How can you even play games like MH on this piece of shit it's fucking horrible
the circle pad+ does not make it any better
Because those of us who use it are accustomed to much, much worse. Pic related.
And the slide pad is perfectly fine, stop being a baby.
There's always Toukiden
There is though, Toukiden Kiwami. It's the cloneiest of Monster Hunter clones.
Then do that. Nobody said it was good. It's a Monster Hunter clone on Steam just like you asked.
Did you really think there would be some hidden gem Monster Hunter clone on PC that is on par with MonHun itself?
It's pretty fun but really easy. Keep that in mind.
And don't even try to play without a controller unless you're extremely masochistic.
Playing in a window might kill your FPS unless they fixed that.
confirmed for tri babby
psp button layout is the optimal way to play monster hunter. anyone who played the games before tri knew the new controls were drastically limiting hence why nintendo made a ps2 control for wii for that game alone
>Fight Brutal Tigrex
>Circle Pad breaks off
>Have to fix it with glue
>6 months pass
>Hunt Brutal Tigrex again
>Circle Pad comes off again
Pretty bitter for somebody who gave the wrong sauce.
le you'll never meet her in real life anyways face
Hey fags. I am playing Monster Hunter X.
How do I upgrade my cat carts and unlock more locations so I can get honey and make mega potions and shit?
Do nyantaa quests. Two-three unlocks the ones in the enxt rank which unlocks honey and shit.
Worst part of the game, put on some Howard Stern and suck it up. You'll need those mega pots.
The only poor controls are the ones that don't let you what you want to do.
On the PSP you could control the camera perfectly, thus they were good.
On the PS2 the joystick attacked, which had lag to it and was bad.
That's your problem. If you can't even learn to work the camera, how the fuck are you going to play a hardcore game like this?
Except you can also control the camera perfectly using the two games and platforms I listed. With the added bonus of them not being uncomfortable as shit.
What is wrong with you?
From your perspective then you and your control scheme also sucks ass because you can't use the touch screen d-pad, normal d-pad and l-targeting to control the camera.
CCP is best controller for monhun.
monster shitters detected. monster hunter is only played optimally by having your left index on the dpad, this isn't possible on any game after tri and shitters resort to add on peripherals, hardware revisions, and automatic camera locking to make up for the fact.
The second stick forces you to move your thumb from the all-too-important buttons designed for attacking and dodging. It's inferior.
I have no trouble with relocating the camera controls to ZL and ZR though, that's indeed perfect.
They're at the end of the list, I think they're yellow.
Its mainly the reason i stopped playing my N3DS thw controls are abosolute fucking shit
Hoping MX allows me to stream the games from the n3ds to the NX and use a better controller
How and why do you people still exist
No, you're just dumb... I've played MH since 2 and I never used the claw. Also I have never, not fucking once, removed my thumb from the oh so all important attack and dodge buttons.
You have 10 fingers, if want to use them all in a retarded way then suit yourself, but take my advice, do try to use your brain often too.
Congratulations, you spent a ton of time playing MH with trash tier controls. You want a medal?
I've played FU on the PSP. It's manageable but it's nowhere near ideal. The controls have only gotten better. You have to be crazy to deny this.
>I've soloed every quest on the PSP. My experience is superior to yours.
Implying I haven't done all that plus the missions on MH3, 3U, 4U and a few freedom ones without resorting to the claw.
Use your head before you use your hands.
>Absolutely wear that motherfucker out from years of Zelda, Star Fox, Monkey Ball, and 90 hours of Smash killed it and broke it off
>Persona Q 3DS
>Didn't play shit with the circle pad because I bought this on a whim, the most I got out of this was beating every single Phoenix Wright and all three Shantae games becaaaaauuuuuse
>New 3DS XL
>This shit out of nowhere, turned around and got this day one, got a bum circle pad with a clear dead zone, makes Monster Hunter a pain and I'm too much of a puss to swap out for one of the metal pads
Me and 3DSes aren't really getting along right now.
Best controls coming through.
It is the best way
Not that It is need but it is definitely better
Why do you think they even made this?
b8 aside I've actually heard that the touch screen controls are somehow decent. I would never play the game that way, mind you.
(nor would I play FU at all when 4U exists)But apparently they aren't actually that bad. Which is kind of impressive.
>Tell me something about Dos
fucking horrible hitboxes and having no one to play with was fucked up, but it was wild ride.
I'm starting to wonder how these guys mastrubate. Bet they are wonderfull at fingering though.
>tap to win
Pic related is the best way to play MH
Well personally I think the reason the claw grip is better is because you can actually maunally control the camera while moving and doing all the attacking/dodging at the same time.
Well I guess you still can without it but it wont be as ergonomic and you are staining your finger in weird position.
but then again with Monster locking that also do the job just as well since what you want to see most of time is the monster itself anyway so Its not that bad
>Well personally I think the reason the claw grip is better is because you can actually maunally control the camera while moving and doing all the attacking/dodging at the same time.
finally, a man with some sense. let me say, you are most definitely not a tri babby and know how to play monster hunter.
>Well I guess you still can without it but it wont be as ergonomic and you are staining your finger in weird position.
indeed look at all these poorfag hunters ITT claiming CCP, the n3ds nub, the touchscreen, are all acceptable substitutes. it's laughable, because with all of these, you're still having to give up half of your possible actions to just manually move the camera for better hunting.
>but then again with Monster locking that also do the job just as well since what you want to see most of time is the monster itself anyway so Its not that bad
going to have to disagree here, bud. auto lock was never necessary for monster hunter. any hunter worth his shit will take a manual camera over auto. it's not even a decent auto lock at that, say souls game lock, it's half assed. god help you if you have more than 1 boss on the screen
I've switched to DS when I started playing 3U. Sick dodges all day every day. I was a potion bank for everyone else.
