she is approaching good but the loss of both exorcism spirits and spirit spawn time was a tremendous nerf that makes her not really good right now

the most important thing imo is that she has a slow so you don't need to build phase boots. i always hated that dp needed to build phase boots, then sell them later for BoTs. Now you just keep browns until BoTs.

I have been experimenting with combinations of drums and blade mail. Euls is still very good. Blade mail is INSANE on DP. They have the choice of either dying to your spirits/siphon or dying to trying to kill you. A well timed DP entering into an early fight can completely wreck anyone, I've gotten two ultras with her already and only played her a few games.

You used to be able to save yourself a lot of the time by popping exorcism and self euls, but now don't ever waste it, in fact I try to spawn the spirits and then enter a fight several seconds later. They take like 7 seconds to come out at level 3, it was an overnerf and will be corrected.

Now that she doesn't have witchcraft, it should come back in the form of an aghs. The item would be naturally very good on DP sort of like a mini bloodstone which is why IF doesn't want to add it.

She can be played as a position 4 now, I laned with a gyrocopter and it was just absolute death. If they came close they got siphoned and died every time.

i think DP may be viable as a pos4 that builds guardian greaves, also, but i haven't tried it yet. aether lens can be good on her because you get way extended range on the best silence in the game (dp's silence is better than global because of its low cooldown, aoe and range)

I don't buy Mekansm on Undying because of the mana cost. and it doesn't really give him as much survivability as a glimmer can. Even if you they dust you when you glimmer it's still harder for them to nuke you.

Unless you've got almost perfect cs + a few kills in lane I always feel like Manta sooner is better though. I mean you can literally run away from bad fights with the movespeed, remove silences, dodge disables, push out other lanes or farm an extra jungle camp or two with manta.
