How are those shelves coming along, /v/?
What you got on the preorders?
I'm tempted to get this but I'm not the world's biggest Cordelia fan.
I'd rather just collect my favorite units in keychain format to save money for vidya
and a complete set of Super Dreadnought Girl volumes.
Cordelia is up there for me desu. She'd be #1 if she didn't make it canon that she'd cuck you for Chrom any chance she could.
I imagine they'll move on to Fates figs now though.
tfw too many collectors editions for games i dont even like
i had a period of major autism where i'd just buy any collector's edition that got released
Yeah same. I don't think i've ever actually used any of the extra goodies.
I don't feel bad about my Fallout 4 pipboy edition despite the pipboy being a complete hunk of shit just because the box looks kinda kickass.
Sorry anon its too cold to do something like that.
I want pic related so much
It combines my love for Sena and my love for MH
I'm taking a break from the figures and gunpla to buy some actual video games
Look what I found today
An extra pair of hands does help to keep things in position. Not having to worry about shattered glass is nice, and I don't mean the great film of the same name.
No, the one with Hayden Christiansen.
The one thing that bugs me is that the display model had a hole cut in the top piece for a lighting insert but the one I bought doesn't when it should have been pre-drilled. I'll have to break out the woodworking tools to fix that.
Just came a few days ago.
Bunch of anime shit next month
Maybe. Depends if it works with the ambience to enhance their display.
To each their own
Find a store that doesn't get a lot of customers, and come in during a quiet time of the day.
Walk in confidently with a smile and you can get whatever you want.
In this case, the Blockbuster was selling ex-rental shovelware (party games etc) for $10. I flirted with the cashier for a bit and made some small talk about her job while I browsed the shelf.
I said "I heard these are really long, so I can't finish them in 3 days. Can I just have them as ex-rentals?"
You'd be shocked by the amount of shit you can get for free/cheap just by asking. I got a figma once.
I'm jeaous. I don't even know why I want her, but I do.
Has anything ever not been delayed? It feels like everything I order lately has been delayed.
Got this guy on preorder. I'm going to have to start saving up more, since not only are a another Catatonic, Polly, and Guido going to come out as part of that same line Speedy came out in a couple years ago, but there's also apparently going to be a vinyl figure collection of some sort.
what did you get, anon
I won this in the biannual raffle but I'm too afraid to unbox it because I know I'll fuck it up
If you have limited money/space then sure, if not go wild.
I personally am having trouble with the size of my collection, due to moving across the country and I risk breaking them through shipping.
Mostly vidya-related. Have this on pre-order with the tapestry, can't wait.
>tfw stockpiled about 8 big boxes filled with unopened figures and statues
>can't display shit since in the process of house redecorating
Looking forward to getting some shelves and cabinets to show this shit off when the time comes.
Everybody has that figure on preorder.
Sorta I suppose, but I'm not aware of any other recent figures that are based on album covers. I'd really like to see a figure based on her PSO outfit from the Project Diva F though.
I didn't know these were a thing
Really want the dream cast one, I love the dream cast
This is the only thing I have on preorder
Why do people buy and collect weeb shit? Even though I like some series, I never understand why people amass such vast collections of shit? it is like materialism is cranked up to 11. Is it a way to fill a hole where friends or loved ones would normally go, or what?
1. Supports company
2. Typically looks cool
3. It's a hobby just like video games
Buying and collecting is just another form of entertainment, it feels good buying something from a series you like.
I can understand like 1-3, maybe 5 if you have a lot of favorite characters, but beyond that is ridiculous, especially considering the often poor paint jobs on them (as can be seen on most of the posted pics in this thread.
I've got a Lucas Amiibo preordered, which I'm excited about. I'm not really on board the Amiibo train, but it'll nice to be have Lucas to go with Ness.
Otherwise, just waiting for the
Kamen Rider Ghost Figuartsto release.
The base alone will take up an entire room. Seriously m8 look up the final product.
Mfw I missed out on this Miku because u bought into the "only for sale in Japan" meme.
Enjoy whacking it your POP figs faggot.
I do have Pop figures. I have superhero ones, Star Trek ones, movie ones. I do have 3 Figmas as well.
Point is I don't just have things by Goodsmile, Bandai, or Play Arts like the people ITT. There are other characters other than JRPG ones.
Only got 2 vidya figs on preorder, 4 if you count Aikatsu as a vidya franchise
igot very few figures. i dont have much space so I cant only afford to have agigass hatsune miku, and that tharja one with the booty. I have pic related preordered
I'm not even that big on Majora's Mask but I adore this little guy
>i have no argument, let me just spout some random shit out my ass
I can do this too
A man of taste I see.
The Momohime 1/8th is being rereleased this year, super excited for her. I don't buy many statues but for her I'll make an exception
Sweet. Thanks for the heads up. I didn't play muramasa back when she was initially released but did last year and now I want a figure of her. Second hand was still costly so I might as well get a new one for that price.
I haven't bought any figs in years. I don't know if it was just a phase or if figs are just shit these days. Almost feel like selling off all my collectibles since they just sit around collecting dust now.
r8 muh collection
I also have these ordered.
r8 mine. I don't have everything listed as I'm not autistic enough to catalog my smaller trinkets.
