I'm running Cakes+NTR on 10.3. I can install games and updates without any issues through FBI, but I'm having trouble with Fire Emblem: Awakening's DLC

I already tried installing both through FBI and BIgBlueBox, but when I try to check for DLC, it says it can't detect my SD card. I already checked the region and both are US, the game and the DLC pack

Did anyone run into this?

When I got to the part where I install emunand9 and let it sit while it creates the nand backup, it mentions that I should unmount the SD card and backup everything in it because afterwards I'm going to wipe the card.

Yes, that's certainly possible. However, I don't see it happening anytime soon because DS virtual console seems restricted to DS. I don't think they have faith in the 3DS running them well. Either that or exclusivity reasons.

nand is just a type of memory. the 3ds has a nand, so does a wii, a ps3, a dsi or whatever. the firmware is in there.
Sysnand is the real one inside the system. Your system boots and it looks at sysnand. If that breaks, your system is a brick. It needs to be on an exploitable firmware to run CFW.
Emunand is a copy on the SD card. CFWs typically run on here because you can update it, install anything, and even if it bricks you can just make a new one no problem.

What is the point of updating emunand when .cia files are firmware spoofing anyway?

Do not update. Just format in the System Settings menu with the SD Card out. Make sure you've booted into SysNAND. Do that by starting the 3DS without the SDCard.

1) Boot without SD Card

2) System Settings > Other Settings > Format

3) Make sure your SD Card is out

4) Format

5) Turn off 3DS, Reinsert SD Card, reboot

6) Reinstall *hax of choice

7) Go to HBL and boot into emuNAND using your CFW of choice

8) Done

The emunand is literally a seperate NAND for your console running off of the SD Card. It is operating as the main memory for your console instead of the regular NAND flash on the 3DS.

This way you can keep your 9.2 sysNAND to keep the exploits running and operate everything out of the CFW.

Think of it as running a VMWare OS on your computer, in a manner of speaking. Your OS is self contained in the "HardDisk" created for it on your main computer. It operates within it's own environment ontop of the main OS (in this case the SysNAND). Everything you do in the VMWare OS (the emuNAND) will only affect that OS, and it won't affect the one running natively on your computer.

That is the benefit of unlinking.

I am having a very specific problem that no one on google seems to have a solution to.

Browserhax is hanging on a red and black screen as it boots on a certain 3DS, but working on other 3DS's.

No that doesnt work. rxTools 2.5.2 uses the firmware.bin and has the launcer in rxtools.dat. The newer versions use sometimes a folder architecture for the firmware.bin and the rxtools.bin has been changed to code.bin.

Guys I can't install FBI into my sysnand because the health and safety app went missing. I can boot into both sysnand and emunand I guess, but I want the FBI on sysnand too.

Is there a way to recover the health app or could you guys tell me another way to get FBI working on sysnand so I can install my GBA games there too?

emuNand works fine with everything except gba.

What build of rxTools should I use with N3DS?

Doesn't mean anything is wrong with using the emulators though.

I prefer the advantages they provide like save states, turbo (speed and autofire), custom sizing, etc.

However I'm not dying to play games on my 3DS so if they won't run at fullspeed I just won't play them (on it).
