2) delete any old hax payloads on SD card from when you were on 9.3+(if they're are .bin files on the root of you SD card delete them basically)

3)put starter kit and rxtools folder in the zip all on the root of your sd card

4)go to https://dukesrg.github.io/?rxTools/sys/code.bin in the browser so rxtools can install data for the first time.

5)once its done go into settings and choose "quick boot" and check it. now quit and this time run browserhax to install menuhax 2.1

6)once menuhax 2.1 is installed go to configurations and set it to autoboot. it will ask you to set a button to launch menuhax. tapping the touch screen is the autoboot option

7)turn off system and go download ctr boot manager from here

8)rename boot.3dsx on your sd card to boot_hb

9)take the boot.cfg and boot.3dsx from ctrbootmanager and put it on root

Did you format system memory before downgrading? Then you are fine.

That error happens when you:

Every attempt at downgrading gives me "an error has occurred" at restart after completion and I have to return to 10.3.0-28U.

On an old 3DS XL, I've got the 9.2.0-20U(Full) cia files in the updates folder, have tried all of the versions of sysupdater, I've tried doing it via menuhax and ironhax. No dice.

exactly what it says. N3DS emunand cant go past 9.5 because no one has cracked the encryption on 9.6+ for new3DS

It used to be but now there are plenty of work arounds. newer games coming out will require a minimum firmware above 9.5 to play them. shit like MHX and Triforce heroes require at least 9.9 among others. So you have to wait for firmware spoofed games that bypass these firmware checks.

Also you can access the eshop UNLESS you update your NVER and use Free Multi Patcher. No one really gives a fuck about this part since any game you want is readily availiable on the internet

they usually dont take long. on 3DSISO most people upload games and put RF/FS (Means region free/firmware spoofed) when they upload.

You can also do it yourself by downloading the .3ds version of games and using Simple 3DS CIA converter on gbatemp

So I installed everything up to rxtools and shits just not working.

I can't boot rxTools unless I hold my menuhax trigger on the CTRbootmenu and when in rxTools I can't boot my emunand and it hangs on a black screen with a white pixel occasionally on the lower left corner of the screen. (I think the pixel goes away if I hold L while booting into emunand but it still hangs on a black screen.)

Also I've lost all my legit games (cias?) from before the downgrade after I did the dbs glitch. Is that normal and if so is there anyway to get them back?

I have no idea what I'm possibly doing wrong. I fiddled around with the wireless slider, tried going through the FTP a couple of times and still nothing after I press Y.
