I'm still working on it, but for now, just don't be a fag and if you haven't used all your assets in the prep phase you fucked up.
If you're not using your mic to scream "tango down" at strangers, you fucked up.

[if a consolefag wants to organize some kind of peasant gathering put it here]
>All the Classic Rainbow 6 games running on the latest engine, compatible with current windows, all maps, all modes.
The game is available on various key re-sellers for under the asking price. Consensus is that Nuuvem is the cheapest.
GET ON TS, WE PLAY TERROR HUNT, CASUALS AND RANKEDS ALL DAY.
You clearly don't even like the game, so why are you still posting? Also every shooter has headshots, they are never going away, because getting shot in the head does fucking kill a person.
Get over it nerd
>because getting shot in the head does fucking kill a person
>because being shot IN THE ARMS by an enemy and then proceeding to aim for a small target like the head WITH YOUR ARMS does kill a person
>get shot in the arms
>drop weapons, arms are now unusable
>run away and hide with my useless arms, unable to contribute for the rest of the match
Thank you anonymous cock gobbler, you sure fixed the game.
Seriously, you can just stop posting. The game is how it is, you whining on /vg/ isn't gonna change it
this fucking guy has been shitposting for hours...
you're literally the only person that thinks an fps, especially a semi-tactical one like Siege, should be sans headshot.
are you fucking retarded?
We all start from somewhere faggot, start now you really have nothing to lose.
>Be a better shot then. The game lets me aim while under fire, deal with it faggot
>the game has shitty netcode
>Just deal with it
>That's how Ubisoft made the game and won't change it.
Ubisoft won't casualize the game like you want. I'm sorry you get triggered everytime you shoot someone and they don't just stand there and let you kill them. Anyway I'm done arguing with a literal autist. I'm gonna play siege. And hey, I'll even get a few headshots for you~
>Being able to shoot for a small target like the head WHILE BEING SHOT
Yeah, it's called twitch reflex skill, ever heard of it baddie?
The first person to shoot the head wins the firefight. It's a smaller target, and if you have the jump on someone you should be able to hit it. If you can't, and get turned on, and the enemy gets a headshot, you should git gud because you are clearly absolutely garbage at shooters.
>now it is time for you to git gud
>why is this scrub not like me practicing mindlessly everyday to git gud with headshots
Then this game is more cancerous than CoD at this point.
There, I've fixed Tachanka.
The shield protects his body from all bullets. His exposed areas are his head and his legs below the knees.
Ash's breaching grenade can be used on the turret shield.
I'm sorry for this in advance, since it's fucking retarded and not adding anything of worth to the general, but I just picked up r6s and
I'm stuck in the main menu and don't know what to do.I've completed all of the Situations available (that's three, the rest are locked) on all difficulties and completed all of their objectives, I've watched all of the tutorials and that's it. Nothing else is unlocked, I can't navigate to the operaters, shop, multiplayer, fucking ubisoft club, anything. I feel like a piece of shit for asking this because I know I'm doing something wrong, I'm just too stupid to figure it out.
>get called a wall hacker and aim botter by a level 33
The problem with flinch in CoD is that it's completely random. Half the time you shoot someone first and they can still hit you easily. Other times you shoot them and their aim gets knocked way off. And on rare occasions you help them shoot you in the face.
That's what he was originally intended to do.
Pic related, he had a machine gun that could be mounted on any cover.
Dunno why they changed it.
>having skill is cancer
Que? You also assume that people who get that good do so by practicing endlessly, while it's usually just a product of them playing shooters on pc for so many years.
Woah man, I'm just a self respecting guy in society.
>suppress an enemy in an area and fix them in place
>tell your buddy to go around and flank him
>get headshot as you shoot 3-10 bullets into the guy's chest
>guy flanks around and gets headshot as he breaches into the enemy held area
>1 vs 2 won
well golly fuckwit i've never met anyone who braided their hair and i don't look up hair styling techniques because i'm not a woman
do you answer every quesiton asked in ignorance like you have PMS?
>bleeding out next to somebody
>they don't revive me
>we're both in the upstairs bathroom of the clubhouse, perfect cover
>he dies without firing a single round
Dumb piece of shit had enough time that he could have revived me 3-4 times.
>i've never met anyone who braided their hair
>and i don't look up hair styling techniques because i'm not a woman
You just need to be in the general proximity of a female in order to learn this.
