1st for best girl
Do I blame Monolith for some of this writing or 8-4 who may have localized some shit wrong?
On multiple occasions through normal and affinity missions, people have refereed to others who've gotten thier mims destroyed as dead. To the point where some lady wanted to hold a funeral for her dead husband. From what I understand everyone already believes that the lifehold holds thier original bodies and they're just asleep and hooked up via wifi to thier bodies. And if they die they can get a new mim (i.e, the irina affinity mission).
Anyway after the ending twist, which I assume wasn't kept secret. It's revealed that there are no bodies in the lifehold and you wont be coming back because the consciousness system was also destroyed (cue X files sound). Anyway It would make sense then for people to value thier lives so much then and mourn over deaths etc. But the amount of times death feels too "real" for people who believe they wont even actually die is annoying and I want to know if I should blame the localization or Monolith.
Also, that one lady who was asking whether or not mims can have children. U wot? Am I to believe literally every human wasn't briefed on their capabilities before/after being activated?
>Am I to believe literally every human wasn't briefed on their capabilities before/after being activated?
Do you know how processors handle multiple threads?
Do you know how stack based computing works?
Do you know how a CD drive reads a disk?
Do you know how to type on a keyboard?
Even if you use something every day and it's a big part of your life, you can still just not know about how it works.
>spend 10 minutes attempting to break sharnaark's shoulder for his unique weapon
>dropped with shitty augments
God fucking damn. Whose idea was it to make his shoulder have more HP than he has himself?
Dude I'm talking about basic capabilities.Do you know how your neurons work exactly? How much memory your brain can store? Most people dont.
But they know whether or not their bodies can reproduce.
That does not excuse wanting funerals and people needing to be avenged like you'll never see them again.
It would make more sense in the post game if that info go out that you actually wont be coming back. but to expect the same amount of tension for people how thing they're getting 2 chances at life (who almost ever bring it up when someone dies) isn't what I'd call good writing.
So what's all this shit about not getting real bodies again? I just beat the game and I'm letting the credits go through. Is it something post-credits? Or all of you a bunch of Doug-faggots?
teh randomly generated are other players Mims, so they might or might not have good stats, but if you play with em, you will get medals that you can use to far a lvl 30 thelethia when you are grinding for parts for ARES 90
>need to be level 30 for next chapter
>try to get to the spot an anon posted in a previous thread to grind
>no idea where it is
>almost lose my skell twice on the way to Cauldros
Fuck. Where should I grind? Only have one skell everyone in my party is 27 except HB who is 23.
Proficient Partners for the data gathering in noctilum (just gather items from skell wreckages, no fights involved)
A Challenger Appears for the fights (go into their Oblivia headquarters, first you'll have to fight delicious catwoman tho, she can be tough with all her Decoys, skell weaponry seems to miss her a lot)
Completing these quests will also unlock the Six Stars wrothian joint AM for you.
Buy a Buster back weapon and go grind some of the noctilum puges/drone quos in the base just near the entrace to the tainted place where you get the alien mech.
Hes not 30 yet the G-Buster is a 30 skell weapon. his best bet for now are heathorns and hoping the drone quos and puges drop good beamsabers.
Can you even get the Ares before beating the game?
I'd recommed getting a level 50 skell for yourself for the final chapter, since it helps a lot.
After beating it, go straight to Ares, since it helps with grinding everything else you will want to get in the postgame.
Streaming decision. They have lag.
The server simply has their data cached because he has to use it to calculate what the real person would do.
Imagine nothing was destroyed, you think the server would need to be always poking the db to function? That 's retardation 101.
In fact i believe that is also the answer to why yelv and cross have no memories, they didn't have everything about them cached.
And the mim's that didn't activate on mira were simply not cached.
>In fact i believe that is also the answer to why yelv and cross have no memories, they didn't have everything about them cached.
I imagine that Cross and Yelv are the real Not-Realians of the game
So in Doug's last (post Chapter 12) Heart-to-heart he talks about people maybe still getting their real bodies.
Does he not know? Does Elma not tell anyone else? We know that at least Elma, Yelv, and Nagi know.
as far as I known/ thing. the last plot twist happens AFTER you even get the game 100%
so time line is
that might also explain why there are no riots everywhere
I just noticed that in the Gamepad screen, on the top right corner (where you have Scout Rewards, Division Spoils, etc), there's two unused spots to the left of Nemesis Results.
