>2016 Winter Cup:
>16 Test Cup:
A whole new year of rigging
Well that explains it, longball wide ain't exactly something to use for the whole match. Why not the first preset? Just curious.
A stormtrooper in TFA shouts "TRAITOR" to Finn (the black stormtrooper) before dropping all of his gear, doing a weird pose and fucking him up with an energy baton. The scene is so unintentionally comical that it, as expected, became a perfect target for /tv/.
Hey. Do you think that it would be unreasonable to run a consolation knockout round? And this goes as a suggestion to the JMC2 organizers too. Since there are only 8 teams then there are only 4 knockout matches. 2 four team knockouts, a consolation and championship setup doesn't push a match day over 8 matches, makes a fun amount of games and allows more testing for the height system.
I hope they can add him in before Winter but who knows how blenders will work in PES 16
>Why not the first preset?
seeing meme presets in action is fun 2bh
you scored first goal against /mlp/ and gave up 4 in the first half which did you in before the first half ended, did fucking jack squat against /vr/ while letting them walk over you (as do most teams lel), and scored 2 to fuck /vg/ (and their 3 76 CBs) over after they got 3-0 up
also holy shit /mlp/ 2-3 /mu/ and it's only 15 fucking minutes in, good god PES 16
4-3 and it's 35 fucking minutes in
too bad it's for fucking ponies
god do I wish I had a nonshit voice and computer but then you'd be hearing me laugh like a bitch on stream while watching nodefenselol
Everyone gets to play 5 games.
Its not a crazy increase in games played.
A team gets the dishonor of 8th place via knockouts.
More banter, more team cheering, more team exposure which is what its all about in the end right?
For the downside of playing only 4 more games, there is a hell of a lot of upside!
It only works with an 8 team tourney with 2 four team groups like these, how often do we get an opportunity like this?
>complaining about anime images on 4chan
What is it, the kind of argument where you can't think of anything so you just blame the newest trend to blame.
Do you blame your vaccinations for your autism too? Just being curious.
Like it or not, it represents them all too well.
You mean like how UnderTumblr started to shit on weebs in the previous post?
of fucking course
/mlp/ wins 3-4 on penalties, /vr/ gets fucked over by its jew silver and Gunpei
/mlp/ 1st because rigged
/a/ 8th >fluid
>doesn't even post best nep
At least you posted her oneechan so you you're not that far off.
>Posting a murderer
I guess it's still better than Whoire
Oh fuck, you're right. Like I said, it's been a while.
Somehow, even killing best goddess doesn't make me hate Nep.

I can't even remember trigonometry. Triangle is 180 this should be easy. I start at '35. After one minutes, it seems I can't solve it without paper. Now stated at 36' with ms pain
Wiki updated, tomorrow's match schedule is as follows:
/fa/ vs /w/(/fa/ won game one 2-0, /w/ won game two 4-3 in OT)
/v/ vs /vg/(/v/ won game one 5-2, /vg/ won game two 5-4 in OT)
/out/ vs /h/(/h/ won game one 4-0, /out/ won game two 3-0)
/wsg/ vs /vr/(/vr/ won game one 2-0, /wsg/ won game two 2-1)
/co/ vs /vp/(Because one of both teams pulled a /y/ and we couldn't get their match to start)
After tomorrow's matches we'll be taking a 2 week break, and running the 16 team "real" cup on the 15th-17th.
This will give some time to figure out crashes and sound issues, maybe add some more aestetics, and it will keep us from overlapping with JMC or Testcup.
The problem is underdefined and has an infinite number of solutions.
If you restrict triangle CDE to be isosceles, that's the unique answer, but that's an arbitrary choice not fixed by the figure itself.
>AB and DE aren't parallel lines
>can't make <BDE = <DBA
Funny thing is, infinite number of solutions is (0, 150) \ 70, one that anon gave is actually impossible.
When CBA = BAC = 80 (so ABS is isosceles triangle), but BDA =/= BEA, from intercept theorem, BA is not parallel to DE and BED =/= EDA
If the question don't tell you any more info AND said that the picture aren't in ratio, you are free to make an assumption. Most of angles question can be solved by redrawing the question to suitable angle and measured manually by ruler.
you don't need to know they're parallel. you know that angle is 50 degrees from the triangles and that the adjacent angles also have to add up to 180 since they form lines. complementary angles right?
I wish. Nowadays majority of highschoolers would have problems with this one, kids in a grade school struggle with acknowledging sum of angles in triangle or concepts of perpendicular and parallel.
Because it was already answered? Look at sent and sent2 pics, both are accurate as sums of angles in triangles hold. As someone said earlier, without giving us any measures of the sides, alpha might be anything from 0 to 150, bar 70.
