Oh, you actually watch games more than you play? Or do you want people to watch people playing games you like instead?
Sorry normie, I'm not from normieville so I don't understand your normie customs, but here on /v/, we'd rather play the game rather than watch other people play.
Please refrain from making a thread tomorrow asking why your favorite Let's Player is playing normie games or whatnot.
Actually, every first shot in the game has RNG, including the AWP.
Undertale should be nr. 1 imo
this underrated game deserves it greatly
CS:GO is the greatest competitive game ever made

Just imagine being one of these spaghetti tossers... One day your pretty much guaranteed to grow out of that retardation and realize how shameful and disappointing your life is... E-Sports suicides when?
it's the same kind of publisher/developer fanboyism as with players who think modern sega games are good because their games were good in the 90s, people think valve games should be good just because it's by valve even if it's trash inferior to its competitors in every way like dota2
>Why do people enjoy playing against each other more than playing against stupid poorly coded AI?
It is simple. Those are the four highest paying multiplayer games on a professional level. Interest in "e-sports" has risen since the salad days of Korean Star Craft tournaments and Ramada ballroom Street Fighter tournaments. Hence these games have the highest "passive" viewership--I personally know people who only casual play LoL in comp stomp games or unranked normals, but watch LCS for hours on the weekend and keeps up with all the professional drama.
Been around for over twice as long
Better living for people who are actually good at it
Competitive scene not kept alive by Riot injecting money into it
It'll die eventually but it will die after LoL does, and it doesn't have to compete because league is to Dota what WoW is to, say, FFXI.
The oldest e-sports guy is 35 and making millions off branding alone, apparently more than most minor NFL players.
F2P is a bigger cash cow than you would like to admit.
I see this like the "x-treme" sports of the 90s. People will whine and moan about it not being sports and that the players in it will be too old and unfit for society eventually. All while not realizing the power of branding and commercial licensing.
What's the point of this post?
Why do some of you people care so much what other people are playing/ what's popular?
Just play the games you enjoy, and ignore the fanbase, simple as that.
Most people feel the need to get some sense of long term progression from games they put time in regularly. Otherwise it feels like a waste of time. So people rather put a couple hundred hours into CS GO rather than into a few different single player RPGs.
The need for these kinds of games was recognized, and thus they were made, obviously as accessible as possible...
It's a shame that the pinnacle of competitive gaming is now the FGC. At least they haven't sold out.
I just want to go back to Korea time. Starcraft broodwar was the best esport we ever had.
Last i heard he was getting into COD:MW2 but I think he spends most of this time managing his company that puts his brand on shit like Monster Headphones.
>implying /v/ plays video games
You need to get out.
Making bank off branding (even though we are coming up to a period where is achievements in gaming will be less known than his name on perceptively high quality computer components) and banging Asian models probably.
jesus what a cringe fest. such shitty animation, holy fuck. Iguess it goes well together with atrocious music like imagine dragons. I'm willing to bet that lol community loved those
Those dota profiles are fucking terible too, you can tell those people were forced to do that shit
Being 33, I have to agree with the anon you're replying to. A lot of people get jaded when things change and reject outright as a matter of principle.
Shit is just different now.