What are those for?
So there's another plot-twist? Or are you saying that everything post-game is canonically between Ch. 12 and the epilogue cutscene?
And I guess they technically still have "human" DNA just not the DNA for people specifically.
So /xbcx/ how do I customize an Urban Lincoln to surpass Ares 90?
>about 300 kills of Durvin already
>still barely any weapons to show for this, and even the best are mediocre
>So there's another plot-twist? Or are you saying that everything post-game is canonically between Ch. 12 and the epilogue cutscene?
I guess, there are some affinity mission are are restricted to after game. and when elma goes to the data chamber it seems that was been some time.
It hits three times and gives GP on each hit. Cooldown is only 20 seconds.
Pic related is on my skell with a beam focus.
Amedusias can also one shot bosses, why do people forget that? Hell the Zenith cannon can't even one shot telethia anyway teh superweapon drones on the other hand can.
Yes the Urban can be able to one shot bosses seeing how the Police skell can do the same thing with a level 30 drillpile.
Do extra appendage damage, the shoulder has more health than he does.
Xe-doms are basically kill it before they kill you, bonus if they got that bullshit relfect damn near every element. The one time I had to build augments for a boss during the story mode. Well I'm still in story mode.
>be NLA citizen
>oh noooooo oh my gooooood
>oh wait i guess he's still alive in the lifehold, i'll work hard until we can meet up.
>man i sure am glad they found the lifehold, i'll organize a welcome back party for my husband
>wonder when they'll start getting people out, lifehold's been found for a while.
;_; thinking about all the people who get over their grief from their mim-friends dying only to eventually, inevitably have to deal with the fact that their mim WAS their only body and because elma's plan was dumb there's no way to bring them back
Hope you come up with something better than I did. Takes me 5 min to kill by surviving with a reflect aura and spamming shrapnel.
Fucking Elma I mean,
Let Lao deliver data to Ganglion
Shoot him, slight risk of damaging data, and be able to apprehend Lao. Even if the data gets damaged it's better than the Ganglion knowing where the core is
Monado > X
Skells are fun and everything but I've yet to have a single balanced fight with skells/dolls/memes, and ground combat is painful. Trying to sneak past enemies also feels worse; either they won't notice you EVER or they spot you from a mile away while they're underground/flying off in the distance, and they just won't fucking let up when you try to run, which is a problem when enemies levels are not balanced ANYWHERE and collectibles are even rarer than before. In Monado, you can backslash a level 7 enemy and be done with it if you're redoing low level quests later on, but you have to do an entire fucking combo to kill a tiny enemy many levels below you. Oh, and good equipment is a rarity at any level in X. I assume at level 60 you start getting pieces of equipment with 3 empty slots, and I also assume that BS pieces of equipment needed to get them are easier to come by then too; meanwhile Monado not only has plenty of open slotted pieces of equipment, but also has a much better way of crafting augments/gives some rare pieces without MMO tier grinding. I'm sure I could think of more given time.
Story, you only get two characters with you who speak during any story mission. You find L, notice his funny accent, bring him back and never speak with him again except about opening a tiny store. Indeed, you have over a dozen one hit wonders like him. And the player never REALLY gets any interaction, Elma may as well be the main character with how much you have to bring her "bad AI that never backslashes from behind" ass and how much her decisions decide the story.
Visuals are another thing. Block hair would get a pass if this was also a Wii game but it's a Wii U game and I haven't seen a single hair movement. Walking through an area and nothing loads until you've passed it is also unacceptable. I also liked the armor designs of the previous game, and they also missed the chance to make a skell that looks like Mechonis/Bionis.
Tatsu said it best: Meh!
A lot of important words got scrambled up here, Professor B.
I know enemies have certain % resistances, but do they also have flat damage reduction defense? I'm trying to figure out the autoattack damage calculation and nothing it working out exactly. As far as I could tell it was simply Weapon Attack + (Attack Power / Ammo) and this seemed to be correct, except my autos are consistently doing ~5-15 less damage than the calculation suggests, testing on low-level enemies that have 0% resistance to my weapon types (according to the spreadsheet).
