According to some magazine interview, they're splitting the US cruiser line into CAs and CLs. Buffalo is likely to be the tier 10 at the end of the CL line.

Currently it's put in as a prem simply as a placeholder, similar to the Bismarck, which is likely to be the tier 8 German BB. Since there's no tree, they can't put the ship in a tree, so they're hanging by themselves as temporary prems.

after playing yamato and montana for 30~ battles, it feels like yamato is rewarding shitters because you can penetrate everything regardless of how much angle and your healing potion is 5x stronger.

not to mention, you have similar AA rating and you can equip reload + accuracy upgrades but you can't equip both on montana.

KM and RN torp ranges and speeds are very average, so they'll get outclassed by completely fabricated RU DDs. Just like US DDs do now, except they won't even have the torp range of US DDs, they'll be somewhere in between US and RU. US BBs are glorious, I prefer them over g00k ships.
Here's the problem though.

Yamato can equip both reload + accuracy upgrades, Montana can only equip one of these.
Yamato will always penetrate ships regardless of how much the target is angling, Montana can't do this at all.
Yamato can heal for more than 50% in a couple of seconds, Montana can't even heal for 1/4 and it takes much longer as well.
Both Yamato and Montana have similar AA ratings.

Montana require skills to play, Yamato can be played by literally anyone.
They need to nerf the main battery on Yamato.

The South Korean World of Tanks server gets something like a daily peak user figure of 2,500 or something. WG would be losing money if they made another WoWS server, but nobody played on it.

The Korean WoT server only exists because, by South Korean law, people can only play online games if they register with their government ID number. The same thing applies to China, but the Chinese WoT server has a peak population of something like 150,000 players every day, and I don't know the figure for WoWS but I heard that it's also huge.

Back in 2014, the Vietnamese WoT server was merged into SEA, because their server was also dying due to shit population numbers.

Outside of speedslut a cruiser has too many options to be one shot with torpedoes, and they won't be hit after they know you're gunning for them. Gunboats literally have to get a detonation.

You have a low rate of fire so you have to hinder your team by not shooting until you are sure they are dead, otherwise you'll just take most their health off and get kill "Secured" This has the result of wasting a lot of damage on low health cruisers allies could kill with faster fire rate.

Citadels for days, allies with faster fire rate but lower damage can kill while you chunk away at their health. Benefits your team.

For every class, damage would be better than kills. This also rewards skill instead of just clicking on the enemy when they have low health.