Anyone else find the ACOG sight to be not very practical?
I wanted to use it as it was hard as shit to see enemies inside of a building or room. But once you enter the building, it becomes useless due to not being able to see shit as you're too close.
>chiseled facial structure
>im too stupid to even know how hair styles work
Oh boy, is it that time of the day again? The time where all the kids get on here and post shit that proves just how fucking useless and retarded they truly are?! LITERALLY CANT WAIT
literally none of the girls i know braid their hair, it's weird since i know braiding is popular in most places
they just let it hang out or have ponytails, the most i've heard from my womanfriends is they think it's too much effort
if it's really only 5 minutes then i guess they're lazy just like me
>Not keeping your hair short and styled
Are you actually implying im a girl? Do you know where you are kid?
>Not paying someone to do it for you because you can.
And now you actually think people don't get hair cuts at all. Wow, it's amazing how you haven't been hit by traffic yet.
>proving he's even more retarded than everyone here expected
Usually you need two people to braid your hair quickly, doing it solo is probably an actual skill.
The most common place that girls braid their hair publicly is in school, so it's more of an age thing.
I'm fucking done talking about this.
>acog is useless in CQB
>SOMETHING THAT SEES FAR AWAY SOMEHOW IS SHIT WITHIN MELEE DISTANCE
yeah no shit kid. all you did was show everyone here you're absolutely useless
You probably haven't fully downloaded the game. You can play situations while the game downloads but multiplayer cannot launch. exit the game and check it is installed and updated.
>yeah no shit kid. all you did was show everyone here you're absolutely useless
I like IQ because she reminds me of Trooperchan
Welcome to /r6s/ where it's filled with nothing but 15 year olds straight from cawadoody who don't like headshots, post google tier retarded questions, and defend themselves with shit like this >>127061263 >>127061408
In the situations presented in this game, where a highly-trained team of counter-terrorists are going up against terrorists who are probably pumped full of pcp/painkillers/amphetamines and are religious extremists fantasizing about their 72 virgins, it's understandable that the meta should be to aim for the head. But it would be cool if shooting someone in the foot or leg or hand or arm had different effects, and would fuck with their aim after 20-30 seconds without rook's armor. A shot to the chest with 5.56 and up without rook's armor should really fuck someone up, at least crack a rib and make them louder when moving.
With that being said, yes a headshot should totally kill/incapacitate someone. Maybe have a brain hitbox or something, and if you hit them in the jaw they are downed and their mic won't work anymore.
Wait is this for real? This is a new low for this general where someone thought their game was fucking broken when they didn't even install the entirety of the game.
I'm done. Nothing can save this hell.
Someone buy me this game. I have a mic, and I do team plays pretty well. Tried it during the beta, and the free weekend. I would have bought it if I had the cash, but I got a dead car that needs reviving. Surely some of you rich people can understand?
>I'm done. Nothing can save this hell.
Back to TF2/CoD with you.
No problem friend. Someones gotta keep this general on topic. Good luck in the game.
>thought their game was fucking broken
No, I'm just a retard who didn't know what he was doing. I've never had a game say that it was finished installing, but still download other assets. But yes it's on me, I'll only lurk from now on.
>That's what he was originally intended to do.
>Pic related, he had a machine gun that could be mounted on any cover.
I don't remember the devs explicitly saying this. Since this is concept art, you're just making assumptions.
>approaching the house (forgot which map) see somebody placing a barricade in the window
>empty magazine into it to try and hit him, no luck
>suddenly two retards appear in the window, shooting randomly out into the yard
>kill them both with headshots
Holy fuck was that satisfying. I wish the rest of the round went well, but the worlds dumbest Sledge team killed me about 40 seconds latter while I was hunting down their roamer.
>Carried a 2v5 defense when one guy left and a noob accidentally detonated nitro in spawn killing himself and another guy
>Carried the next assault round as IQ 2v5 when another guy left and one guy blew himself up with his breach charge
I think this is going to be a good year.
Kinda wish I had shadowplay or something.
