Undertale thread No shit-posting edition
Your honest opinion on this game?
Never played it and never will because the fanbase makes it fucking unbearable.
If you like this game, you should quickly remove yourself from the gene pool to further better humanity.
Autistic haters and fanbase though.
Think that it has some nice artistic stuff to it.
Motifs out the wazzoo.
I like it.
Music is nice.
Characters are memorable (even for the wrong reasons)
Hate how it gets shitposted to death
Hate how people get mad at a game.
It's just a game.
I played this a little bit but it seemed to be really boring.
I also played 'life is strange' a little bit but found the hipsterishness really grating.
But, I experienced 'gone home' and really enjoyed it, although I realise that it is a one-time stunt.
Undertale, I do not get, I mean, I can see perfectly well that the Emperor is naked, yet I keep hearing how awesome his clothes are (and his fucking soundtrack).
it's annoying that these threads get deleted on sight while off topic threads and LOL threads reach bump limit
I've played hundreds of RPGs in my life and its easily the most endearing and memorable.
It's a masterpiece to me.
WHY ARE UNDERTALE FANS THE FUCKING WORST
Undyne is favorite character
Her undying theme is my favorite song as well
Mediocre art game that has clever ideas, but fails to follow through on many of them. I especially hate the anti-completionist, "if you don't play the game this one specific way, you're an evil asshole" message. Good music though.
Its good, but the true ending pisses me off.
How can you get me attached to these characters and then ask me not to replay it?
If there's a message on being attached to fiction it's trying to send, it either does it terribly, or it's a shit message.
What's more, even if you make a good thread, it will be deleted by dumbass mods because it has a general. Even though the general is pile of shit where you can never have a discussion.
It's the only game to bring genuine tears out of me and fill me with some kinda emotion towards it's story. The characters are charming, the humor's actually good, and for a first game by the developer, the gameplay is refreshing as well.
I feel like the spare mechanics are kind of... rough. Having the same tactic needed to spare Asgore prove to be fatal to people like Toriel, or some characters having to be stalled until you can actually spare them, it makes it seem like a cheap cop-out of an actual way to diplomatically spare them.
But then again, it's Toby's first game. For a first game, it's unbelievably great. I still consider it one of my favorite games of the year, maybe even game of the year, but that's just me. Also, only soundtrack I've bought in ten years.
Also, the fanbase is horrible.
I should know, I run a Sans roleplay blog.
Literally objectively the worst game ever made. If you disagree, you're wrong tbqhwy senpai.
If it came out like 15 years ago it would be good. Idk why games with absolute shit graphics are still being made, i blame minecraft. Does anyone remember when notch used to post here and said the graphics were only a placeholder and it would have good graphics later? If only
It's a place to exile FotM games. They're shoved in their little spot where they can only talk about one thing and it gets overrun with fags because it's too niche. And then reasonable people can't talk about the game anywhere.
/vg/ was a mistake.
Something about it really got to me.
The characters, story, and gameplay are good, not great, but somehow the combination created something greater than the sum of its parts.
It's my GOTY 2015, and I'll remember it fondly for years to come.
When will the fucking nightmare end and faggots stop making these goddamn threads
I liked the game at first, now i hate it because of you cock mongling faggots
eat shit and die, all of you
You can absolutely have a discussion /utg/, just nobody does because they either a) get scared off because everybody's circlejerking or b) are currently circlejerking instead posting a discussion.
If you start the discussion, you'll get responses.
What are you talking about?
9/10, game dragged on through the Hotlands portions. Otherwise it was a great time.
Fanbase gets a bad rep because of a rather loud portion of Tumblr. There's lots of good fanart hidden beneath the thin layer of shit.
It's shit, man. But if I said that, I'm going to be disregard as a retard or a troll.
Yeah fuck you man. I wish that porn dumping guy still here. Even Dragon Dogma shilling is still better compare to Undertale spam.
Actually I'm fine with people not liking the game as long as they're not condescending as fuck and "muh tastes are superior" about it
Also I wish I knew the source of that image
>sans roleplay blog
It better be true to character instead of all that emo crap.
>Say something is shit
>give zero reason why
>Act offended when people call you a faget
I can't believe I share a board with people this stupid.