I want to just chalk it up to a flat damage reduction but even that would be inconsistent since it seems to be reducing my melee attacks by more than my ranged attacks, despite using phys weps for both of the tests.
>reducing my melee attacks by more
Oops, I meant to say "by less". This was assuming that Melee Attack gets divided by 2 for dual-weapons. If it doesn't, then it's reducing it by more than it is for ranged, and either way makes no sense. Fuck.
this is for the faggot who said this bridge gets destroyed after the Zu Pharg fight
Why is Mia so fucking cute?
All of her H2H's so far is her trying to do missions on her own. I have a feeling her last one is her opening up about not needing me as her "Chief" anymore or something
>Trying to sneak past enemies also feels worse; either they won't notice you EVER
Is this tied to level or something? I literally walked through the entire ganglion cauldros base unspotted during chapter 11 while level 60.
First you put verus armor on the Urban.
Pump meele augments and choose to specialize in one element. Make sure your meele accuracy for the skell is around 500-550 so you can hit everything.
damage formula in op is wrong, that's why I'm doing it. It doesn't even mention the effect of ammo, and the only thing it's incorporating that I'm not is modifiers and a 5% damage variation, neither of which is important to the testing I'm doing.
Wrong bridge family.

What are some things that you wish were in the manual?
>if you are ever disconnected from the server, save then go to settings and go to the title menu. If you don't immediately connect upon continuing, the servers may be offline.
Also, what did you guys do/plan to do in game today? I explored Noctilum with my all shield barrier posse.
Im level 48, trashed my heavy skell i have enough to buy it back since i have money to buy a lvl 50 skell but i want the heavy armor one so ims saving for another mill.
>mfw i cant beat chapter 11 with my medium skell for elma
Not that bad. I hit 58% with just exploring with my skell. Granted I was max level traveling with 4 level 50 skells. Got flight today though.
What's the best looking heavy armor set? That's not too spiky or otherwise over designed?
After the mission where
you hunt down a serial killer who murdered Murderess's parents back on earthLao's point is a lot stronger. Seriously what the fuck is wrong with BLADE when connections can get you on the last bastion for humanity's hope regardless of how much of a scumbag you are.
go to FN 504, from there there is a narrow path that ends up in a ganglion fortress where everything 1 hit kill you.
If you are sneaky/ jump from the right place with your skell, at the end of the cliff of the fortress is a warp pad.
use it and you get teleported to the giant things that float in the sky., go from one to other and get in the teleport pad. that will transport you back to the ground on another location. then explore...
>enemy BLADEs you fight during quests are actually in the mechanoid category
If the servers are
destroyed then it doesn't matter what was in the cache because there's no cpu to process it
Cpu > registers > l1 cache > l2 cache > ram > physical.
All the mims work because
the planet is magic
You're at the same place as me, so I did this and levled twice in under half an hour:
Noticulum, FN Site right on the cliff of the taint, jump off cliff, take left, kill Dino thingys, once level 30, oblivia, balance rock/south shore, Dino thingys and dog thingys.
>which I assume wasn't kept a secret
Yeah right. It sure as heck was or it would cause mass panic.
>Am I to believe literally every human wasn't briefed on their capabilities before/after being activated? >>127386035 sounds logical to me.
Is there anything radically different between the lv50 and lv 30 skells besides stats? I played around with all the lv 30 ones and my favorites were leilah and formula, with the veerus up there too. I just dont see a reason to save up for the 50 amdusias this time when i can afford my favorites already.
Also is that thermal sniper rifle superweapon you can craft any good. Its the first skell weapon recipe i found but numberwise it doesnt seem special really. My lv 30 sniper seems to match it
It was. Granted I was rolling in dough and had bought myself a level fifty Amdusias, and I gave it a Prime level G-Buster and some other sword which was Intergalactic, with a thirty second cool down. Anything below me was destroyed in one or two hits. But I fucking mopped the floor with the Zu Pharg and the Vita.
>Decide to roll inferno as my first 60
>Its overdrive boosts ranged, lets stack that shit
>All of its armor is melee-focused
Why the FUCK don't they list fucking equipment when you make this shit?
>tickling a computer causes it to give you the information you need
The fuck is this
>tfw a memewalking blossom dancer outdamages my skell
I feel my penis shrink everytime. How do I fix this?