>sum of angles in triangle
> alpha might be anything from 0 to 150
Agree. If teacher argue back with their own answer, give a different answer that is equally true. To quote "I can construct another truth using a different interpretation! When two theories exist, the credibility of both can be questioned.
Food engineering here. Is that bar for pressure?
Sorry, I meant "bar" as "aside from".
And you know, it's not even about existence of two or more theories. Answer: "There is one solution: " is as good and proper as "there are no solutions to" or "there are multiple solutions/infinite number of solutions" as long as you work in arithmetic system that is both consistent and complete.
>page 8 in 11 minutes
I guess /vg/ are back being lazy again
>/vp/ was the second-worst team according to JB's analysis
>/vp/ will never EVER get an elite cup win
>/r9k/ and LITERALLY /out/ will get an elite cup win before /vp/ does
>they will never be remembered outside of a meme run from a year ago and counting
how can one team be so
>The problem is underdefined and has an infinite number of solutions.
>As someone said earlier, without giving us any measures of the sides, alpha might be anything from 0 to 150, bar 70.
Wrong. How have none of you newfags seen this one before?
TLDR: the answer is x=20.
Draw 16:30 UTC January 2
Matches begin 17:00 UTC January 2-3
Will probably be host moded on the main Twitch, but if not for some reason you can find the direct channel at http://derpy.me/zKOpV
All these worst girls in this thread, I swear /4ccg/ has the worst taste.
I like PH more but Buran's pretty cool too
>nearly page 9
first weekend of Unfriendlies booked up, still all but one slot left
the booked slot is a /fa/-/ic/ ded meme friendly as /fa/'s annual trip outside the grave, dedicated to based Bob Ross who may never see the cup again, unless Tenko kills itin a second weekend for managers looking for friendlies to book their shit
Teams that have only one friendly: /c/, /ck/, /cm/, /co/, /f/, /g/, /hr/, /m/, /mu/, /vr/, /w/, /wg/, /v/, /y/
Teams with no friendlies: /3/ (lel), /adv/, /an/, /asp/, /b/, /biz/, /cgl/ (lel), /d/, /diy/ (lel), /gif/, /h/, /hm/ (lel), /i/, /int/, /lgbt/ (lel), /lit/, /n/, /out/, /po/, /pol/, /r9k/, /s/, /soc/, /t/, /trv/, /u/, /wsg/, /x/
Also, if anyone has a good high-res reference of Doctor Jewgle for me to use in posters for the Spring Babby Cup and future invitationals with /vg/, then much appreciation will be given. I'm using Purple Heart as a temporary placeholder.
I you need any help finding /w/ stuff just say so in the thread I'm happy to help.
>your meme tactics end here.
>tfw when you have proof the shitlist is real
>tfw you have a get out of jail card
There ain't no fucking star on /out/'s, /tv/'s, /b/'s, /pol/'s, /toy/'s, or /m/'s logos for their Babby wins, smartyman , and there's one star on /wg/'s but because they won an Elite
/mlp/ isn't even fucking special, /wg/ did it first
Making the /y/ poster burned me out. Wanted to get something done quickly before West Ham played Liverpool. I might put effort into a separate /w/ poster some other time
While I'm here...
Those teams suck, not like my precious /wg/
>so they don't count
According to /merit/, fanless teams are the cornerstone for the cup and without them it will be destroyed.
How does it feel to be last place for your own people?
Have some quick and dirty waifu2x job
>can't even make out the word 4chan im the numbnail anymore
>2016 only barely
>we already checked it! even though it's about the same size on the stream and streaming takes away some quality as well
It will look like a mush of dark blue with some semen spilled across it. If you were going for that, great. Otherwise, make the text bigger.
I like it better with a lighter outer circle. Better contrast and it doesn't like it was downscaled against its own will.
Done badly, but you get the idea.
How does that look?
Man, if I put as much effort into making logos as I do into fucking with the ones other people made...
Um yes. Having all the names of the competitors is technically bullying the teams that didn't make it. I would appreciate it of you would politely add all the teams, or remove those other teams. Thank you.
t. A /jp/ fan
Better. Still kind of plain but whatever.
Don't add a fuckin pony castle, no other cup logo has ever had some element of the hosting team in it because that's fucking dumb.
Hello and good morning again everyone, the final day of the 4CC Stanleyc Up will be starting shortly and we'll wrap up who's making it into the quarterfinals. Also, we've rigged up something resembling /co/ v. /vp/
sorry /vp/, it was your fault all alongso we'll conduct those games today too. Since the JMC is getting the hostmode on the main channel, you can find us at twitch/ontamontapieda
>still no wintercup date
Fuck you horsefuckers.
Also did SOMEONE make /v/ less of a shit team in skill and/or memeplayers offered?
So this... is... a /mlp/ stream... Wow...
Wow, I can't fucking wait for /y/ to lose. AGAIN.
