Attila is an unoptimized mess, try this launcher fix to try and improve performance.
Launch Rome 2 then launch Attila instead from the Total War launcher. FPS can increase anywhere between 1 to 25.

You can BARELY make out the zone of control in this pic if you strain your eyes to the point of getting cross-eyed (no fucking idea why my game doesn't show the fiery border I've seen in youtube videos) it honestly looks like they shouldn't be able to bypass the city, which would make sense.
I like how the same core group of actors are in every history movie. The classic "kinda ugly and malproportioned so they look old-timey" people. Its starting to kill the immersion of historical films.
Skaven > Tomb Kings >>> Vamp Cucks
I like how Russel Crowe is in almost every TW related film.
19 turns into my first ERE campaign in Attila and I've only been attacked by the visigoths. I lost Macedon because shitty public order but got it back in a few turns. Other than that the huns, vandals, ostrogoths, and alans have all paid me for peace or non aggression pacts while the WRE throws tons of cash at me to fight barbarians I am nowhere near. All the African barbarian factions are warring with each other and have also paid me not to fight them. I've had a good amount of time now to build up my armies and I plan to attack the Sassanids soon once I have another stack or two.
Feeling extremely lucky. This never happens.
Yes, the last few A-Listers we've got are the only people who can convince Jew producers to green-light riskier movies, like historical ones. The fall of the blockbuster actor is another blow against every movie that isn't immediate-billions capeshit.
>about to send a doomstack to the sassanids with my best general
>he goes FUCKING BLIND
So thats a thing. I had no idea.
>mfw play music, videos, movies in 6x speed because your brain is fucked up on total war
Empire is also pretty based but you just don't see much fantasy with a race of giant rats the build crazy shit so they my personal favorite
>Tomb Kings still not announced
So many good historical TV shows to watch (even if it isn't accurate).
Great for Rome 2
>The Last Kingdom
Fun for Age of Charlemagne Mercia and Danes
CHINA: TOTAL WAR, WHEN
Alright I'm playing WRE hard. its 414. I fell back to a defensive position. shored up my public order and economy and now I can push forward again. I Just retook Lugdunesis and Dalmatia. both represent my furthest borders both northwards and eastwards.
Constantinopolis has fallen to the visigoths and the eastern roman empire is reduced to Ancyra.
Should i potentially spread myself too thin by trying to retake the eastern capital or should I just hold firm and prepare for the coming storm?
If you want to retake Constantinople you should do it slowly. I've been playing WRE on Legendary and trying to reclaim things too fast has led to me wasting tens of thousands of talents.
I'm interested in what your maps looks like, but regardless I'd say you'll want to secure Macedonia, Dardania and one or both of Crete and Rhodes. Securing naval control and the western border of Thrace is crucial to preventing Constantinople from being isolated.
If you're in doubt, preparing for the storm is a good option. You'll want to be ready for the Huns.
The huns attacked me about 6 years prior, they invaded my lands and were just raiding and around Ravenna and mediolanum. I wasn't stupid and put a another stack there along with my already 2 full stacks. Eventually they attacked and I massacred them. but I've been at war with them since and have yet to see them again.
That's about the same as what happened in my game, although I ended losing almost all of Italy before taking it back. The Huns eventually left and burned down everything east of Germany. Then Attila came of age and they gradually returned. I fortified the towns with walls and have strong stacks defending them; they're pretty adverse to laying siege against such strong defense. It's just a waiting game while I try to build up my economy and make sure no one else can cause any problems.
>tfw the minimap is mai waifu
>that one guy shouting at the camera
Damn, I think I fucked up, I can't get the victory because I would need to build a greek cathedral, except I'm latin christian now because of Rome and Papal See. Or more like the game fucked up to not foresee this happening. I would just grab one of ERE's settlements to get one, but the faggots won't upgrade their churches to lvl4.
Differnt poster here, also playing WRE on VH, currently in 405 ad. I just completely smashed the Huns in Aquileia, killed 4 of their 5 stacks, the last one retreated too deep into Germany for me to pursue, now I'm in a comfort zone being able to send stacks to Britain to punish the Celts and I already finished off the N African fuckers. Am I too confident with my victory over the Huns? They don't really seem THAT menacing, but will this change dramatically when Attila comes of age?
Roma Invicta from a Foederati Germanic Dux
I didn't finish my Celt dump the other night so allow me to finish it now.
