The air toss skill is hard to train. They will either need sufficient enemy knowledge or you train them by playing fighter yourself for a while. Latter is probably more efficient. Also I'm not entirely sure but utilitarian might also help.

It can one hit kill on Hard Mode, though it's easy to avoid.

I started the game on Hard mode and got rekt after killing both the goat and snake heads and getting the thing to like 5% life.

I was actually surprised that you could die there and the game would continue. I thought I had to fight the chimera again.