>two minutes left on the clock
>1 v 3, with me being the one
>enemy gets cocky and starts running through the house like a pack of elephants, while I'm slowly crouching my way through the map
>kill two of the guys, less than 45 seconds left
>slowly, SLOWLY sneak towards the objective
>team is fucking shouting at me to hurry up
>continue to slowly, SLOWLY sneaking
>drop into the objective room, 10 seconds left
>team is already mad at me for losing
>kill the last enemy with LITERALLY ONE SECOND left on the clock
I honestly thought I had fucked it up, and I doubt I'll ever win 1 v 3 again. Ash is now my waifu.
In ranked yeah. The software side anticheat sucks, so all the dev team has to go on are manual reports, and getting good evidence is hard in ranked with no killcam.
They tend to stay out of casual because the killcam makes them very easy to spot there.
Happy new year, /r6g/
Thanks for the
Happy New year anon. Hope your breaches are clean and your fuze's don't kill the hostages
I've been doing it as a self-imposed challenge lately.
The 552 is a good fucking gun, but the only real use I've gotten from her power is tracking a few dumbasses with laser sights, and to spot a few kapkan traps without ever seeing the door they're on.
>I've been doing it as a self-imposed challenge lately.
That's why I've been using Tachanka the past week or two. I could go Bandit and get a guaranteed several kills but it's funner and harder getting kills with the turret.
>tfw it's the GIGN penis inspection day
>pull my pants down in front of Doc so he can check me
>get erect because of how cold it is in his office
>can tell he's smiling behind his balaclava at the size of my johnson
>hear him chuckling to Rook later behind my back
I fucking hate operating with the GIGN
If there was no opportunity for individual skill to triumph over sheer numbers then the game should just be decided by which team gets the first kill, because then the other team is outnumbered.
What you're failing to see is that a game where individual skill (twitch reflexes, situational awareness, etc) is the only thing that matters is EXACTLY as cancerous as a game where only teamwork (communication, positioning, timing) matters because in both cases the match is already decided as soon as it begins. Both the ability for a player to work with their team and their own individual skill have to matter or else matches will just invariably be landslides.
>muh headshots over skill + teamwork
>Sometimes I shoot though random walls while approaching objective rooms for that one in a hundred time I connect and some spaz flips his fucking shit about hacks.
Reading comprehension, motherfucker. Both matter. In that situation you posted above, it's pretty much equally possible that the two successfully pin the guy down and riddle him with bullets as it is that he manages to pull off the headshots- depending, of course, on how good of a shot the one player is and how coordinated the other two are.
Which is a good thing. If ever time the game came down to a 2v1 scenario the 1 was guaranteed to lose regardless of his individual skill, the game should just end with a victory right then rather than continue. Ditto with 2v3, 3v4, and 4v5- if all that matters is sheer numbers then the game's win condition should be just to kill a single enemy instead of the whole team. The fact that a single individual with high skill CAN turn the tide back is an important feature of the game.
I don't play ranked. Was originally going to wait 'til I got good, but since everyone's on about hackers and premades I think I'll pass.
>hiding like a little bitch in a small room in hotel/cafe map
>hear guy enter and run past the room I'm in
>sneak out crouched to flank them
>they are distracted and shooting down a hallway
>I aim to take the shot
>they do a 180 and perfectly head-shot me (remember I was crouched, so a good guess I suppose)
I asked and he called me a salty cunt and that his headphones were really good at hearing enemy footsteps.
But I also have really good headphones and play with high volume. Didn't hear shit in the killcam, he just knew I was behind him.
The major factor in knowing he was a cheeky cunt was he could 1v5 my team on assault, but when not moving in defense he got steamrolled. Outlines when defending is basically like Pulse ability.
That's for one operator. Nice try. I can do it too.
Good, give us the SCAR rifle first
>tfw Castle uses his kevlar to trap you in a room and everyone dies because you didn't want to take it down
every fucking time I have a castle, they trap me in a room
>place barricades away from team to protect specific rooms and create killing floors
>teammates break them down when they want to go into that specific room for an unknown/unannounced reason
>enemy team uses exploit to get out of building and run to our spawn
>kill 3 of us with c4
>pariah and mcgurk 2v5 them
>they beat us next round on defense and start shit talking 2-1
>they cheat next round too but only kill 1 of us
>shit on them with drone support and call outs/communication
RWG and snow are hot trash
>play a game
>team starting to lose
>pick Blitz or Montagne and just solo the enemy team myself because shield
okay i'm going to be fucking honest
shield characters are hilarious to use I don't think I've ever had this much fun in an fps
the combination of it making my character immortal and the rage you see in enemies when they unload on you and you just hipshot them from behind the shield is unreal.
