Did my first playthrough with a pistol build. I liked the .45 the most but I can't get past the slow fire rate. Old Faithful was probably the most effective gun I used but it felt like using automatics.

I uninstalled it after the game kept crashing whenever I opened the armor crafting station.

The Witcher 3 was such a monumental release that it kept the general public's attention past Fallout 4's release

The gameplay is still boring but has even less incentive to do any because everything in the game is just "clear x of raiders/mutants"

The story is fucking shit, there's no real way to discuss it like you can with New Vegas because all of the factions are terrible

There's like 3 meaningful side quests

There's like 2 actual non-custom towns, both of which have jack shit in terms of content

There's no minigames like gambling and caravan, or even side activities like animal fights

There's no real builds since every "playstyle" just has its own 5-tier perk tree which mainly just adds % damage

Fallout 4 played perfectly on my computer, never crashed and I never had any gamebreaking bugs, and I played through the whole game. 60 FPS everywhere with a GTX 970.

So I'm curious, why does Bethesda's fallot universe have the 50s theme going for it? Why did the advent of nuclear energy stop the world from culturally growing? Because it brought change with it. At first everyone was hyped as fuck for it simply because it was Fallout. Then they started to show more and more features and people began to worry. By a week or so before release many people were just waiting for the game to come out solely to confirm that its trash. And when it did come out people found out it actually was trash. Not that its a bad game necessarily its just not a good Fallout or a good RPG.

Fallout originally had a slight zee-rust, retrofuturistic thing going for it, with shit like the Corvega, the robobrains, the pulpy supermutants, the Ink Spots, etc. It was little more than window dressing, and the post-war world did little to imitate it unless it was a deliberate decision (a la the NCR, New Vegas families, etc.). Bethesda saw this, misunderstood it, and thought the overriding aesthetic was this whacky, super-50's retrofuturistic stuff.

It wasl literally unplayable for me. and i can max shit like MGSV which looks gorgeous , FO4 looks like complete ass , runs like ass , and unless you have a proper HDD (which still takes time to load textures , to avoid that problem altogether you would need an SDD) , 8gb ram and a decent GPU. That shit is unacceptable. When games like Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First sin runs at buttery smooth 60 fps on shittier rigs, or games like DMC4 exists (Even DmC had great optimization and both ran great even on a old ass 8800GTS)
Bethesda just fucking got lazy as fuck.
And they charge you 60 dollars for that shitty excuse for a game.
