MHX is the first time I've played a fully Japanese game. I haven't actually had much trouble picking up on it. I can read a lot of monster and material names already.

Took me around 19 hours and 30+ soft bricks but that was due to the early software for downgrading and was easily fixable it just took alot of time. As long as you dont turn off your 3ds during the downgrading process and aren't a total retard you should be fine. If you want it to be easier just install browserhax and menuhax and wait on 10.3 until better downgrading software is made