Jesus Christ those a stupid fucks think they're so fucking tough by running a 4-3-3, what a load of shit.
What's the point of having a match if we know what the result will be anyways
Fucking /y/ ruining the cup, they should be out.
I think a lot can be done with a more transparent roster poll; last time
LOLwas voted to stay on and loss.jpg was voted in probably because it wasn't apparent that they were both options.
I really wanted Tittyninjas on the team back in spring because of the Senran Kagura and DoA duology but there wasn't really enough backing for it.
I'll really just have to up my game for this year's Spring and seriously update/fix the roster. Autumn was, as pointed out by others, a pretty big embarrassment, mainly because of my lack of planning ahead,
Which is kinda sad since DoA and Senran threads are still fairly popular and i think it deserves the spot
sad 100% rigged juiced threads died, we needed GirlAccelerator in the goal
Well they're more relevant now than ever with all this censorship shitposting going on.
I feel like 100% and Risk of Rain kinda need a rep, but they're probably not big enough to be considered 'core-/v/-culture' or whatever
stu was on the team at one point. Wouldn't mind seeing his return.
>tfw you will never murder troid in his sleep and make a fashionable jacket out of his skin
well if it is anything can you guys help me with my computer? everything is non shiftable and pressing the plusequals button zooms in i also can"t scroll with my mouse> how the fuck do i fix this? i can"t use periods either if this helps when i did preess plusequals button the letters zxcr in all caps came up i also can"t click anything or it will highlight everything so sorry about misspells
Ok I fixed it but I now have figured out the cause of why this shit keeps happening. Every time I press my plus-equals button everything goes wonky and my keyboard stops acting correctly. Thanks for the help. I guess I won't be touching that button ever again
I got home after the cup already started
fuck it, I'll get what I can from twitch after it's over
I'd probably never go there, I'm still too shit at it hah
>have to hope for a win in a game I can't manage to advance
>can't manage in knockouts
fug, good luck /w/
maybe you should just git gud :^)
I was fucking scared after you made those changes late and at least one of your post shots should have made it in
still, git gud
Its all a learning curve for the real thing.
Yeah yeah, I know. Though I'm not really upset about it, I ran like 3 tests, saw defense was shit in 16 and ripped off old 5-2-1-2 tactics to see if it did anything. It didn't.
At least now I have more of an idea of how to proceed in this game, learn from your defeat and such. I still hope its issues are addressed though, as it stands it's a fucking nightmare to live with.
Not sure I can do that, but I'll still try.
I wouldn't be too worried it's the first time in PES16 for a lot of these teams and /co/ looks to be running some meme as fuck shit in their export. Maybe they'll improve by spring
I wish Tenko would scream at me as I try to sleep.
I absolutely love his fucking voice desu
>I wish Tenko would scream at me as I try to sleep.
Anyone want some drawing? Keep in mind that I suck
While on most occasions I'd agree with you in a heartbeat, the /mlp/ thread right now is great.
We have a guy, autistic even by our standards, who wanted to force some shitty OC from an edgy fanfiction into the cup and have it be a medal.
We're trying to get him to commentate.
I actually wouldn't mind it if Tenko just followed me around all day and yelled at me. It would be a nice change of pace.
Good, I was making sure he wasn't Austrian or something.
/jp/'s home kits are based off of the Japan national team's home kits. /hr/'s away kits are based off of the South Korea national team's away kits from 2012-2014.
Laddies, no matter how far will we go, our autism over virtual memeball will never be strong enough.
Tottori tried this. It's good in theory, but really hard to put into practice. A line has to be drawn at a point where "The enjoyment if the few people who are fans is outweighed by the burden of maintaining their team" but who gets to decide that line? It will have to be merit, whom many people already have a distaste for.
Also I would like to point out that it is unfair to teams that weren't lucky back in the days where the game was pure luck (/a/ and /sp/ the big examples) and now have to build their fanbase.
I don't like it.
>implying /a/ and /sp/ wouldn't have huge fanbases regardless of past results
>implying teams like /a/ and /sp/ being successful early on isn't the reason the cup has survived to this day
This is why things like this would have to be judged on a case-by-case basis.
It wouldn't have to be things like threads, stuff like poll results could also be considered valid proof of interest.
A line will have to be drawn at some point. Where exactly that line would be could be a matter of some discussion.
Who gets to make the calls would also be a part of such a discussion. I feel it is at least worthy of new discussion.
This so much. It's not really hard work to fabricate some fake board support with help of buddies or different Internet providers anyway, and every time we bring in case of even most obvious teams that should be cut off (like /lgbt/ which barely managed to sign up and provide export in time for Autumn, yet escaped Fetus for unexplainable reason), a bunch of people wil jump in with "b-but they had cup thread 17 years ago and 3 unique posters (after crosslinking it to /4ccg/) told that they are interested!"