>Implying most threads are made my faggots who want to revel in shitposting
>It's shit, man. But if I said that, I'm going to be disregard as a retard or a troll.
No, I'll only do that if you say I'm not allowed to discuss it. I don't care what you think of it.
not reading this sure-to-be shitflinging of a thread but fuck OFF eternally with this. I'm pretty sure people just make these threads with the intent to piss me off about this fucking meme game.
YES I AM MAD
When you really think about it, it shouldn't come as a surprise that Undertale's fanbase is mostly awful.
Not since Sonic the Hedgehog has a game attracted such a cavalcade of cancerous fucks all at once.
>anthro character designs appeal to furries
>jrpg gameplay appeals to weeaboos
>pixel art indie game with canon gay/lesbian couples appeals to tumblr fucking shits
>relatively kid friendly, so lots of children in the fanbase as well
>fun but not particularly brilliant meta-commentary, so that all of the above think the game is a shitzillion times smarter than it actually is.
That soundtrack is still pretty sick though.
POST FANMADE HARD MODE MOD IDEAS
NO LOGIC NEEDED
Grillby battle http://imgur.com/a/oTc1J
>Asgore absorbs the six human souls and destroys your FIGHT button and you have to whittle his will to fight down by ACTing and saying stuff like "How many subjects have died from your cowardice?" And telling him you're actually his kid. He could barely fight Frisk in a neutral run, how could he cope with the fact knowing that he was trying to kill his own child?
>Gerson tries his best to fight you. His attacks are slow because of his age, but if it were a bit faster it would've been super hard. You can go into the files and edit the fun values to end up with a Gerson battle that's actually formidable, as if he was still in his prime.
>Papyrus and Sans double team you after Papyrus realizes he'll be killed if he gets too close, and he realizes you can't be saved, so he runs. He's still trying to save you, but Sans is talking him out of it during the battle
you can ACT to make them argue about their beliefs about how they should go about it, Sans wanting to destroy you while Papyrus holds back, and you can kill one in a surprise attack. The other becomes enraged and goes fucking nuts
>Greatest dog, it's a Doberman
>Snowdrake's Fathah tries to avenge his son, and fails miserably. Checking him says "It will be funny when he dies."
>Alphys gets over her cowardice and injects herself with more determination than anything else
> she artificially redeems her own character, gains ridiculous power,
and makes her attacks much like a traditional bullet hell since she's a weebas a last ditch effort to stop you
>alternatively she fuses with the Amalgamates after melting down herself and becomes a hulking mass determined to end you
>or even more alternatively we get Metal Gear Alphys in a giant mech
>A more polished (and finished) version of this Chara boss fight http://vt.tumblr.com/tumblr_o0eopjb0g71u4mc4h.mp4
I had a pretty rocky experience playing Undertale. I didn't want to kill anything but Toriel said to show to her that I am strong enough for the monsters and asgore.
>attacked her a couple times
>did a million attack and killed her
>restarted since I wasn't trying to do that
Flowey rubbed it in my face what I did and after that I just couldn't enjoy myself. I really was in a depressed mood for the entirety of the game, even after it tried to lighten things up with Mettaton and shit.
it's an alright game
lol too bad
fuck yourself faggot :^)
post-pacifist, sans is a lazy son of a bitch as usual, punishes everyone with puns and the usual, spends his spare time eating grillby's with frisk. you're not the only one sick of the emo crap.
>the board that hates videogames
>what's my point
>dumbass picking on people on an anonymous forum and being a mean little shit
Not doing it man.
I'm on hiatus, anyway.
People on tumblr for some reason have been making Sans out to be the main character, of sorts. Overblowing the lines that he says in the genocide run, "you don't know how it feels" and all that shit. His low character profile and room for canon due to the secrets he's been hiding just makes him an easy character for people to imprint their insecurities and angst on.
Dude, I've seen a Sans blog that, like... He is to Undertale as Homura is to Madoka Magica. It gets so bad, and the alternate universes people keep proposing make it so much worse.
the shitposting wouldn't be so bad if there was actual effort put into it.
4chan has gotten so lazy about it. Back in my day when you would troll and shitpost, it meant something.
