Look for the Red Skeleton, it drops a very nice sword. All you have to do is focus on your defense for 4 turns and then attack with full power every 5 turns (the enemy spends all its AP in 4 turns).

After doing this, you can easily grind to lvl 20 killing bees. Then, you can begin hunting those yellow named monsters.

The art is pretty decent and the gameplay is ok but I think his selling point is the accidental and partial exposure as well as fighting animation that isn't half assed.

I think the weakest part is that his games are incredibly linear. The lack of a pure route ruins the corruption.

I had a go at making a full translation for RJ150632 Salvation by Clymenia. I tested it on the 1.06 version that's linked in the GOTW pastebin, so it definitely works with that, but newer versions shouldn't be a problem either.

I wasn't aware that the 1.07 version added any new content besides bugfixes, but yeah, it's for 1.06.
If the normal decrypt RGSS-> overwrite data files method breaks the game, it should still be possible to apply the RPGmakertrans patch (which is included in the folder). It should only replace all the text that were already in 1.06 and ignore any lines that were changed or added.

Alternatively, if anyone can drop a link to the 1.07 version I can see about making that work.

It's not the fully patched game but only the data files. You have to patch the game yourself by overwriting the data folder with the translated data.

You might have to grind quite a lot since you'll have to beat the final boss without ever getting any of the free levels and high level abilities from upgrading your class level, though. What version are you on? A missing graphic error could be because of a conflict between the version of the translated data and the game. Salvation is actually really good with this, almost every NPC has multiple lines for each character depending on their level of exposure and their class. I had a look, and I think the scene you're referring to is called "Warden Hunt's expedited trial" in the recollection room. IIRC it occurs after you get arrested by Soldier Greg in Socius during a playthrough. Greg doesn't have a scene of his own. Anyway, the scene itself works fine on my end.

Many of the mini-events aren't repeatable in normal gameplay, by the way, that's why the recollection room is there.

Don't get me wrong, I've enjoyed VH over the years too, but if someone took it into their own hands to finish up they're going to have their work cut out for them just completing all the half-finished things already there.

I really don't expect anyone to want to do this. Age of Garnet is a perfect example of a western made hrpg and last time I checked the only thing happening with it was one guy fixing bugs, not actually adding any new content at all. Which is a shame, it had the chance to be a great game, and there was a pretty enjoyable ss scene.
