I've been killing for a F2P MMO to play and it just seems like there is nothing. Black Desert Online's beta was awful and its just a korean grindfest that actually plays itself; Blade & Soul seems like it could have potential to be good.

I just want a game to play.

I just started Neverwinter on my Xbone and it isn't exactly the worst. It's passable. I'm waiting for BnS, though. Have been for... God, forever.

I tried the BnS beta, I literally could not understand why I was so fucking bored in a game with such interactive combat.

Everything looked really ugly with an assload of bloom slapped on it, and it just felt incredibly generic.

Oddly enough the combat just felt terrible, boring and incredibly ping reliant. It didn't help that everything basically felt like it was an afterthought tacked on to some "arena e-sports simulator" or some shit.

I guess it's nice that's it's going to be f2p but to me I feel like it's going to end up a blunder.

Tera is pretty good. The combat's fucking fantastic, the game world is enormous, and you can make a pretty cute character if you try.

Major problems right now are class balance, endgame gear grind, and the general lack of endgame content until march. But if you're just starting out, that won't really be an issue for you. Now's actually a good time to start.

Doesn't help that the western developers are censoring the outfits and neutering the quest text. Or that the game is basically centered around pvp and happens to be VERY ping dependent in that regard.