Offtopic threads at least have people talking and posting something that resembles new content.
Undertale threads are might as well be the same group of people reading off basically the same script every time.
i hate watching people play games i've already played. there's no enjoyment for me.
Like "Oh, looks like [INSERT YOUTUBER HERE] is about to fight [BOSS]. Ummm guess that's cool. I've seen this all before so..."
The shitposters are wrong, the annoying fanbase is wrong.
The only people who are in the right here are the ones that played the demo when the game was getting kickstarted and got the full game day one.
Everyone else is a fucking pleb
I don't know what it is, but this face...I really like it.
This game is not such a big deal that every other thread on the board needs to be devoted to it. Its just a neat indie game. Go post in undertale general if you want to discuss it. There is always at least one thread with this "honest discussion" about undertale shit. The answer is that no one gives a shit, if you want to talk to people who give a shit go on /vg/
undertale threads don't get deleted, you stupid queer. Midday there were no less than five simultaneously that all archived. This is typical every day.
Don't rewrite shit to make it seem like you're being persecuted; typical for a furry fuck like you.
The neofag mods make sure to keep your pig feces threads spamming up the catalog.
>Undertale thread on /v/
Choose one. Nothing is more triggering and deeply problematic to /v/ than this game because for some reason people feel the need to be edgy and contrarian.
>kickstarted the game
>had fun with the demo
>full game launch
>enjoyed it a lot
>folks on /v/ seemed to have the same opinion
>a few weeks later it's considered shit
More Genocide run
>Mad Dummy gets help from the OG Dummy ghost at the beginning, as well as Napstablook. Napstablook gets a tad more angry because you killed his friend Shyren
pacifist or neutral ideas
>ACTing is more difficult to pull off. Trial and error is now a worse option because you can be blocked off from specific options if you choose wrong and you'll have to be smart, otherwise Flowey's words will ring true and you'll meet a relentless killer
>More Amalgamations spliced together from Hard Mode monsters like Parsnik or Moldessa
>Papyrus battle is more fleshed out, not like Sans, but with more of the bones that moved up and down instead of just side to side
>Undyne is basically as hard as The Undying, but with a more fair progression in terms of how quickly the fight starts
>Mettaton Quiz doesn't have Alphys helping you, plus, it's longer, and you can be killed quicker
>Asriel Fight breaks out of the box entirely and goes full Bullet hell mode, plus, your progress can be reset to the beginning of the fight instead of just continuing where you died
>Hyperdeath Asriel form should be about the same, honestly.
>Omega Flowey has more attacks, you can die within the soul attacks, and the attacks don't less damaging until his defense drops, after which he goes all out and starts mixing attack patterns, but your health has the same mechanics as the normal fight
Ruins Hard Mode (Before it becomes Neutral, pacifist, or genocide)
>The spiders in the ruins become Black Widow spiders and instead of letting you buy shit, two attack you immediately
>If you don't kill them, they'll realize you're probably a customer and will apologize and let you buy stuff
>If you kill one you get hit with poison attacks from the other
There are parts of the game that touch soft spots for me. The story's nothing special, but I like the music and a few a the jokes got a chuckle out of me. If the only reason you don't like the game is because "furries" and tumblr, then you may have a problem.
I think it's a decent 7/10, although even that might be a bit too generous of a score.
The entire Genocide route outside of the only two bosses is awful, the overworld is boring and way too linear, and the combat doesn't have much depth to it at all, making the admittedly cool ideas of bullet hell dodging and pacifist acts wear their novelty off pretty quickly.
The boss fights though are great for the most part, the narrative is clever and entertaining, and the music is superb. The characters don't really have much depth to them, but they can be pretty funny, they're likable enough, and you don't really want to kill them.
I think it's far from a masterpiece, but I think the game is good, at least on a pacifist run.
Would literally let myself get killed by Chara
>enjoyed game until fucking fanbase ruined it for me
>inb4 this becomes next homestuck fandom
I don't know, the True Lab sequence was pretty creepy. The Reaper Bird butterfly attack is still unsettling as hell.