Dude the planet blew up and humanity was on the brink of extinction. It wouldn't be out of the question to believe that they rushed the whole thing to save as many as they could without educating them all considering they probably didn't even have time to educate in the first place.
Finish the story anon
There wasn't THAT much of a rush. Elma came down and gave humanity a good amount of time to prepare. And Lao said that they were already taking people of high class and all. Plus the game takes place several months after landing on an alien planet.
Damage control all you like, asking some random mediator whether or not your body can produce children when there should have been ample time to fill in humanity on their current situation is bad writing.
But I don't want to use the most trustworthy skell.
Are attribute damage augments better than range/melee attack up ones? And what does potential really do for skells? I don't see it anywhere in the manual.
>Damage control all you like, asking some random mediator whether or not your body can produce children when there should have been ample time to fill in humanity on their current situation is bad writing.
The problem is that you're using literally one NPC
Literally one person
To represent all of humanity as somehow not knowing that mims can't reproduce
If you read another NPC conversation you'd know that there are people who are in relationships who know mim's can't reproduce, heck I think it's even one of Lao's mandatory affinity missions
I want to hug them
>There wasn't THAT much of a rush
30 years. how long do you think it took an fucking alien to get to earth and convince people that 2 armies were about to kill em all rather than kill her and dissect her?
Why would there be one? You seem the think "all of humanity" is particularly big when they dont even number over 100,000. And since she wasn't a kid it was doubly stupid.
Not to mention no one arguing against my point about the holding of funerals and labeling people as "dead" when as far as they know they're coming back. Again, there's a problem with this game's writing.
Clearly it was ample time since almost every majorly advanced city made an arc. Elma was able to teach her new tech in that amount of time and they were able ti implement mims, skells and the whole DNA reincarnation shit.
It's not like you'll know who they are until they show up.
Or after, as is the case with me. And I thought the discussion was about the bosses, since the post you quoted was talking about zoo park.
>And since she wasn't a kid it was doubly stupid.
You don't have to be a child to be ignorant.
>Not to mention no one arguing against my point about the holding of funerals and labeling people as "dead" when as far as they know they're coming back.
This is true. I mean, maybe it's a spiritual thing or maybe people don't really believe in the lifehold, but these maybes are just speculation so this statement is fair game.
Did you find the two of them by walking around, right?
The third one is held by an enemy Milsaadi, who is just outside the passage leading to the area with the giant level 84 tyrant (where the second key was).
Not him, but none of the land bridges are broken in my game either. I've seen people mention it, but it never happened in my game. I did beat the boss quite quickly though as I was already overpowered by then.
there is a sanity buffer for visual/aural cloaking similar to the agility scaling in xc. it's like 10 levels wide? i think.
but jump-scares like stuff that looks like plants
or a statueignore level and pounce.
I've been using bastion warrior for everything all game mixed with dual guns. Basically overloaded on hp / defense and evaision with ghostwalker. Unhitable and endless taunts keep my party alive.
So how exactly do "melee combos" work? I'm using Fast Forward and Supreme Sword while in my Skell/Doll since I only have melee weapon arts because RNG. Are they just when you do a soul voice correctly? Sometimes the cooldown goes down by 50% when I do that but more than often nothing happens.
I have thought about it, but believe it or not, it's made me quite popular. I routinely get 10 to 20 followers a day and now have over 786 followers on miiverse. It has greatly improved my miiverse enjoyment. So I feel like I owe the tyrant turkey post my support.
Is it different for Skells/dolls? I'm using my Beam Blade/Buster Blade back to back whenever I came and it's not activating. Tried just using Beam Blade twice without another art and the skill didn't activate still.
Skills don't affect skells except for Synchrony. For Fast Forward on ground combat, when you use a melee art (orange arts or green/purple/blue cast with a melee weapon), the following art of any type, even ranged, will start at half cooldown. Supreme Sword works the same but the next art will do more damage.
Can be any color except yellow. I often do Green melee buff into yellow range art to give the range art Fast Forward and Supreme sword bonus.