>go on ranked and expect at least as much communication as csgo, if not more since it's a tactical shooter
>am the only person talking
>eventually just stop talking because nobody even cares
>And you should never underestimate how thoroughly the turret can wreck a team who isn't expecting it.
Yeah, I love setting it up at the main entrance to a building or a window I know they will come through.
Unfortunately, the turret is only useful for the initial engagements. I don't see much long-term value in it.
>1337 bandit roamer pretends to know what he is doing
>Turns out to be indecisive faggot who can't defend
>Have to place all my barricades after the prep stage because of this
>Mute has placed all his jammers to block drones and double doors
Castle is the hardest solo mode
>Poland being portrayed as a kike
it's not portraying him as a kike, it's portraying him as being glad he didn't let a bunch of muslims and niggers into his country.
>play operators like ash and bandit
>gets tons of kills, win nearly every round
>switch to tachanka and other "gimmick" classes
>barely any kills, just a couple each match
>still prefer to play tachanka and the others
I think 4chan's "contrarian" nature has infected me. I can't enjoy the good classes because everyone else uses them. I can only use the shitty classes that no one else uses in order to have fun, but I don't get as many kills.
ACOG. I could explain why it is the best sight, and everyone should practice using it, but the shittier people playing, the better for me.
Tho seriously, put ACOGs on all your guns and PRACTICE.
I don't think ACOG is that great of a sight for all the guns in the game except two.
Those being the AR-33 and 417. 417 makes perfect sense but the AR-33. I can't believe how it feels so perfect on that gun but it just does.
ACOG for rifles, red dot for smgs, and reflex/ironsights for shotguns is the way i go.
It suits the 552 very well too.
I must say, however, that putting it on the 417 is kind of silly. The recoil on that rifle is so bad that you would have to sit in place for far too long a moment if you wanted to get two shots off at the same target.
And you'll want at least two shots, unless you're trying to headshot, but in that case any other weapon would do just as well.
Just tear it down. If he spergs out, just tell him to put it back up again since that shit gets reimbursed into his inventory. Or at the start of the round, just tell him you're leaving the room before he locks it down.
I proclaim that no one in this general has 100+ hours and is able to pull off a consistently good K/D, as I have.
>execute shitter cause hes a bigger liability than being alive
>somehow i'm the bad guy
I have 2000 renowned. I have unlocked Sledge, Thatcher, Ash, IQ, Pulse, Doc, Rook, Tachanka, and Jager. Who should I unlock? Who will give me the most free kills? As of right now Jager is the only operator I have a positive KDR with.
How important is mic communication in this game?
Does it have any kind of chat wheel or anything other than text chat?
It is very important. Sure, there are a lot of mic-shy people out there, but I think this game helps with some people. Even if its just "tango, SW staircase" things its massively helpful and helps break people in to more descriptive teamwork microphone stuff
Amazed by how many people actually don't know their left from right in this game. It's absolutely pathetic and when I point out that they looked in the opposite direction from what I said they just pretend they didn't hear what the fuck
>have to win all 3 rounds in a row in ranked for a trophy
>have to play 50 rounds of ranked for a uplay achievement
>I'm a gigantic pussy shitter with nearly twice as many deaths as kills
This will not be a good time.
>Glaz on Kanal
>all those fucking windows
Trophies/achievements in this game are butts.
>100 defend the hostage terrorist hunt wins
>200 penetration kills in terrorist hunt
>kill trophies that rely more on luck than skill
Makes me glad I'm playing this game for
alpha was complete shit, closed beta has been delayed then IT was shit, sub 30fps gameplay out the ass, etc etc.
I wanted it to be the console version of Arma2's DayZ, but it looks like a port of actual DayZ instead, as in they stopped working on it and gave up.
Nine more months, man. /r6g/ will still be alive by then, r-right?
If you are playing hostage it's the shit. Toss them into places you think they'll be and hide behind the hostage until you hear the end of the mag then run out the door with sausage intact. It's unexpected and almost always works
No. Smokes are really good for open areas if you throw them directly on the enemy because you know they're going to be in the smoke so you can spray them while they're blind and are forced to run out the smoke to get any vision.