Is anyone else getting this bullshit? I have latest drivers
What was the idea of those light chariots?
Did they just act as mobile platforms to hurl javelins at the enemy or were they used for charging as well?
I can only imagine how hard those things would be to maneuver in any terrain except for a cleared grassland or plains.
Cool, it's interesting how Celtic and Germanic warfare was all about individual acts of heroism compared to the much more unit orientated warfare of the Mediterranean civilizations.
>Mobile testudo ability still doesn't work in Attila 1 year after release and despite several reportings on forums.
I'm getting more and more worried about the Warhammer release for each passing day.
I heard that you can't conquer every settlement on the map, you're restricted to conquering certain settlements from certain factions.
Empire can't conquer Ork settlements for instance
The way Mediterranean warfare developed is that it started out like the Celtic and Germanic way of fighting individual heroes and small scale skirmishes, then some general or king changed that to get edge over his adversaries and in time that developed in to the greek and roman tactics we know today.
Is it "shitposting with non-/twg/ related pictures" time already?
That feel when the Jews finally got their revenge on the Romans from the destruction of Jerusalem by making them adopt a Jewish cult as state religion, making them afraid of everything (apocalypse) and shredding Rome frontiers by inviting Germanic tribes to rape and plunder.
It was all part of a greater scheme
I keep on getting shat on trying to siege in Shogun FOTS - any tips? I just started out so I'm really only getting marginally less shat on during field battles but sieges are really rough. Pasta didn't help much.
I've collected them over time through a combination of /twg/ images, google image searching and Osprey torrents.
>And it shows that the invading Anglo Saxons did not wipe out the Britons of 1,500 years ago, but mixed with them.
Wow what a surprise!
How come some people are so stupid that they actually think population groups were ever completely wiped off the face of the earth by invaders?
Many of those helmets depicted are ceremonial i.e. never meant to be worn in combat, but you're right, some of them would have had straps.
Was pretty average actually. Went to a sub-par party and feel I would have enjoyed it more if I'd just stayed at home, got drunk and shitposted on /twg/
>have an old-ass book detailing the evolution of weaponry and war through history.
>it goes into detail of how the primitive man first used the simple rock to kill his fellow men, all the way to the invention of the first nuclear weapon in WWII.
Maybe I'll scan it and post it here someday.
It's in Spanish, though.
Is Atilla worth getting? 32 Britbucks is more than I'd usually be willing to pay for something with such mixed reviews, but folks here seem to enjoy it. Which DLCs, if any, should I ditch? I'm thinking of avoiding the Charlemagne campaign pack for now since it's not reduced. Or should I just not bother with the game at all?
So long as it has pretty images I am happy
do it, it's seriously the most fun i've had in vidya for a long, long time.
sure, there's optimisation issues, polish is lacking in certain areas, rosters aren't perfect (not god awful), and attacking testudo is still broken, but it's hands down the only game i love playing
quarter to four in the morning
Here comes the agent gangbang
I get at least 2 generals assassinated each turn, why the fuck did CA decide to turn spies into killer machines?
>Studying the school of Azyr
>Studying the school of Chamon.
>Not studying the school of Shyish.
Do you even death magic plebs?
Was great. Woke up at 5 am and played attila and some AoC to 4 pm. Then went to dinner/vorspiel followed by the party. Was fun. Came back home at 5 am and started shitposting on twg.
>Playing Rome II as Athens.
>Having fun generally expanding.
>Pushing further into the Cretan capital with my marine forces.
>Decide to zoom in to watch the fighting.
>Hear a couple of shouts and taunts in a nearby moshpits.
>Oh cool, I forgot Rome II had this feature.
>"h-has anyone seen my son??"
What have I done /twg/, what was it all worth?
What is the most effective way to fight those cunts in Call Of Warhammer? They seem to be almost immune to arrows and bullets, they completely wreck any defensive formations of spear men or haleberdiers, sending swordsmen or greatswords at them seem like a suicide.
Knights, crossbows, handgunners and artillery.
Anything with a high attack will do hitpoint damage to them, remember they have like 11 hitpoints so while it may seem you do nothing with guns you are hurting them.
Mor priests can suck by deathly edgelord dick.
>Huns fucked off all the back to Crimea after I shat on them
>already making punitive incursions into Germanic territory
So much for le legendary campaign, I thought this would be harder.