Plus, So Cold was depressing.
seems like it's losing itself sn...ow...y
>he actually gets up and leaves the room because he realizes he has to kill papyrus
Here's my two cents about the game. I won't claim it as fact, so feel free to nitpick or even ignore it if you don't care.
+game is pretty original, combining an early Earthbound combat with bullethell. I think that's nice.
-game is way too casual. Even if you grind for Sans and Undyne, their fights aren't that challenging either. They're nice for a change of pace, but getting to them is a bore.
+soundtrack is beautiful and varied. If it was a woman, I'd buy it chocolate and flowers on every date.
+story is full of memorable characters, and I'll admit I love Sans and Papyrus the most. They're quirky, but not random like those filthy Temmie. They're also welcome changes of pace from typical RPG characters. Papyrus being a genuinely fun loving good guy at heart is endearing, even if he's a little haughty.
+game does subvert alot of expectations and is pretty fun the first few times around. It's an interesting retrospective into tropes commonly used in RPGs
-on that note, the story does need to work on its pacing, and I'd dare say it's a little too cinematic in the late game. When I say that, I mean there's just too many moments when you're standing around and listening to someone throw out expository dialogue. It's not that interesting to someone like myself who dislikes heavy story.
+graphically, it's very unique. The in-battle sprites and animations are top notch, and are recognizable, which is good for an indie game
-the overworld graphics are kinda lazy and feel almost rushed. Alot of corridors, not alot to explore, puzzles are pretty casual. I Was hoping Papyrus would be much more adept at it.
Overall, I want to give this game a higher score because I love the music and the characters, but the gameplay suffers from various flaws, so the most I can part with is a 6/10. Interesting, but somewhat unpolished.
Photoshop Flowey is proof that those tropes were freaky as hell before they got overused to the point of joking about it. No one had the right idea of actually including them in a cohesive game until now though, and it worked really well on a lot of people, even people who joke about creepypasta tropes, because I one expected that kind of thing from the game.
honest opinion is....
having played the game for half hours,
the story is cringe-worthy.
It's like a high schooler making his first RPG maker project.
Please tell me it will gets better...
The graphic is bad.
like absolutely bad.
It's not even a unique style.
It's just bad.
the gameplay is never-done-before unique.
But it's boring as hell once you realized it's just "try all the shit until you get it right".
the music is good though.
I beat it after like 20 tries, you just gotta go to act then fight in the menu so those stupid fucking 4th wall bones don't hit you. And the final sequence with the rotating gaster blasters is unfortunately pure skill
What can I say? I can't just ignore people that eating shit in front of me.
I'm just that nice of a guy.
It's already shit in the very beginning though.
>last thread 404s
>better make a new one
I'm somebody who really enjoys this game, like 9 to 9.5/10 enjoys it, but I agree about the characters and story.
It really seemed like Toby wanted to tell a story here, but didn't want his game to go on too long, as rpg's are known to do. It's like he deliberately made it short to not overstay it's welcome, and sacrificed making his characters all that deep for that.
And yet, it still connected with me. It's one of the few games that when I start it up and see all the characters again, it's like I'm seeing old friends again. And yes I know that sounds really corny, but a game that manages to get you to connect with and care about characters in such little time deserves praise in my book.
>a little too story heavy in late game
>overworld is a little lazy
>liked everything else about it, even the battle sprites and mechanics
>still gives it a 6/10
Shit man that's a lot of points off for those few things but I'm not telling you're wrong.
>-on that note, the story does need to work on its pacing, and I'd dare say it's a little too cinematic in the late game.
That was sort of my major gripe with it. I didn't feel any sort of connection with
Asrielso the final showdown between you and him just didn't hit me like it might have for most other people. It felt like a watered down version of the very last fight in Gurren Lagann.
Plus, I think
Mother 3 handled the whole sibling rivalry angle a lot better.
>taking the feelsbait
what a faggot you are.
loved the game, dont think its the best game ever, not in my top 5, though maybe in my top 20
i can see why people don't like it, namely because they are closet faggots who need a gun or an armored knight taking over 3/4 of the screen to justify them playing a video game
Dead ass, its one of the best games of all time. The original story, the characters, the music, gameplay. All blended together to make one of the greatest experiences I've ever had with a videogame. I highly recommenced anyone who has a chance to pick it up. You may very well be surprised.