>managers of zero market teams that should be cut in first place signing it while claiming that unlike others they have already gathered board interest
loving every laugh already
now my fetish is to show documentaries for you and tonights viewing pleasuere its Armadillo, following a squad of danish soldiers in the war of Afghanistan. Its fun for the whole family and as always the theather link is vaughnlive tv pybro01
come one cum all
>Why would /a/ have any reason to watch this cup if they didn't win the first tournament?
other than being one of the largest teams that consistently has success at a high level you mean? Even if they had lost to /ck/ or /sp/ they still would have followed the cup.
Germanbro was right to use unbalanced teams; the cup wouldn't have continued if /soc/ or /s/ had won.
I think Duke should at least post his poll results somewhere where we can see them, I do know he had a thread up shortly before getting verified with plenty replies
After Autumn I put in rules to the verification that mean that reviving a dead team requires you to reach out to the board and /biz/ passed this requirement with ease.
I feel interacting with the board is one of the most important parts there is to being a manager and it should be required since it seems many cannot do this without encouragement.
Give Bent a rest, he works hard maintaining the shitlist to keep all of you peasants down.
>things like this would have to be judged on a case-by-case basis
In other words, you want to leave it in hands of /merit/ who either discards logical thinking and holds into rules and laws in every minor detail or goes full retard with last minute decisions if they are none? Just watch no market teams being allowed to stay if their manager is #toplad or removed if he's on shitlist.
Sole example of Autumn fetus in which teams like /3/ /biz/, /w/, /lgbt/ or /wsg/ were allowed to escape the coat hanger should be enough to justify that this is terrible, terrible idea. In result, you'd have Boris showing up 10 minutes before the start of signups and saying "Uh... so, we should remove... /team1/, /team2/, /team3/ and... ummmmm... /team4/! Yeah this decision is final and offcial, no time to discuss it left."
Also, the fact that managers have to write and sign pleads to /merit/ tyrants being in charge (and voice of several people might get discarded without giving a reason as it is less valuable than voice of one brony who only made AATF but is qualified to make cup-related decisions because of it) shows the sorry state in which the cup is currently in.
Maybe I'm off my rocker, but I got the impression /lgbt/ actually has rather more board interest than quite a few other boards I could name.
They're not being kept alive as the personal plaything for a merc; on the contrary, when no one bothered to merc them, actual fans from the board banded together, figured out the system and managed to get their team into Autumn as an auto-pilot. That's a non-trivial amount of effort for a group of non-/4ccg/ autists.
>Also I would like to point out that it is unfair to teams that weren't lucky back in the days where the game was pure luck
This has absolutely nothing to do with it, though. It always comes down to board interest no matter how you look at it. Just look at /trv/, a team that won an Elite Cup with over 2000 people watching. The board never gave a fuck when the team had its moment of glory, the roster is still generic as fuck and they probably care even less now that the team is shit
>The enjoyment if the few people who are fans is outweighed by the burden of maintaining their team
That's not rocket science. /i/, /w/, /trv/ and /po/, for example, are terribly slow and have a small number of users. Even if there was a signifcant overlap between the people who browse the board and those who follow the Cup, that would be around 15 or 20 people at best. Other boards like /fa/ and /ic/ have always been hostile towards the Cup. I don't think it's fair for those teams to deny boards ranging from 50 to 200 plus people following the Cup a spot in an Elite Cup just because Mr Tripfag and his friends want to watch their team play
The thing is, with 59* teams and 56 places, /merit/ will have to decide either way. In fact it already happen in Autumn as you said.
Of course /merit/ is full of retards who caused the mess in the first place, but good luck suggestion/thinking of a better system.
>Implying /merit/ will let /fa/ play ever again
/lgbt/ was on the verge of being cut off as they have "banded together" months before the Autumn (and I bet 80% of people on that thread were bored shitposters form /4ccg/ that never miss an occasion to fuck around with no market teams for shits and giggles) and when the actual Cup season arrived, there was no one, not even their so-called manager, to show up and say "I'm from /lgbt/, I'm a supporter of /lgbt/, what should I do to save team from the abyss?". Only a bunch of people (read >>127272347) who said "I'm not a fan of /lgbt/ but there surely are some around, right? I beliee they had wonderful approval thread somewhere in the past". In the end, /lgbt/ was allowed to stay only because other no market teams were equally dead and there was too much hassle with swapping them with another one of their kind on last second.
>I don't think it's fair for those teams to deny boards ranging from 50 to 200 plus people following the Cup a spot in an Elite Cup just because Mr Tripfag and his friends want to watch their team play
The worst part is that you can't even say this because then someone replies with "then big market teams just need to git gud, no harm done! Stay salty that you're a permababby :^)"