I don't think I've ever heard that one, I do remember hearing "tell my children I died bravely" multiple times.
My all time favorite will always be "does anyone recognize this head"?
Tfw I just bought shogun 2 from steam and it gives me this message, pls help.
But i didn't, i really bought it.
I dont have any viruses and i dont use cheats.
Did you ever pirate shogun 2 on your PC before buying it? There may be some files left as >>127124772 said.
Reinstalling steam is also a good option, just don't delete the games.
Buy it anew anon, it's worth the money
Sending one unit to tie them up is a great tactic because big units kills so slowly. High charge units will wreck them too.
You could also reduce their hit points by half in export_descr_unit file
Welp, those poor sassyboys. And my WRE brothers are raping germs a few tribes has gone already.
Yo familia I'm trying to play Attila but I can't really get into it. I hate how it restricts everything you try to do, like with the tech tree and all that. I'm not sure if I'm playing it wrong or you're supposed to have to wait like 20 years to build an army. Any tips n shit? I've played the shit out of Rome 1 and Medieval 2, but haven't played muchof the others. I'm playing the arab jew guys btw, but I'm open to suggestions if they're not the best for a first playthrough
>get Attila on sale
>runs so bad it's borderline unplayable AND looks like dogshit cause low settings
>blame it on pc, 2 years old mid class after all
>get rome 2 instead for lower reqs
>runs perfectly fine on extreme
>read obscure tweaks on atilla, one points to a number in an .ini
>change one value
>runs great on high
Great job CA
Jewts, the great discovery of Planetwar, Total War tactics vs reality (the one the faggot drew the faces on), Anthonius and his Breaded Horses against the Holly Germans, Lugians (haha), guy who had a dog fuck his gf, the dogcuckapult exploit that came not too long after, purple ramen guy, poor little roman guy/white goy, Theodosius Theodosius (Theodosius), Gaius and Aulus, Tatul war genrul aint free, I'm going to pay you (the huns) 100 gold to fuck off, more TWC autism (clay roof-tier autism being right), more cropped art and screenshots with misleading filenames, and tiny toy romans
Can't recall any others off the top of my head
I doubt it just increases performance for everyone because it's just some vram issue, but for me it made the unplayable game completely fine and if I gave up on fixing it 5 minutes earlier it would just be money wasted and I wouldn't touch it anymore. This should be an option or a troubleshooting point or something if it's so damn important, for fucks sake.
>mfw im the reason tiny toy romans exist because I made a troll post about formation attack in R2 a while back
Even in that, there are tiers. Germans were the most organized, having spear walls and distinction between line infantry and flanking infantry. At the opposite end, Belgae were the most heroic and least organized, everyone was a guy charging an enemy host in some capacity.
Well the thread went to shit,
as planned ;)everyone was either biting or going along with the thinely veiled shitposting, and eventually it evolve into tiny roman greentexts revolving around how I said something to the degree of "watching hundreds of tiny romans standing in formation awaiting death" and then its history.
In a shield wall situation, most were merely injured and then pulled back through the lines, death isnt as common during battles as movies would lead you to believe, most death happened after the lines broke, not during the engagement
"And i saw in his hand a book sealed with seven seals the first of which was broken.
And behold a white horse; and he that sat on him had a bow; and he went forth to conquer..."
Always found 4 horsemen pretty stupid. War and conquest are pretty much the same thing and then death is completely redundant with the other 3. Each one should be unique. St John, watch some power rangers for reference or something.
And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see. And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine.
And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
Death is the only one that is named in the text.
Some interpret the horsemen as the history of the Empire. White Rider is the expansion and prosperity, Red Rider is civil wars and discord in the empire. Black is the governmental oppression in the empire and Ashen is it's death.
Which campaign do I choose fąms? I did the Pompey one. Sulla vs Marius is not particularly interesting, a great one like the 4 emperors seems broken as you only get 11 turns to play
Who /preorder/ here?
This is going to be awesome.
>and he that sat on him had a bow; and he went forth to conquer
Did the Christians literally predict the Huns and Mongols?
Did God try to warn us about the horsefuckers?
I don't know anon, this seems to be one of the most boring campaigns. There is no civil war, the republic is united all you have to do is fight some enemy factions for merely 30 settlements.
The limitations are real. It's not easy to follow history and make a great game out of it
What's the public order building for muh muslims?