Its a good game but holy fuck, this is taking it way too far
this would of been a good post if it wasn't for the second half. Can't people just accept that they didn't like the characters and the jokes? That said, I still enjoy the game, but c'mon.
>sans theme is a slowed and slightly changed megalovania
>half the fucking soundtrack is just a mutation of the opening theme
I mean I love the music and the game but this fucking leitmotif is ridiculous
Looks like hipster/meme art
Might not be, but outwardly, that's what it appears to resemble. It's like a rom com sundance thing, that sort of "oh fuck, I have to sit through this shit" sort of thing.
I'm trying not to be biased. The most important thing, I feel, should be the gameplay. I also forgot to mention that multiple pivotal battles in the game
Flowey and Asrielare just glorified cutscenes. That's part of why the score is so low. I know the game is like patting me on the back for not being hitler through that playthrough, but I'd rather the game give me a challenge. Feels and whatnot don't really compare to an adrenaline rush of dodging a billion attacks, or surviving goatboy's ultimate attack where he murders everything in the universe. If I could actually die from that, it would be hype.
>the only white person is the villain
just play ikaruka till you're good and never post in an undertale thread again
this 2bh. glorified walking simulator / gone homo tier trash
you are all anthony burch
Why are you so triggered about this game that you had to save a bunch of troll images to your computer?
I know for a fact that you have a undertale folder called something like "tumblrmeme", don't you?
You can tell that Toby did take the time to develop them as best he could. I'll gladly give him that. It just needed some minor tweaks, because the game does have some flaws.
I think the biggest flaw is the whole "war on humanity" bit. If a child can singlehandedly genocide an entire race of monsters, then I don't see how Asgore will be able to change that, let alone Asriel. Maybe Frisk is just super determined and one of a kind, I don't know to be anne frank. But there wasn't much of a looming threat overall.
Omega Flowey is actually not that hard because of the gradually lowering damage gimmick, and is very easy for most bullet hell players.
I wish that damage gimmick only showed up after the souls started fighting back and his defense dropped to zero. That way, it'd feel way more hype because it's basically the first good shot you had at the fucking weed, and you were NOT gonna die then. Thus, you probably wouldn't.
Astro port has some lovely bullet hells, but they're not story-focused. The games are so devoid of story, infact, that they make Mario look like The Order 1886. I think that's a good thing, because they have the context needed to tell me what I'm doing, but they don't bore me with the extraneous details.
It was wall expositioned in Waterfall. It's supposed to be that humans are way stronger than monsters, to the point that human children could easily defeat adult monsters. Only "boss" monsters can match their strength.
and that's taken care of
Once I refresh the page you and everyone who responded to you will be invisible to me
Of course if you edit it in paint and I see it again I'll filter that MD5 too
Well, when Asriel became godlike with his powers, he still couldn't kill Frisk.
Again, it's probably just him getting protagonist privileges, but I wonder what a human could accomplish versus goatkid.
>tfw we'll never fight Gaster
Probably the best fan-made them out there. The first 15 seconds are great especially.
But the best official song goes to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bx55-ngn8n0
I liked it a lot
I thought it was overall too easy, genocide bosses aside. Asriel is the worst offender. A complete hard mode would be nice.
It was short, but the game probably would have suffered from being longer.
I thought it was a bit pretentious though to make a game about forgiveness and then brand the player for doing evil things across all future playthroughs. I know you can manually delete the flags, but still. There's also a huge number of unanswered questions regarding Sans and Gaster. Like, how much mystery do you need?
It's pretty good. It was one of the best games I played last year, but I also found last year to be incredibly weak with the majority of the good games coming out in the early months of the year. Undertale came out at a time where nothing good was coming out and nothing good came out after it either. And while I did like it at the the time and the demo long before its release I just don't even want to think about it anymore. It's just been shit posted to death, hell this thread was probably made just to shit post it. The only good I can think of it is that I didnt pay for it and everyone who I told to play it I just gave a pirated copy to.
identifying false flaggers is painfully easy after being on 4chan for a month
yet i see people falling for them every time for years
But the actual general is absolutely abhorrent. I don't want to circlejerk about a goat child, I want to actually discuss the game and how it works or doesn't work for whoever is playing it.