Well triggering cockpit view in skell combat resets all cooldowns. Besides that when fighting multiple enemies, Elma has a melee soul voice after killing one enemy that reduces recast time by 50%. I don't remember if that's main CD or secondary CD.
holy fuck my sides are nearing the outer edge of the galaxy
Ah I see. That soul voice might be it. Is there any trigger for the cockpit view or is it totally random?
>the fuck is this shit, some autistic kid acting like Luigi or something
>burst into treats
God damnit Anon, how did you find this?
>actually noticing how good or bad your party members are
>not just doing everything yourself
I think Nagi's the only that impressed me because whenever rexoskell killed me the guy was at full hp still holding on like a boss
Hell, my headcanon is now that Nagi is the Hero from the opening sequence, fucking best bro
So how do pets work?
I'm at barracks customization, and I have a silver tabby and an abyssinian (whatever the fuck that is) to choose from, and when I pick either one, I don't see it anywhere.
I know I need a cat for Elma, so what do?
That's what I meant by "destroy their petals", I tried farming them that way but it's still a horrible drop rate.
I'd love to, but when I'm looking to make 3 Art TP Gain XX's = 96 white mortifole feathers, it looks rough
>I'd love to, but when I'm looking to make 3 Art TP Gain XX's = 96 white mortifole feathers, it looks rough
Hey man, I got 3 TP Gain XX's SOLELY and EXCLUSIVELY through tickets. If I can do it, you can too.
This works way too well, Monolith totally planned this
>buy full orphean evasion gear
>still get hit
I was lied to
my ebony cutie with her recent bought skell
If farming for Advanced Cores, which is the easiest Xe-dom to fight? And would a team of level 50 skells be enough to take one down?
It's been a while since I attempted to fight one, but I remember getting wrecked by one around Lake Ciel.
What do the emblems under the mini map represent? Does that just mean I have someone else running around in my 'online' squad who is part of another division and so I get whatever bonus that's listed? Also once in a blue moon, my division emblem glows yellow. What does that mean?
Also i see a lot of clocks on the mini map in NLA, which I assume are rest stops, but there's nothing there when I got to the area, what the heck is going on?
Finally, the game mentioned you can re-fight old enemies. I'm only at Chapter 7, so is this something they throw out later in the game. Or am I missing something in the barracks?
Appreciate any help
That's not Inferno
>Forget to the do the Boaz recruitment quest
>Have a lvl 50 Inferno
>When the mob battles begin I just use the beam gatling gun where they all die which causes battle mode to end before the next wave respawns and the arts to reset.
>Killed at least hundred of each monster before the time limit expired
It was a glorious battle
I had a similar experience with a ground battle
>Mission: Protect Prof B from waves of enemies
>Activate overdrive, clear a wave
>Party starts clapping
>Next wave of enemies spawn and start clapping with us
And I figuratively already waded through that cease pool where information was vague as fuck or non existent, especially on the clocks and symbols under the mini map in how they work. (Unless you think gamefags is reliable.
Well that makes sense about the benches, I assume the time attacks also give you enemy drops. Noticed some drop info is missing from enemy bosses. That would be a dick move if you couldn't get them back.
It's up to you to make Team Rabbits
There's no better default set for clearing mobs of enemies or toppling big monsters for binding.
Obviously they aren't the top of the line for big game Tyrant hunting, but a squad of them is a perfect workhorse for daily work.
>Can't leave primordia in the prologue
is there some special monado purge you can use in a skell
in telethia's phase 3 he can't be hit
My cute mim also. Those black glass are my favorite.
forgot my image
not that anyone cares much about the blog of a ghostwokker fag anyway
Because I'm a stubborn asshat, I've been using the same avatar, Elma, Lin and Lao party setup for pretty much the entire game. Now that I'm on Chapter 9, I simply can't beat Ga Jiarg with only 3 party members. All of the other optional party members are well below level 20.
What would be a good way to grind?
I'm not sure if they made Zaruboggan
Their creators looked like humans, and Goetia is what the one known Samaarian looks like
But as usual they can retcon and find loopholes in anything they feel like changing
That is what I don't understand
She calls herself Ganglion and her race is listed as Ganglion in her file unless I am mistaken.
But Elma calls her a Samarrian witch.
So I dunno.
it looks to me like it just says Ganglion command
and Ganglion race doesn't make sense anyway, it's an organization. You can say someone is Russian or Communist, but they're actually human
That's why the Ganglion can be killed by Human DNA but Ganglion-ruled Prone can't.
