Actually, this quest is the best one for leveling at the moment, due to the energy reduction happening. It`s almost as much exp as a ringa for a fraction of the time, difficulty and energy.
The chips are a plus, I`m saving them because i`m 100% sure techs will be good SOME TIME, the devs just love techs and this character already have gimegid and gifoie ex.

It's a buff to both, but the buff to Fighter is larger due to meme break builds. The only problem sword has normally is charging gear, which is handled by main classing Hunter for gear boost and shortens charges dramatically. Allowing sword in general to charge faster means more people are going to pick fighter because they can shit out more damage with it at a faster pace.
You can't change anything in this game without it somehow effecting another class's balance if that class uses the same attack type. Especially not striking while Fighter has so many attack boosting passives.

With all this talk of banish/chase arrow/volg (I dont know if volg is as busted) being busted (I've never tried it) how exactly is it busted? I've enjoyed melee (bo mainly) for how easy it makes mobbing, but I've always been jealous of how ranged was the boss destroyers (well, mainly bow/fo kind of?/ranger/...gunner?) and want to try being a cheesey boss destroying class/weapon. Not sure which has the easiest time at it, and thoughts on each of them.

Hunter: Slow/ Medium power/ Its fantastic as a subclass.Its recommended as a class to play until 30 then picking a new class.

Fighter: Fast high power Dying every millisecond after turning on limit break, wasting peoples moons, once you git gud you can dodge raindrops at god like speed. People only play it with partizen because they're allergic to fighter weapons except knuckles.

Ranger: Fast ranged high power/You end up one of the few classes that actually reach xh standards of power as you melt 98% of all the content / shitters will scream for weakbullet every second, you will develop an immunity from hearing the word.

Gunner: A fast class that is decent at bossing and dodging but shit at everything else. people will laugh at you for using gunner because of memes. Get all the necessary level 17 pa disks and you will fart on a lot of content until mid sh.

Force: A class completely built on elements and powertrain. Its very good at most things but it becomes shit if you don't have premium. Also you become a glass cannon so anything in vh or higher can practically tear your skin off just by breathing on you. Git gud at dodging.

Techer: Bretty gud at mobing if you chose hunter as a sub. Alright if you chose braver as a sub. Absolute ass if you chose anything else because you can get replaced so easily.

Braver: Katana braver is the simplest thing to ever play (even by peekaboo standards) because of nerfs and devs forgetting classes need to get stronger over time it falls off the boat at vh difficulty.
Bow Braver: Very strong but unnecessary 80% of the time unless you are bossing or making a video. Even then if you're doing TOO MUCH damage you can get a slip up and get banned because they think its a hack in progress from all that damage.

Bouncer blades: LITERALLY DISPERSION STRIKE THE CLASS. ITS SO BORING SIMPLE AND LAZY I CAN GUARANTEE AFTER PLAYING THIS ABOMINATION OF A CLASS YOU WILL DIE INSIDE. YOU THOUGHT KATANA BRAVER WAS SIMPLE HOLY SHIT PLAY DBS I DARE YOU. Its godlike in pso2 es if you get the right 5 chips though.

Bouncer boot: lackluster unless you need it for unusual approaches to strategies. Still can be seen as fun. Nobody sane will attack you with a rake for playing it.

FO seemed pretty lackluster though, but I've heard it needs gear and skilltrees for each element beyond the standard fire/dark/light default, as well as all the techs being customized.

But compound techs DO look neat, although it's not something you can use all the time.

The whole hitting damage cap with banish, or ra with wb/end attract seemed appealing, and way easier than what I have to do as melee for bossing.

Shift Period has really good weak point priority, good range and procs standing snipe in air and on the ground. It very easily makes use of all the conditionals, which ends up making it really strong. 150k~200k per shift period if all hits hit, the outer hits alone deal about half the damage. Only takes like, 2 seconds to do.

It's probably no Te, but it's nowhere near as bad as people think. Especially since I doubt most people even gave it much of a look.

it's not busted. what's busted is the stack of multiplicative modifiers that everyone's filtering their base+gear+~600 attack from affixes through.

what these faggots ignore is that to do the whole bow wombocombo shit and actually get the full damage you have to be left alone a while so standing snipe will proc. if something so much as farts next to you, forget it.

of course, if we fix the multiplicative(as opposed to additive; two +20% multipliers aren't +40% but more like +42% or some such shit. when you have like. eight multipliers plus weakbullet it gets nonsensical this way) multiplier stack that most every valid class combo abuses, then we also need to nerf the fuck out of the enemies, lest we wind up with SEA.

Multiplicative modifiers aren't really a bad thing. They aren't really what makes us so OP, it's the fact that the equipment we have available is just too good for the content they are giving us.

Only main difference between multiplicative and additive multipliers is that additive multipliers would have diminishing returns. While this might make people be less attack focused, I'd rather they just make it so the content -wants- us to be tanky by being difficult.

one of my hunters being guard stance focussed, while I have fun solo and can just duke it out with things at my leisure, that character winds up useless in EQs because you need furystance's damage to get shit done fast enough.