/vg/ in reality just intensifies whatever cancer may have been growing in the original /v/ threads.
>"wow this is some great art"
>look up the artist
>find all of his art
>implying these threads are any better
get the fuck outta here.
>I liked a game for these reasons
>JESUS CHRIST YOU GUYS ARE QUEERS! GAY FAGGOT LOSER!! XDDD KILL URSELF FAGLORD!!!
This place is a cancerous tumor.
that gaster song sounded really good
I thought Alphys/Undyne worked pretty well. There's actually an explanation for why each one likes the other. I suppose you could have made either one a dude to make the relationship straight, but it's fine as is.
you seem upset, are these threads triggering you? i'll be sure to make another after this :^)
Quality Undertale threads on /v/ are far in between, but every so often there'll be one that feels like it was ripped straight from the week after the game launched, aka, an extremely good one.
This thread is still pretty bad, but at least we're getting minor discussions on stuff like Omega Flowey's creepypasta inspirations
>endearing and Memorable
you are wrong
>upset enough to save that image then come into this thread, despite knowing its an undertale thread, and post it
i liked alphys and undyne
great characters and i thought they made for a cute as hell pairing
It's okay. That's it. Hell I only played it because this girl I like insisted I play it so we're playing it together. I don't get how people get so fucking attached to the characters. I'm doing a Pacifist Run because said grill might think negatively if I go around slaughtering everyone which, in all honesty, I would have no problem doing.
Is it a bad game? No. Although it simply does not deserve the insane amount of praise it got and currently has. It's fucking mind-boggling.
Have you seen the charts people have made linking all the songs together?
Like how Waterfall is just a really really slow version of Spear of Justice?
Or Genocide is
Flowey's theme song slowed down.
I think they're cute too, but /u/ has been poisoning my mind for a long time so my tastes are a bit strange.
If you didn't know about the game those tatoos looks like total shit.
Hell, it still looks like shit even when you know the source
You what bitch nigga? Ex is best version of Mettaton and that if fact.
So, has anyone addressed the similarities to Cave Story yet? I mean there are quite a few, right down to the name.
I liked the game, and I agree that the lesbian ship was pushed a little too hard. It's obvious Toby tried to lampshade video game tropes to a noticeable degree, and I can see how this is similar to, for example, anja and blue haired kid from majora's mask. no one seems to mention pushing that straight ship on players, but that was arguably weirder and harder pushed.
In response to the person you are replying to, I felt the bosses were pretty OK difficulty wise. I died at least once or twice to maybe mettaton ex and asgore, but this was my first bullet hell (babby bullet hell that undertale is).
One thing I didn't really like were the frequency of encounters in the waterfall area, between undyne and tem. that was a chore.
Genocide hotland could have far reduced the encounters required. That's my only reason for stopping the genocide run, 40 encounters was too long a grind for easily youtubed content.
I liked Undertale though, and after getting burned by many AAA titles this year being unfinished cash grab shovelwear, it was nice to get something for $10 that actually had memorable characters and an interesting storyteling mechanics, and not Battlefield X AGAIN or Assasin Creed 1 Gaiden AGAIN or Skyrim AGAIN with tits etc (even though I liked witcher 3). Plus it had a free demo?
This isn't just an Omega Flowey thing. All bosses deal less damage the less health you have. In fact, with enough health from leveling, you can make bosses deal more damage than their actual attack value.
oh, because talking about some faggot trollface flower's 'creepypasta roots' totally can't be done in the general.
you faggots feel the need to have constant threads up and they're usually just baiting retards like >>324338730
all of you fucking kill yourselves
this image doesnt become more true the more you post it
in fact, it's demonstrably false
I just want to say that I am impressed with the soundtrack. Me likey likey the soundtrack!
>something i like is on the wall of shame
kek, enjoy your shit taste faggot
>anyone that doesn't like my tumblr feelsbait game must have shit taste and love CoD
kek, you faggots are the worst.
it's a game that has hardly any engaging gameplay, it's gone homo tier trash.
