What do you think everything from wii,nx and wiiu came from. DC was a peripheral machine and pretty much started that trend. It also had the vmu which even had its own games. It's hard to argue whether Sega or Nintendo had Internet first. Thry even had ideas for satellite but Sega was the first to do it functionally

its been a fun ride guys but I think this is where I get off. I have consoles from 2nd gen to current. and I love and replay them all the time. but I think its getting to the point where I say i've had enough.

Wii-U was a flop, and would have been a total waste if not for Wii BC.

Xbone has nothing interesting.

PS4 has some cool titles but nothing worth spending $400 for.

Modern vidya just isnt for me.

As a Nintendo fan since the NES days, I can safely say: I'm sick of old Nintendo IPs.

Do I love Mario, Zelda, pokemon, Metroid, Kirby, Fzero, Mother? Sure.

Do I like seeing a new game of theirs come out every year? No.

TF actually went and FIXED problems people complained about for years with DKC, Where as mario kept the same exact problematic mechanics and leaps of faith.

Icarus, Splatoon, Style Savvy, STEAM were all breaths of fresh air, whether they sold well or not, they were NEW. Nintendo needs to focus more on NEW ideas, not the same rehashed cash cows over and over.

Its worse then dreamworks when it comes to beating something into the ground.
