between people who come to /acg/ really makes it a bit more rosy and unrealistic compared to real life.

Cherries..

I am allergic to them in real life, and you can guess my look when after seeing how every other aspect of my town was perfect it was cherries that are my town fruit.

Ended up chopping down every cherry tree in town, and giving the only perfect cherry to a villager (Annalisa) when they said they wanted a cherry.

So let me get this straight if a villagers says he will move out at a specific date I can inv someone over so they can speak with that villager so they move into their town? Or do they have to do that on the day they are leaving?
