Venom got a fairly advanced bionic for that time, so we can assume that Kaz got a similar, more advanced bionic.
He lost most of his arm though, so I don't think he'd ever regain full functionality.

After getting revenge on skull face and learning that Venom is, well, Venom, he got his shit together. It isn't hard to imagine him getting bionics to accomplish his goals.
The whole loosing an arm and a leg thing is symbolism for mother base and the lost years, but the death of skull face should suffice for revenge. So there's no reason for him to not get bionics.

I haven't been on this general or TPP since September due to both 100% it and work.
I came back yesterday to try and play it, and I noticed that there was a huge update from December. Got a ton of GMP and resources from the tasks they put in, so that was a surprising thing.