In small areas like the entirety of this game, throwing a smoke only prompts them to spray the shit out of the only spots you can possibly enter through, and you can't spray them back because the limited movement doesn't give you many options to get a better angle and spray them down. It's basically a waste of a slot unless you throw them randomly to cause a distraction.
>Tfw the name I wanted is already taken on uplay
Well I guess I'm just gonna go with the dankest meme name you guys can come up with.
What should my name be? Maybe you'll run across me and see the name you chose
>Accidentally shoot some nigger
>He shoots me down to 20 HP
>Execute him like the nigger he is for doing that
>His entire gang bang of niggers come chase me down
>Execute one more nigger before dying
Wait hang on a fucking second. I have to spend 25k renown on the new operators which I already paid for with the season pass?
Plus there's a fucking option to pay 5 bucks to skip that?
Whats the fucking point of this season pass then
I don't want to be your bf cute anime girl
I wish I could say I haven't ran into fags with names exactly like that. Especially the kirito part. That anime blew the fuck up
>I have to spend 25k renown on the new operators which I already paid for with the season pass?
No you don't. If you own the season pass you get the operators one week early, and for free.
People who don't own the season pass have to pay 25k per operator
>I don't want to be your bf
no if you have the season pass you get them for free and a week early
8 days they'll auto unlock for you
>>>I don't want to be your bf
at least I have my anime!
this isn't your everyday shitposting...
this is advanced shitposting
Your anime isn't there for you either.
You can't hurt me through the computer screen!
>You can't hurt me through the computer screen!
>just bought the game
>played all the campaign missions
>buy a few operators, including IQ because I loved the AUG
>first round of multiplayer ever
>all the other operators I chose were taken so I picked IQ
>over mic: "YOU FUCKING CUNT NOBODY LIKES IQ 'OHHHH I'M A GIRL IN REAL LIFE I HAVE TO PLAY AS A GIRL' FUCK YOU FUCKING PUSSY ASS BITCH
is there a mute all function? these people are no better than CoDfags
Hope some newbie is dumb enough to step into them. Or just electrify walls. Also learn 2 roam.
To be perfectly honest, a whole lot of gadgets are useless because of how obvious they are.
As far as I'm aware, there's no mute option at all.
Roam, flank, don't be a hero. Whenever your team starts to get all disorganized is usually when the time is right to sneak around back and get a few good shots in.
You're welcome to stay unenlightened, but if you want to reach >>127085401 levels of play, you'll need to get over yourself and convert.
Is this game worth it? I played it in the beta and thought it was ok. Its 25% off on steam right now.
Check all the other key vendors. I've put in a shitload of hours, so I think for myself it has been worth it, but I wouldn't take the $45 dollar leap unless you really enjoyed yourself in the beta and want to make an effort to play for a while. It'll take a bit for you to learn all the nuances and such, otherwise if you play only for about 20 hours or so, you'll feel like a shitter the entire time.
Other than that, its a great game, its easy to find a crew in TS that will roll with you, and theres a pretty good skill gap for those that find themselves getting truly better at the game. It rewards you for learning the mechanics and such.
I'd say so
I've got a little over 100 hours into it and don't see myself stopping anytime soon
The game is just good clean tactical fun
The guys on r6g TeamSpeak are mostly really nice folks
We win a lot but have fun in the process by messing around
You can mute, but it's annoying, also pretty sure it won't save between matches. Bring up scoreboard, use arrow keys to navigate down to the player you want, hit enter then mute option should be there. Mind you sometimes it randomly just skips over a player.
Alternate option is go into settings and lower mic receive volume to zero.
>if you have any which i doubt
Youre right about the friends thing but thats ok if the game has an active vg.
Ok fuck it I'll buy it I need a good fps to play, I like insurgency but I dont know anyone who plays it.
>There's a 14 year old on the TS
>He's a squeaker
>But he's nice and kind of cool
>But he's 14
>And a squeaker
>But at the same time he's cool
Don't know how to feel about this feel
Guys, when is ubisoft going to be progressive and allow us to play as trans operators?
Remove trans scum. Everyone knows that trans people never find love.
Goddamn it I hate this matchmaking system. Why the hell would it put me and bunch of pubs with no mics against a team of fags working together.
On top of that it never gave me more players for my team when I lost fucking teammates.