The Ganglion is an organization headed by the Ganglion. Weird, yes, but it's like if BLADE was called "Humans". The Man-on that are BLADE members would now be Human members, but not part of the Human race that founded it.
The conclusion here is that the Ganglion are shitty at naming things.
>Get cockpit view
>Use beam sword then back sword
>Use that same combo again
>Overdrive keeps extending
Is this normal or was the fact that I was the only team member alive factor into this?
Skell overdrives boost the cockpit view chance dramatically and as long as you're not retarded keeping overdrive extended in a skell is really easy (unless you get toppled or some shit)
So yeah that's about normal.
Honestly probably to make up for the fact that ground overdrive kicks skell overdrive's ass.
does anyone know if leva-el or any of the other xerns can drop a holofigure? there's no documentation on figs anywhere that I've seen, which sucks since it's braindead easy to check them for anyone who has them
>accidentally stumble upon the pod you come out of at the start of the game
>there's a big tyrant skell fucker with his mates there
Ranged damage, and Mastema50/60 have enough firepower to 1-shot tyrants when built well.
Really not all that interested in heavy Skells except Ares90, Amdusias50 is definitely good for mowing down crowds/farming but it just can't keep up with Lailah in sustained combat.
Does it at least pull the Metal Gear Solid approach and make it so that the voice actors are talking in Japanese, it's still referred to as English in-game, like when L says he's speaking English?
Speaking of Leva'el, is he or Vortice supposed to be the boss of Cauldros?
Leva'el is always present like the other bosses and unlike Vortice, who is only around in fire rain. Also, he has more phases, just like other bosses: Nardacyon is summoned and ejects the pilot for 3 phases, Gravidus ejects parasites you have to fight, Telethia goes to the ground and back up, and Pharsis has energy charge>dark ray, which might not totally count but she's obviously Sylvalum's boss
But on the other hand, Leva'el isn't on the map and I think doesn't count for survey %
On holofigures, Leva'el drops Xern, and Vortice drops Colubrim B. Neither of these really fits with the other 4 who all drops figures named after themselves, but it may be possible that other Xerns drop Xern, while nothing else drops Colubrim B.
Actually, I think Pharsis also has a HP recover phase, it's just not as clear-cut as the others since there's no warning text and no blatant invincibility. Not that it's even important to this
>fighting cat xeno furry fucker's Robots

Went from level 30 to 50 within 30 minutes, and I've already mastered half of the classes. Fuck there is some broken stuff in this game.
Setting up your FN probes to where you get 50k-150k credits every 15 minutes.
Then play the game for 6 hours straight. I bought one once I turned level 30, made the rest of the game pretty easy from thereon out.
>cant afford something
>I'm the idiot
Just get loads of research probes so you can fly like me
>Need to level up a class
>Averaging 2 class levels per kill
What are my other options? Different ships that probably got blown up or blowing up along with the earth? Dying on earth would be spretty symbolic; spent all my life here, might as well die here. But dying in space means my corpse could potentially be preserved forever in the void of space.
Let's suppose I want to live in New Los Angeles. The short stories released don't paint a positive light on life on the White Whale during it's transit. Living on the ship would be a god damn nightmare with scarce resources and organized crime that the administration allows to continue because it's seen as a necessary evil. Then you actually crash into Mira after 2 years or so of pure spaceship bullshit, so that probably fucks you up. Then you have to survive the initial settlement (lots of shit happened in 2 months before Cross rocks up) before anything starts to resemble normalcy.
If I were to live in New LA, I'd be a Pathfinder, set up as many probes as I can with some help, then spend my days getting rich off Frontier Nav while not leaving the city. Anything else is suicide.
>forced to let all these disgusting Xenos live in NLA
What the fuck? It's bad enough that we had Mexicans take over Old LA, but now we're humanity's last hope and we're going out of our way to go extinct.
Please annex us Ganglions. We do not deserve to live. Our species is weak.
Getting shot in the dick for chump change after a mission. The living conditions up until New LA is actually settled on Mira. The chance that even if you're just a citizen you'll probably end up as a casualty of some delfinian plot or something.