They had always been the terror of the ancient world, even before the Huns or Mongols, steppe tribes were fucking scary. Imagine being a roman soldier living in Rome and then meeting a group of people that live in the worst environment on the planet, practically live on horses and can hit an apple off someone's head with an arrow while galloping at full speed. Theyre savage, terrifying men bred to view themselves as a pack of lions circling around herd animals-civilized people- and running them down like animals.
We dont need god to create myths centered around the scariest people on the planet. The crazy religious fear of horsemen stems from the fact that true horsefuckers are really fucking scary, simple as that
The Huns mainly tried to come through at Aquileia, just put a halfstack there and raped them.
Some time late they tried at Verona, at this point I had 2 fullstacks in N Italy, the Huns got smacked to shit.
Then they retreated to Germany and came back when I had lvl 3 garrison in Aquileia and 1 fullstack.
I hope Attila will pose a greater threat.
Fuck, we've been bamboozled.Apparently no one has bothered to read the OP since December 8.
The horsefuckers have been fucking with china for thousands of years before anyone from the west got a real taste of them. China's entire history is molded by their fear of horsefuckers. Their entire culture has lived for 99% of its lifespan in feat of invasion. Their armies were the largest and most advanced in the world, the arbiters of civilization in the direct threat of the most effective armies on the planet. Europeans became dominant during the gunpowder era because they had to fight each other all the time. China was so strong because they had to fight horsefuckers all the time. They were always the biggest threat, even China, which dwarfed even the HRE or any Muslim kingsom, could not contain them for long.
They built a literal wall of fear. Horsefuckerd aint nothing to fuck with.
>really don't want to pre-order because what they did was bang out of order
>but really really don't want to pay an extra £10-15 to get Chaos if I can help it
Fucking CA/Sega. I'm genuinely conflicted over this.
Yeah I was gonna say this. Wait for reviews and general response. Honestly this "pre-order" thing tends to carry on for a couple of days after release too. I got Atilla like a week after it came out (iirc) and still got the pre-order bonus.
you are the remnants of the UmAyyads! the true heirs of Mohammed. you will not bow to Abbasid scum!
MUSTER YOUR MEN!!
The moment I start feeling sorry for all the men I'm responsible in killing coincides with when a blood pack is released.
I swear i'm going to start having flashbacks when we start getting Empire soldiers being ripped apart in a shower of gore and screams by daemons and shit.
>leading your starving, diminished and injured troops back home after a long campaign
>ambushed by a chaos warband
Sigmar protects anon
this! the moment the blood pack for Shogun 2 came out was the first time I felt bad for the soldiers. seeing a yari ashi lying in a pool of his own blood with 20 arrows sticking out of him whilst reaching for the sky was horrible
These battles are going to look so cool when it's the same race against eachother. Imagine that webm but they're charging into a line of Stirlanders
Vampire vs. Vampire will be awesome, same with all the others.
Fug, 4 months to go, and 4 days until we start getting updates again.
They were a culture wholly focused on war, even more than horsefuckers. Horsefuckers did a lot of trading, Germans thought trade was for fags.
Maybe horsefuckers could have done the same. German peoples still kept their extreme sense of honor and principles and that effected the world they dominated, maybe horsefuckers would keep something of themselves.
Same goes for Brets as well. Knights are ok, but poor, terrified peasants seems too much.
This is a problem for me, because I want to play a Sigvald campaign when it's released.
It's going to be hard cleansing the world of impurity when I start feeling bad about it.
Iv been playing Empire again, and god damn. I forgot how bullshit Indians are man. Like my men just melt as soon as those redskins hit our lines. I had a better position, and 8 units of 12 pounders and 26 line infantry.
Indians hit us and we just disolved man.
Are you referring to the Indians (Maratha) or the Native Americans?
Because both are pretty fucking broken.
Have you unlocked bayonets and canister shot? They can and will win you battle.s
I'm probably going to feel bad when I eventually play as Bretonnia. Maybe I can lower the taxes at some point?
Being a bunch of elfcucks is also pretty bad
Holy shit, I never ever thought about a lvl 2 settlement and a high tier garrison building provides almost a fullstack worth of garrison troops!
>been playing Dawn of War: Winter Assault all day
>mfw all this glorious IMPERIAL GUARD
>suddenly fucking Ultrasmurfs and faggy Eldar
Fuck this campaign is shitty.