>toned it down on the cursing
>Come on guys I'm 19 and my voice still occasionally cracks
Explains why this general is so shit if most of the kids here are around your age and STILL have voice cracks
>Explains why this general is so shit if most of the kids here are around your age and STILL have voice cracks
I don't understand
How does something biological about me that I have no control over make me a lesser human being
You're superior because you were born earlier? Lol
Might be a double edged sword because that might cause longer matchmaking and splitting the community. Then again having this system would force players to actually buy a mic, which is good.
This isn't a skill or a talent, it's literally something out of my control
Your voice doesn't crack anymore wow what an accomplishment
Time to go try and feel superior on an anonymous image board made for Cantonese cartoons
Literally the only thing you pride yourself in is something you yourself didn't do
>This isn't a skill or a talent, it's literally something out of my control
6 billion jews were killed because of something out of their control. Doesn't mean they were any less inferior for it
>spouting projection in these situations usually works
Go back to /v/
Your current set of generic rebuttals got stale already
I'd also get your superiority complex checked out
I know the typical thing most retards say is go back to call of duty but jesus christ I've seen way dumber people play this game.
People will legit sit in the same corner the entire round, keep trying to breach the same muted wall, and generally do things I think even cod kiddies wouldn't do.
No aim assist on consoles is hilarious, though. Nobody can hit shit.
>People will legit sit in the same corner the entire round, keep trying to breach the same muted wall
I've had defenders on my team barricade themselves in a small room, and nonstop try breaking a concrete wall to make a hole to shoot through. Or even worse, they barricade themselves in that one room in the center of the plane, where there's a walkway on either side of the room, and they blasted fucking 5 giant holes everywhere, leaving themselves completely exposed because muh window holes
>not kissing girls
I want the gays to leave!
You know those things have diseases, right?
OH GOD THE WALLS THE WALLS
the greatest part of that video is all the times the dude just runs into a room or our a window and the player immediately gives up following "fuck I lost him
Does anyone like using this sight? I'm thinking of changing it out as it blocks out the head.
That's the problem. It doesn't shoot at the tip of the triangle and it isn't in the center of the triangle either. It's like run under the tip of it. Which is the reason it's hard to tell if I'm over his head properly or not.
>people get to this point where they are so fucking fat they can't get up
>family and friends still bring them disgusting amounts of food for some reason
I never understand this. Just bring them water, and small servings of healthy food until he slims down
Well at the current moment, my shots don't even register while I die off screen to a bullet that decided to make a hard 90 degree turn. I think just asking for a functioning game is too much to ask.
Couple of threads ago I remember people were talking about a shield with a mounted rifle on it as one of the new Canadian operators. Was this ever true or just pure speculation from the general?
You misheard, the future US operator will have an AR with a shield
It seems to take up his primary like Glaz with his DMR only.
AR my fellow operator,
Oh, you meant a SHIELDED weapon. That's pretty fucking cool. Seems really really fucking useless though. I mean, bullets seem to already go through full shields magically. Except based Monty of course.
>people just throw c4 without any real repercussions to kill a shield and the teammate near him
I love this game but fuck is that annoying as a Monatgne player.
>insertion by helicopter
>tactical map planning
>terrorists look like actual terrorists
>defenders can actually leave the area without a huge beacon on them
>no token kike and nigger
>no insta-headshot deaths
Why the fuck did they dumb down the game so hard? This infuriates me.
Since we're talking about Montagne
How is he supposed to be used? I can absorb bullets with the full shield all day but what am I supposed to do then?
Mute is necessary. If you have any amount of brains, you will get your team a bonus 100 points every roundstart for keeping objective hidden, as well as 50 or so from disabled drones. Make sure to place jammers just behind barricades so they can't be jumped over, be sure to get the floorvent, and use your fourth one on your most important reinforced wall to prevent Thermite detonation.
Castle is also a necessity, but only if you play him properly. Use his barricades further out from the objective, even better if you use cameras at roundstart to determine point of entry and focus them on that side. Even better better if you use one as a decoy on a side door that you can camp an eye on from across a hallway.
Bandit is also in high demand right now because of his ability to completely negate Thermite. At roundstart, help your Mute with keeping drones out by placing electric razorwire at a door opposite one he's using. Once the round starts, pick your batteries back up and put them on reinforced walls to keep out the Googly-Eyed Menace.
