I've not much experience with the HE prowler, but having the marauder - I'd never cert the prowler. You can get to so many more lucrative farm spots with a harasser than you can a tank.

prowler is overpowered as fuck
this shows in pretty much any statistic besides those related to air
the only things lowering its KDR to a point where you can say that it's "only" 125% that of titan AP and FPC are hornets, tankbusters and C4 fairies, and hornets and tankbusters are comparatively rare. by using radar you're shaving off about half your deaths that is, assuming you don't charge in and try to 1v4 vannies like a retard, etc.
stealth is great because it allows you to sneeki breeki and get those rear shots in easily, but radar means you'll stay alive much longer. which one to choose depends on how you want to play it.
if you consistently have a competent gunner, you'll only get minimal benefit from radar, in that case i suggest using stealth. if you mostly play solo, definitely use radar.

It's very strange, there's an obvious connection with regards to visibility and dark colors, making you less obvious and thus less shot at but there doesn't seem to be a clear opposite to that, being any brighter than default doesn't appear to make you any easier to see.

Harasser. First, buy the cheap 550 cert marauder for it.

With that, you can start solo farming infantry from amazing angles due to the harasser's huge mobility and positioning advantages.

Get thermals for it ASAP, and follow shortly after with the cheap stealth ranks, fire suppression, and extra ammo for it up until the cert costs start getting stupid.

After a while of farming massive certs with that, you can move up to the gatekeeper and vulcan for fun anti-vehicle times. I'd hold off on the gatekeeper upgrades beyond the initial purchase until the nerfs go through and we see where it ends up, but for right now even the basic purchase gets you unparalleled long range AV *and* AI ability. Perch that shit on a mountain top at render distance from a vehicle battle and plink enemies for safe, easy certs. Not bad at any distance with a decent gunner, though.

The vulcan you might want to get the final, most expensive level of stealth and/or full composite armor before fucking with too much, as well as a competent gunner. It also takes a bit of experience to approach from the correct angles and learn how to sneak into the best up close positions to start hammering assholes with it without becoming paste. When you do it right though, it is satisfying as hell to melt armor with, and very effective.

Basically, the gatekeeper for all-purpose, solo or duo anti-armor and some minor anti-infantry, and the marauder for extreme effectiveness solo or duo anti-infantry, both cheap at 550 certs base purchase for each.

You can't go wrong with a harasser though, since it's so cheap nanites-wise, you can pull them infinitely even if you die right of the vehicle spawner every time.

He did ask for easy to cert vehicles, and the cheaper options for TR harassers yield immediate results.

Wrong. Harassers are a world apart due to the empire specific weapons.

You will not get anywhere near the same experience with a canister or a fucking PPA on a harasser as you would a marauder, and a saron and enforcer could scarcely be any more different from each other, despite being supposed equivalents.

I gun for a friend in his Vanguard fairly often. Our go-to loadout is AP/Enforcer and he affectionately calls the Enforcer the "kill-stealer gun".

How much do you think that sort of thing affects the performance of the cannons that only get 1 shot? If you think about it, the fact that the Prowler gets 2 shots, even if they're weaker, means that it has more opportunities to collect a kill on things they attack.

This is what I want most. Red orchestra 2 gave nice feels like this. Sitting in your tank or sdkfz 251, looking at the other mans. It didn't offer any utility, but it gave such feels. Even occasionally someone would get shot by an AT rifle, or tank crew might get hit by shells, and all the other mans would be afraid. It'd be nice if planetside gave this. It'd certainly help my immersion.

I'd leave PS2 & go back to RO2/RS if my local servers weren't so dead / what remains of the playerbase decided to get away from the casualmode servers, and went back to manmode ones like they used to. I miss that game.

The thing is accurate, sure, that's why your accuracy is so much better. But your KDR with it is comparable, because your self-admitted lack of skill prevents you from using it to its full potential.
Burst guns shine especially when in the hands of competent players, and most new/bad players find them very hard to use, because they aren't familiar with it and rely on full auto spam too much. That's why the chart guy said burst guns are suggested if you are good.

The problem is that the vast majority of snipers are bolt shits, either CoD kiddies or statpadding tryhards. Nobody (besides TR and VS newbs) seems to use semi snipers.
The Phaseshift is actually a very decent semi sniper, with a small mag but infinite ammo. I love the Gauss SPR (Spectre/99SV equivalent), and I barely ever need to fire off more than four shots before cloaking and reloading; however, I run out of ammo fairly often while using it. That (for fairly obvious reasons) never happens when using the Phaseshift, and I had it overheat maybe 10 times during all of the aurax.
Think of the Phaseshift as a semi-auto with heat mechanic and a OHK gimmick, not as a shitty bolter that can also be used as semi.

Used the buffed (moving COF) SAW today, got 120 kills on it.

Pretty good, there wasn't a time where I felt like I had the wrong weapon for the situation, and neither did I ever feel like I didn't have enough DPS for the situation.

I rate it 8/10 only downside is the reload speed. GODSAW seem like it would be perfect with the lower mag size and faster reload.

NC weapons are literally the best in the game but for the 15 minutes I play tested them I was plagued by lemming platoons and suicide leaders. 40 man platoon of an entire air force meets and entire VS airforce and they order everyone to fly through the VS and crash into the warp gate.

I'd come back to this game if buzz came back