Anyway, would a 40k game ever work with the Total War format? I'm dying for a new 40k RTS game.
bless them in battle with the pretty ladies and they will be thankfull
>maidens rushing head long into the fray
>bound by chivalry to protect them
>frantically hacking my way through waves of Elves, Demons and other nasties just to protect maidens
>yfw Total Warhammer's mods will likely include pike & shot era, maybe even
HAHA...haha NEVER AGAIN!!!!
It's hard to say honestly. Sometimes the art depicts the armies in napoleonic like regimental formations, whereas for the most part it's all WW1/2 like, which wouldn't fit into Total War gameplay at all.
It's best to assume not until proven otherwise by CA magic.
40k is too shooty/mechanized to be fit into a melee-oriented system like Total War.
Something company of heroes-ish with some attention to melee fighting would probably work better.
>Something company of heroes-ish with some attention to melee fighting would probably work better.
Yeah, it's a pity that game doesn't exist.
Anon, we could have had a developer that embraced its uniquely dedicated and amazing modding community, the thing that made this series what it is; instead we got a developer that turned away from it, going so far as to remove it from steam workshop. The DLC cancer is clear, it might be possible to mod some aspects of warhammer. But that doesnt mean we shouldnt be mad at this precedent.
I'm glad none of you arse-weasels mentioned
IT THAT SHALL NOT BE NAMED
Poland here. How to stop the Mongols?
m8, CA have embraced modding from the beginning. It's the contract with GW that forced them from fully supporting modding with dedicated tools ans such. I'd rather have a Warhammer TW without mod tools than no Warhammer TW at all.
It will have exactly the same modding support as M2 did. So by your logic the only time CA cared about modders were from S2>Attila since that's when they offered workshop intergration. It's been said time and time again that the only reason they can't have a workshop this time is because the lisencing contract with GW doesn't allow it.
Seriously tired of the repetitive doomsayer shit posted in every thread. No the game won't be perfect, we get it. Trying to make it seem worse than it is all the time though is honestly just getting pathetic.
After a week or so of tinkering, I'm finally happy with the look of my Westphalians. Guess I'll play the campaign now...
It's all about dem dank maymays nigga
But seriously, if you buy cuckhammer you're a traitor to the franchise and should shoot yourself in the testicles
>tfw beat niggers using cats
Playing Theme of Sicily in Charlemagne. How did the Byzantines name their armies in that era? I've pretty much always been able to call my legions something simple like Legio I Germanica, for example, did that naming convention last?
tfw Your mum shows up at work to bug you about her wanting grandkids.
>tfw your gf doesn't want you hanging around with your buddies
>Son! Sonny! You be careful you don't get splinters climbing that siege ladder honey!
>That's my son! Look over there, that's my son, isn't he so handsome over there, oh look at him disembowel that boy over there
>Son, when are you gonna bring one of these nice foreign girls home? you're not getting any younger you know!
Can I win this shit or will the javelins fuck me. Small settlement battle.
Attacking minor settlement with onagers
So this is what will happen:
camp in a corner
You stand infront of your onagers and let them free fire while the AI charges you
your slingers will fucking murder their skirmishers, while your onagers lob death on their cavalry
take control of an onager as well and try to snipe the generals
when your slingers start taking heavy damage, fucking ruin the AI with your huscarls
Anyone knows a good set of standards for Saxons?
I keep getting those derpy birds...
i love the artstyle of angus macbride
he turns history into a metal album cover. in the world of angus macbride, every figure in history lived through the 70's, and that's fucking brilliant.
also: dominions: total war when?
>tfw i just found out he died
>tfw i just found out he lived in cape town, and was an expat
>tfw there will never be any more angus macbride pictures of guys with metal hair whaling on each other
why even live
would that do anything for the unit other than painting a big target on the leader for both sword and bow enemies? the guys in the rear don't identify their leader by his shield anyway.
So uhm... What do I do here? Do I gather as many stacks as I can and attack the Huns? I don't really feel like fighting a field battle against 200 horse archers and lancers desu.
They won't attack my settlements, and they completely bypassed Aquileia (fuck you CA)
Attila has not even taken over yet, this is just the gathering storm
Well, it does something for me in any case.
Besides, who wants to live forever?
>wanting to go to Valhalla
begone, ironclad heathen minx
does anyone have the image of Valhalla turning out to be a hellish nightmare world where skeletons are locked in eternal battle?