>oh, because talking about some faggot trollface flower's 'creepypasta roots' totally can't be done in the general
it really can't. /utg/ is an absolute cesspool of circlejerking around small goat child and too much porn.
so, make it better.
it's not my fault your precious game was created to pander to furfags and autists of every ilk, and succeeded in attracting them.
because those aren't
>long-term, recurring threads about a specific game
i don't hate the game I hate these threads, it was a forgettable indieshit title in every respect and doesn't deserve this kind of circlejerking. just let it die.
>one person can change the behemoth that is autism
Sure pal, I'll get right on it and see who starts talking. Oh wait, I've tried that multiple times, and rarely does it work.
I'm better off hoping some of these threads end up being slightly good.
I hate this game because it fucking ruined skeletons.
Now The Skull, that's a real nigga right there.
people who make and participate in reoccuring threads because they usually get shitposted in
they keep getting made because there's no satisfaction, so another is made in the hope that it will end well
posts like yours are what perpetuate these threads
people like you are the problem
Yes they fucking are. And you know it too. /v/ did this same shit when bloodbourne first came out. They did it when MGSV came out. But here you are losing your shit over seeing a thread about a game you're tired of hearing about. So instead of ignoring it like a mature responsible adult, you come in and shitpost.
...and contradict yourself too.
>implying spooky scary skeletons, skulltrumpet, and A SKELLINGTON POPPED OUT didn't already do that.
It's so low-quality, yet I'm still mad as fuck.
The way they play on RPG tropes is hilarious
The actual gameplay is alright. Part 2hu, part earthbound.
The way it interacts with the player and messes with your expectations is the highlight of the undertale experience.
The non autistic part of the fanbase is pretty cool tho
Funny comics, remixes,
actually good voiceovers for ingame stuff, not edgy comic dubs, and fan mods/games like RED are pretty nice
you could not be more tumblr if you tried, fucking kill yourself faggot.
they're not though, undertale is a 4-6 hour long indieshit game, bloodborne, witcher, and nintenyearold shit receive constant updates or are part of a francize.
why are the people who get so mad at undertale more annoying that the actual fans
Reminder that people predicted the cancer from the beginning.
>even back then there was that one really mad guy who said it was forced feelsbait
He's come so far ;^)
Undynestein the child slayer
Nt him, but I thought Steel Strider was a little better than them. I enjoy games that have very little story and go right to the gameplay. And I can't resist cool robots.
It's a personal weakness.
There's some cool fanmade concepts on Youtube, a shame there aren't much mods for more fights.
RED is the best made one
people complain that undertale fans are EVERYWHERE AND SO ANNOYING but i barely see any discussion about it on /v/ other than bait threads
are shitposters calling this a tumblr game because tumblr likes it or because it has bi characters?
if the first: that's retarded, why would it matter who likes a game? judge the game by the game. if you like it, play it and talk the people who arent faggots
if the second: that's retarded. bi/gay characters are inherently tumblr
what I liked about Earthbound is it didn't really have a story. you just get lost in the adventure for a vague goal. it wasn't an epic tale and it wasn't trying to be, just some laugh, gasps, friendship and faith.
>everyone who hates undertale: the citizen kane of video games must be one person
>no dissenting opinions allowed
exposition dumps with feelsad music playing is objectively bad writing, it's complete shit.
see the post right above yours faggot
is not me.
Aw hell yeah, I fapped to this before it was a meme. This edit is kinda shitty though.
every last character in the game exists for some narcissistic tumblrfaggot to latch on to and 'identify' with.
pretty much. The only character I give a single fuck about is Papyrus and that's because the nigger has a racecar bed.
The guy is desperate for friends/attention and I'm pretty sure there's a ton of tumblrinos that identify with that real easy.
Cool, do you also find that everyone's intellectual intelligence is for less superior than that of your own?
>avoids talking about the gender of the kid to the point where it's awkard at times, they pronouns and all
>lgbt undertones, and required elements in the main plot
>all the lolrandumb tumblrcore humor like temmie and papyrus
>message about tolerance if you 'play it right'
>message about how you're bad for leveling up if you don't
it checks every box on every sjw ever's 'ideal game' list