Other than that it'd be neat.
>but now we're humanity's last hope and we're going out of our way to go extinct.
>implying humanity isn't already extinct and that we're not just their phantoms bumbling about aimlessly
Probably around the time you get a few level 50 skells.
Biggest problem with the Joker is he has pretty high evasion, but a mob of level 50 skells with phenoixes and G2 busters will wipe out his bug army in seconds
Things the Xenos do that Mexicans don't:
1: Improve the efficiency of our machines by double or more
2: Eat toxic waste and poison for us
3: Can't breed with us
Also New LA is doing the smart thing and letting the Xeno political representative represent Xenos while Humans represent and make laws for themselves.
Humanity can't go extinct if these Xeno's can't make degenerate half-brreeds with them.
Only place on the internet I found that has a list of research probe locations.
For those of you faggots that looked up on youtube how to easily level up here's what I found about the spot in this video: https://youtu.be/HsXK8ZzCLbA
>at 38 with 2 of the Skells/Dolls recommended and the basic one you are given it is difficult to kill one without losing a mech or 2
>your scythe has a socket so put a Mechslayer 9 or 10 in it to boost your chances
>remember to change class to something non max level to boost it along side
at 40 it became MUCH easier. Going to stop at 41 since I want a decent challenge during the story and not just a faceroll through the campaign.
>tfw couple of party members haven't leveled up at all
>take them to the joker with my higher level skells
>the sound of all those exp and level ups in one go
It's time xbcg, tell me your crackpot theories of what the fuck is Mira
also what's the best longsword I can find in the game? currently have a mighty glaive but it looks like shit
>It's time xbcg, tell me your crackpot theories of what the fuck is Mira
Mira's a zoo, L's the zookeeper
>sectioned off into different climes that should not be capable of existing so close
>dozens of diverse types of wildlife all roaming around
>L is not like any species seen on the planet but has been there for ages; his thirst for knowledge involves witnessing all these species interacting.
Crazy theory: Mira is God's prison
Realistic theory: a planet the Samaarians tried to create, but backfired and forced them to abandon the project
>essentially solo it since Lin and Elma are horrible pilots and HB is underleveled as fuck since I use Nagi
>one level 30 Heavy Skell took down something literally over 100x it's size
Fuckin' hell this game is crazy
Yeah I read one about mira being purgatory, sounds like bs but when you factor in L's full name it does seem kind of ominous. Also wonder if his name in every language is L'cirufe exactly as we say it, or his name is different in every language and its always something close to lucifer, since mira is constantly translating for us there's no way to know for sure.
>All those fucking numbers all at once
also humans who only spoke english as a second language and had accents, upon arriving in mira did they lose the accent and started sounding natural as if it was their native tongue or do they still sound weird? A spanish person could just try to speak spanish and others would understand it as english because of mira?
yeah but when he talks in english in front of nopon and ma-non, they hear his english as their own language, when he says his name out loud, do they hear something that sounds like their equivalent of lucifer or do they hear "L'Cirufe"? That's what I mean.
>basic training mission
>mfw BTFO Gwin with my G-Buster in one hit
yeah for people who in the quest sort of request an honorable duel like this and that one Wrothian I usually beat them on foot to be as fair as I can be because no way im letting my party leave, gotta grind that affinity
It's so fucking stupid that your character doesn't get an option on wether to protect Lao or not, how hard was it to ask the player wether they want to protect him or not, even if the outcome wouldn't change at all, I wouldn't have stepped in, so why should my character do it?
>this is my party's fuel
>Lin has almost an empty tank
>me and her are both in the same type of Skell, I'm also flying and attacking way more
The fuck are you doing? Really why is she using so much fucking fuel, this is after I threw 5k miramium to refuel a smidgen of the tank
>AI partner is shit at binding making them never refuel their skells
You're likely attacking appendages, which gives 250~ fuel each break
The AI likely is not breaking anything for appendages and doesn't know it shouldn't use g-buster every time it's off cooldown instead of waiting
Mira's a nursery to ensure the survival of mankind and propel us into position to forge our own interstellar empire. It gets filled with all sorts of alien species which are capable of co-existing with humans and which have advanced technology we can benefit from (and they're willing to share it!). It traps the Ganglion so they can't call for reinforcements. It is chock full of an all-too-convenient miracle ore that can fulfill all our needs. I would guess that the Vita was a mech used by someone who opposed the Samaarians and lost (which would explain why the Ganglion revere him and why the mech was completely trashed and abandoned there).