Been reading Chinese comcks, have we anon?
Asos, the Saxons probably had some sort of equivalent of a Warriors paradise.
that's the one, aye. always did strike me as weird that the idea of paradise was basically eternal war. being in a shieldwall sounds like a terrifying and brutal thing to do even once, why anyone would want to do it literally forever is beyond me.
Removed Widukind's stupid helmet so the man has some damn dignity.
All set to go to shed the blood of Frankish men.
Wish me luck, anons.
>axes, arrows, javelins and fiery balls flying at you at once
this is some PTSD shit
I'm responsible for 4 of them and partially responsible for 2 more. Making content is fun.
I created a couple of Antiochus images. I did my share.
I would go by Thema <province name>. Or because all of Sicily is supposed to be one theme Tourma <province name>. You could name the faction leader's stack after one of the tagmata for extra RP autism.
>the attila AI gets praised
I realize I'm corner camping, but come on
>besieging the last province in Spain
>pretty much the last province WRE has
>ERE already gone
>suddenly this guy reinforces
>Frankish king and last Roman Emperor duke it out 1v1
This was rad.
well I tried.
>is that such an unreasonable thing to ask for
No, but trying to be witty about "muh attila AI" when you're intentionally making it impossible for it to function properly it just makes you look like a twat.
Hey now, I agree the corner doesnt shed the AI in the best light, but youd think after so many games that theyd develop some sort of script for one-way attacks where they send the infantry first. As it stands, in any defensive situation, merely wait for the general to slam into you and hammer him. Shouldnt be that easy
why are my new Attila factions still not announced
practice practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, take screenshots in TW and use a filter, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice, practice
Practicing is an important part. However, the real secret are the "sekrit techniques" themselves.
Befriend an actual artist somehow and go to his/her workshop and work with him. No, I'm not saying that you go pay some retard to teach you, I'm saying that you befriend someone and have him show you a few quirks.
There are certain things you will simply never find out by practicing.
Something an old friend of mine used to say: "Wathever you are creating, make sure it makes sense from the start. If I come and say stop, and your sketch doesn't make sense, then you're doing something wrong."
In short, it means that you make a "whole" of your drawing, if you want to make a hot bitch, then make a whole sketch of her and work in equal parts. Don't get too entertained with the tits and cunt and forget about the rest.
Also, you will lose "inspiration" so you better have many things to work on. Whenever you get tired of A go work on B and so on. And keep in mind it will take time like you don't believe. Suddenly you'll feel weak due to starvation and dehydration because you spend 6 hours straight tinkering with something.
Moreover, irl drawing is a great way to start but digital drawing offers so many fucking liberties simply because of the ctrl+Z and more technically thanks to the fact that you can work in parts, having various layer to work. This means you can work completely on the left arm without any chance of it fucking up or dirtying the rest of the drawing.
Anyways. It's like actually liking beer. It takes years of doing it and doing it.
>Also, you will lose "inspiration" so you better have many things to work on.
Not that anon but I feel like that's my main struggle when drawing, can you provide any hot pro tips on how to figure out what you actually want to draw?
I don't know, anon. My friends would recommend always creating and never copying so that your imagination remains at its fullest potential and etc.
Like, you want to draw your Dark Souls character with their gear and shit. Well, don't. Grab all those things as reference and then mold into something that it's yours.
But in the end I'm not a professional artist like them. So whatever I say is shit by default. I have many drawings that I never touched again and they're just sitting there taking space.
>Like, you want to draw your Dark Souls character
I really don't have anything like that, no motive comes to mind
I just stare at a blank piece of paper and sit around trying to figure out what to put there
Things were better when I was young
Maybe I should just stop
Can anyone red pill me about this game? I'll try my first Total War game because of the sales, so I'll try this or Rome 2. Which one do you recommend me the most? Im looking for a good multiplayer experience, a nice campaign and good battles overall. I dont really care about the settings. Thanks!
>the scourge of Christ
>defeated by Gods chosen
>oh hey white huns are there to fix the sassanid problem, maybe I can play one of the desert factions now
>declare war on ERE to take their vassal's territory next to mine
>as soon as I've captured it the Sassykids declare war on me
>a few turns later them and all their client states have 2-3 full stacks of nothing but armenian spears and slingers in my territory
>white huns razing all their settlements yet they still go after me
fuck this AI desu
