I opened the game. It didn't work.
Its been running fine for months, but then randomly today decided not to. Tried uninstalling. Tried uninstalling and clearing the registry which my dumb friend recommended, but that didn't work either. Tried running as admin. dried deleting the config file and verify the cache with steam which some post somewhere recommended. Any help would be appreciated. By the way, I'm a girl.

Gas wasn't OP because it could be dodged easily. It gave him a powerful area denial tool which made fights more interesting than "Have a bunch of dudes stand around and heal a dude who tanks him."

My main issue with Hans is his health stealing.
Unlike the patriarch who heals himself in an non-intrusive way, Hans REQUIRES a player to be grabbed three times before he can be killed.
The healing process is completely unavoidable, predictable, and boring. Once Hans enters his shield phase, there is literally nothing you can do but throw yourself at him. That's it. That's terrible game design.
A good, well prepared team should be able to defeat Hans without him grabbing anyone.
Support is fine also, it's just a poorly thought out class.

WHAT WERE THEY THINKING?
Medic and Firebug are straightforward and don't require a lot of precision or focus to do their job. If she isn't going to put a lot of effort into learning the game, might as well be one of these two.
Support is also technically straightforward, but can be rough if you're not so good with conserving ammo and dosh. Wouldn't suggest.
Commando and Gunslinger require a bit of finesse, but teach you some good habits that help the other perks, like sidearm proficiency. Would suggest if she actually wants to get into the game and build some skill.
Zerk and Demo can have a hard time surviving at low levels, wouldn't recommend them as someone's first perk since dying a lot while still getting the basics down sucks.
only a few perks can stun and most within zed time at level 25
medic has sedate (use altfire on a zed in zed time to stun), berserker has menace (use a heavy strike on the head during zed time)

youre thinking too much about higher levels, stuff like commando and support can spray liberally on normal and she will have an easier time like that, hell commando is easier than firebug until fb gets heatwave
It's a pretty generic amateur zombie short. If that's your jam you might enjoy it but if you're expecting anything remotely killing floor-esque in it you'll be disappointed.
It does make me want an actual Killing Floor flick that pulls out some serious stops when it comes to scrakes and husks and snarky brits launching sawblades around.

The other 10% HOE lobbies are people cheesing/exploiting sitting in spots where only 1 zed at the time can come, then they want to sit there for 10 rounds and die on boss because they fucking suck and can't even handle suicidal without cheesing.
It says alot about the playerbase when only 8% of the players have finish Paris on Hard.

Just tried out Gunslinger and Demolitionist.
Gunslinger seems like it can be very powerful if you can line up a lot of headshots, but it seems like that won't be too useful against Scrakes and Fleshpounds. Or are Gunslinger pistols just really heavy-hitting in general?
Demolitionist seems surprisingly weak. The rocket launcher has a lot of particle effects for something that seems as powerful as a gentle nudge to the shoulder; even Fleshpounds seemed to not really care about it. Also, gaining XP seems really difficult with such strict ammo limits; the AoE of your weapons aren't THAT large.

Uwotm8, as a slinger you can get rid of big guys in a matter of 20 secs of you're gud. His guns are really good for offperking too.

Save for C4 which has a HUGE AOE which means that inadvertently killing yourself is a real concern.
Nothing for max movement speed or pulv for clutching waves.
Gunslinger seems like it would be an excellent KF1 perk, but Zed's heads bob around a fuckton more in KF2, including the heads of Scrakes and FPs. Reliably getting headshots on them seems fairly impossible.
I just want to be useful, since Support feels weak as fuck now for some reason. I remember my AA12 melting things before, and while Scrakes still get upset about it, FPs seem to give no fucks at all. The AA12 seems to do nothing to them, and while grenades seem to do a lot of damage, FPs are fast as fuck and it's hard to get solid hits. And I don't have enough grenades to spam them for every FP.

That's the "Rack Em Up" skill, 10% damage increase per every headshot up to 70%, but you lose 10% for every missed shot
The counter can keep going after 7 headshots just for fun/counting your headshots
also the damage bonus from rack em up applies to EVERYTHING GS related
so that includes knife damage and bash damage, which means with 7 stacks GS has a higher knife bonus than commando does with backup
i headshotted 20 sirens with an off-perk .500 10 were point blank and another 10 at range
and 70% of the time they would fall down and 30% of the time she would stagger

rack em up if you're good at headshotting sprinting zeds
bonebreaker if you're not
I prefer bonebreaker either way cause knocking down scrakes and fleshpounds with leg shots is just way too fun
rack em up is good but it isn't consistent, bone breaker is a flat damage bonus which means you won't get in situations where you're fucked since you have 0 stacks
though maybe bone breaker needs a buff since 20% is only 2 stacks of rack em up, i dunno
also you'll want to legshot big zeds once you get the perk at 20, and if you do that you'll lose stacks

Play with the Xbox controller, the aimbot is super strong. You can clear out two groups of trash instantly, faster than you can reload.

Nah senpai, this was mentioned before, a skill needs to have more than just a boring "get free damage buff"
It needs something to go along with it, with a name like Bone Breaker it should have something where you get a damage bonus if you shoot the torso/shoulders/arms of a zed, much like leg shots, you can sort of stun their melee attacks for a moment
big guys take a few extra shots, or at very least, make the attacks weaker because broken bones ain't so strong
I guess it would promote less headshotting and aim more towards newbie slingers, but it at least gives a bit more than just free damage

Oh hey man they made this really cool thing called Zedconomy that has tons of fun content for the game. Makes it so much more fun to play the game. Glad they used those 3 months productively
Obviously you do that if you are using the CnB or Flamethrower, but if you somehow have a Trenchgun, it's a much faster kill with it than the 9mm. Less chances you'll get too distracted killing just one zed and potentially get fucked by others.

He at least tries to make his levels seem somewhat realistic in layout and design and not too corny and obvious its a custom map.
Using a controller is going to be so nice for melee weps to control the swing direction you want to swing, with a key board your forced to move a certain speed when you press the key and might back away too far too hit a zed with the swing, but with a controller you can just tilt the stick just a little back and then you can swing upper cut much more easily.
Man, if only these secondary conditions were easy to get and shit and doesn't follow all these crazy rules. Gotta hand it to this guy who makes these video's, he's dissecting this game pretty damn well.

That's possible. You can stage-1 him. The issue is they built the fight around the whole 3 stages due to the stupid 99% resistance he gets when that heal shield happens.
If Tripwire was smart, they'd have demolitions be able to break that heal shield and have Hans stay in a stage. Thereby a Demolitionist that spams RPG's at Hans actually has a use.

Should I bother buying the AK-12 at all? The L8 is cheaper and has single fire for ammo conservation and head popping. Then there's the SCAR for heavier targets which as a Commando you probably shouldn't be shooting at anyway.
Don't listen to stupid faggots, AK-12 with burst fire has more DPS than scar, you should get it to help your teammates against FP's in tough situations. Fire AK-12 -> switch to SCAR.
And you should shoot at scrakes at distance (head of course) if you have scar or AK-12+some aiming skills.