Push up on the enemies and become a living distraction. I main Monty with 2 other friends and they tear shit up while I get in the enemies face. If they look at my buds I aim in and headshot them.
Monty is based for team-play. Best team-play shield while Blitz is 1v1 surpreme
Block bullets, play smart, and get right in the enemies face. Watch for nitros cells.
>I can absorb bullets with the full shield all day but what am I supposed to do then?
Point out enemies. Make a distraction. Be mobile cover for your friendlies by putting yourself on walk.
>no allies to back me up
>guy in door, down the hallway, too far away to flash
>he goes for the reload
>ADS, shoot him in the head
>repeat two more times until I run into a sentient Kapkan
>runs around, flanks me, takes almost all my HP
>runs away when I return fire
>sneaks up on me while I'm dealing with the other player
>c4 around a corner
that was a fun game.
You shopuldn't ever get separated. Always keep one friend with you. If you don't have friends, i wouldn't suggest playing Monty.
But, if you are ever in a 1v1 just block bullets and always look at the enemy. If he rushes, back up or just aim in and headshot or spam. I prefer the standard pistol over the magnum just for spam.
Always keep your shield extended. You're virtually immortal from the front. Shotguns seem to do little damage through it from time to time, but not enough to panic you.
Nah. You can your first operator just by "watching" the three tutorial videos(ie, opening them and closing them immediately)
Doing the situations, which are basically singleplayer campaign missions, get you enough renown for several more operators.
That aside, I think the progression is really good. You get around 250+ renown each match you finish, and the operators cost 500 renown initially. The cost goes up to 2000 for your final 5 operators.
*renown = currency
It's pretty quick. You can get your first operator with just the rep you get from watching tutorial vids, and by the time you finish the situations (basically an extended tutorial) YOu should be able to afford a few more. At worst it still only takes a couple of games between unlocking the next operator.
>enemies are on third floor, I'm attacking
>run to building, start rappelling
>get killed before I even breach a window
A fucker just ran outside and started spraying at everyone rappelling, and then talked shit after
No, enemies should either be killed after a few seconds outside or they should have their ability to do damage taken away.
a notification that they're their doesn't help when all five of them already know where you are, or when you're 2v5 and they're coming at you, ignoring the objectives entirely.
really they need a DM mode where the roamers and other fags can be xXMLGPROzXx
In all seriousness, you need at least one roamer to harass the enemy, slow them down, and prevent them from setting up an ideal breach. All the defenders in the objective room means things can get clausterphobic fast, and if there's a fuse on the other team, it could mean a squad wipe. I prefer sitting back and defending, but roamers are an important part of the game.
I can, when I've died to them once already and they're doing it every round.
I totally understand a short detour to surprise an enemy from another angle, but doing it from a second story window while they're setting up a door is horseshit.
The point is they shouldn't be allowed to just run outside and get a free kill at the beginning of the round. Especially when they break a window from above and start mowing you down while you're out in the open, and they're safely behind cover
>at the people securing hiding behind a window and firing at you while you have little to no cover at all out in the open
You're fucking retarded if you don't see a problem with this scenario
Mate, this is why you advance slowly towards the house instead of running in the open like a retard. You're practically asking for someone to shoot you. It's your own fault. There's plenty of cover on the maps for you to advance safely.
It can be avoided by just keeping an eye on the windows and making sure you're in or near cover when you get closer.
Are you the headshot shitposter? Why are you so bad at the game.
>Mate, this is why you advance slowly towards the house instead of running in the open like a retard
There's a time limit. If you have to proceed cautiously to even reach the house you're definitely gonna be pressed for time.
They shouldn't be exiting the house or immediately breaking windows to fire out of. It's a very clear unfair advantage when they have all the cover they could want and can just pick you off
Just refresh the page after like 5 seconds and it'll be fine
Most of the TS players are just over 2.0 continue playing with them, and once they all break 100 hours they'll be about the same. Steam has 105 hours logged, Ubi website has like 60 and im over 2.
Just put a - at the end of your usual tag like the rest of the cool kids. You could be a massive dick and add a "The" at the beginning if the dash is taken
>they're shooting at you before you've even entered the building
>entering the building in a semi-safe manner takes alot of time
>"just go to the objective"
I'm really pretty okay with people shooting from the windows, they's to be expected in a realistic scenario.