Remember how Elma made a comment something like "unless someone can prove the existence of souls, all you are is data"? Well that line was there to clue you in on the ending twist. Souls DO exist, and they're being bound to the mims by something in order to ensure humanity can survive and regain their flesh bodies. The barrier trapping everyone on Mira will disappear when humanity acquires the technology and population density required to not get raped by that other alien civilization we saw in the prologue.
>which gives 250~ fuel each break
Shit, do they really?
I'm probably worse than the AI, I use whatever is up even if it's obviously the enemy will die in 1 auto attack
Does binding restore fuel? If so I never knew that either
how many hours have you guys logged in?
I have 107 hours and I just got my Ares90
112 hours. Still don't even have a lvl 60 skell, but just reached lvl 60 myself today.
>I brought Lana back to Bubu after telling Walolo the baby is just a doll
>turns out Lana now has the hots for Bubu because he is pissed and therefore manlier in her eyes
>Walolo is like 'woah, girls a crazy, I stay single from now on'
How does the other storyline end? I'm interested but too lazy to reset the entire story line for it.
Just finished chapter 12.
Had to much exploring every inch of Mira on foot before clearing chapter 6 .
I also talk to every NPC after every chapter in order to see their growth and expanding affinity chart. It's interesting to find NPC that foreshadow some the main plot and lore surrounding the game. It's like I am playing souls series trying to analyze what's going on around in less subtle way.
And since I'm playing this completely blind, I run around NLA, some rest areas and caravan to search for some yellow bubbles.
>mfw ran out of Bonjelium
fucking shit, i was having 99 of them like 50 hours at one point
>Full course meal before a fucking major battle
At least do your research before making some emotional shit up.
I use mastema with hades armor and zenith cannon, reflect neg thermal and phys, 120 ether res, 4 spec ranged atk ( would have made more but ran out of fucking ore), and i use like 6 or 7 slayers
it is not even a complete skell yet, i still have like 4 more slots for weapon but like i mentioned above i ran out of precious ore so i can't craft XX augment. i guess imma enjoy ground combat now to pass time and stock up ore
died like 5 times before i realize i keep rekting myself because of reflect damage since it doesnt announce what he gonna do like telethia plume
So does this armor actually exist?
I know it's not Ultra Infinite, Ultra Regal, or one of the ones bought from the shop.
Is there an easy way to re-fight him?
Nearest fucking checkpoint is outside, can't have a skell in there so return to skell doesn't work, and exiting to the title screen and loading the game back up means I have to wait through like 3 loading screens.
I need some help with Yelv's last Affinity Mission
where the fuck
There are some boss battles where you need to fight on Mech, but outside that I think you could potentially do it.
Good luck since setting a proper foot combat build before postgame, and without a skell is incredibly difficult.
So, i remmeber an anon saying that Weapon damage XX was beter than melee boost and melee up for damage depending on the weapons. IS it better for Spears with 350+ base or should i go boost/up?
Now the trick is finding two with decent additional effects.
Yeah, I hated that part because there is NO REASON for the story that he should have to be along. Fastest way to level his affinity is to put him in party, go to the quest board, hit ZR so you're looking at the objectives, and accept any quests that you already have all the items to fulfill. They'll complete as soon as you leave the quest board and you'll get affinity for them.
Do it multiple times as the quests shown by the board are randomly picked from a bigger list.
Also throw him and a level 60 PC in the party together and go fight higher-level stuff and he'll jump levels in no time.
>waste one of my skell insurance trying to grind up
>fuck it I'll just return to title screen, I'm sure I just saved prior to this
>have to do 3 affinity missions over again
FUCK. At least I can skip the scenes..
I'm a pretty big manual save guy and adore the lack of autosave. The original Xenoblade didn't have it either, but what it did have was more than one save slot, which I loath that X does not have.
This anon gets it.
>get a character killed because of my choices
>can't just reset because I don't know when was my last save
it's their lives or my progress and I really want to grind up those affinities
What is you're favorite chapter of the manual?