>There's a time limit
You've clearly made mistakes if you're actually pressed for time. The majority of the time, being pressed for time is due to indecisiveness and people spending too much time droning/sitting around as attackers.
And no, it is not an unfair advantage, since you can do the same thing to them. Plus you have the superior weapons at distance and shields
headshot being an instakill is stupid with how fucking huge some of the head hitboxes are in this game.
if they want it to really be even, shotguns would have headshots, and all the instakill hitboxes would be exactly the same size.
I mean, if a subsonic low caliber pistol round can one-shot kill, a 00-Buck ball can one-shot kill
>And no, it is not an unfair advantage, since you can do the same thing to them
Yes it is an unfair advantage for the defending team.
>break window spray at enemy team, kill one
>they return fire
>lol I'll just walk back into the hall, can't get me anymore
>4v5 now, totally not unfair
If you have to waste a lot of time slowly sneaking to the building itself, making sure no ones gonna kill you before you even reach it then yes, you are going to be pressed for time.
All you have to do is scan the windows and doors facing you, and if they're all unbroken, you can run right up to the building. If they're broken, or if one breaks, go for cover. That's all it takes. It's your own damn fault for not checking and assuming there would be safe spaces for attackers. There are no safe spaces for defenders, don't expect the same for attackers.
Plus, when they do that shit, it practically highlights where their heads are going to be, so if you actually bothered to check like you should, it's an easy 5v4 in favor of your team.
Also consider not doing the drone dance during setup and actually sweep the area for people busting out windows, or prepping outside the objective area
>There are no safe spaces for defenders
Except the entire house when the game first starts. They have the luxury of not being in any danger at all before I even reach the building. I only ask that I have that same luxury, and not get killed by someone before I even entter
They lose that luxury just as soon as you do. Right when they break that window. There are plenty of ways to deal with it. Whining about it instead of learning to use it to your advantage only hurts the game, not make it more fun.
>walk up to an enemy as radical larry
>literally touching right beside them
>slowly walk to his face
>laugh myself walking towards to objective and get sniped by glaz
That's because ranked is literally full of hackers.
>playing right now
>doing great as blitz, killed two people, we're grouped outside their barricaded room
>tell them to hold up, my drones still alive
>I send it in
>while it's in a wall explodes
>they breached while I was scouting
The fuck man
Those 7.62x39 rounds would have to have lost almost all of their energy in order to be stopped by a helmet.
At the ranges you face in R6:S, helmets wouldn't protect from rifles. And who knows whether or not you use armor-piercing ammunition in your pistol-caliber weapons?
Is it only me, or kool-aid man is bullshit tier?
I hate playing mute.
tfw level 68 and know all staircases and beginning to learn every room/ recognize callouts
every character is good in their own way that being said i refuse to play montagne or smoke because they're my least efficient characters
seriously how the fuck do you get people with smoke when they're even half decent
Blitz is meant to win 1v1. If you feel fragile as him you're a shitter. Just play with him more and get the feel of it. Constantly be on the move with Blitz. Flash wait a second for them to stop panic shooting, and just headshot them.
yeah good point. i keep trying to set traps but hes better at that... to be honest he would be really good against teams who wait till the last 30 seconds to do something. thanks
I seriously don't understand the hate for IQ
>can shut down Kapkan and smoke and the likes
>can find bombs if they're not discovered by drones
>awesome selection of weapons
>can assist team mates if you use VOIP properly.
she's weak as piss though and a strong breeze would DBNO her.
Who /connectionwarrior/ here?
>can shut down Kapkan and smoke and the likes
So can everyone else
>can find bombs if they're not discovered by drones
Not an issue if you've played the game for a week
>awesome selection of weapons
As cool as they are 1 shot kills make the selection minor
>can assist team mates if you use VOIP properly.
If you had Twitch or Thatcher you wouldn't need assistance to take out gadgets
Capcom is good as a roamer, traps are fun you just have to place them where people wouldn't expect them ie away from the object, usually entrances to the building.
Tachy is good even though no one here likes him. The HMG tears through enemies, problem is just finding a place the game allows you to place it.
even if a lot of those things can be superceeded, especially for new players isn't it convenient to have all in one package?
Plus i definitely wouldnt say she's the "worst" that'd be some one like Ash.
Seriously whats the point in having to stand away from a breach point if you have to walk through it anyway, and then the element of surprise is gone..
