Black Flag is overrated as hell.

On foot missions were awful, and ship combat was repetitive, once you board 3 ships you've seen it all. All those side activities such as whaling and bell diving weren't that good. Shanties were the best part of the game.

Played 1, 2, Brotherhood, Revelations, 3, Liberation and i'm in black flag now.

IV is amazing, the free running was vastly improved, the graphics on PS4 are beautiful, the gameplay is tight and fun and the story so far is very good.
I love collecting shit, sailing and exploring tiny and medium sized islands and doing all activities is extremely fun for me.

Another good franchise is Far Cry, played Blood Dragon and Far Cry 4 and both of them were fun and had loads of weapons.
I'm not sure about Primal though, the melee combat in this franchise has always been Skyrim tier (garbage) and the weapon variety will be shit... spear/club/arrow = bleh.

The division looks fun but i hate multiplayer, will wait for reviews.


Another tiny thing which i love about ubi is how well they treat physical buyers, in this day and age of physical games with just a disc on the box, ubi still includes manuals and other goodies.

While I love the idea of roaming around an empty Manhattan, even better with a survival style game set there I'm just worried Ubisoft is going to fuck it up, make it not ambitious enough, make the Manhattan map too small and with very little interiors, will they replicate the entire subway line and the major stops underground or will they cheapen out and not let you go into the subway tunnels.

I want to explore the places and do the things that I can't so in real life in this game, heres hoping they allow for that instead of just having the city and all the buildings and infrastructure as a backdrop and most of the fighting and interaction takes place on the street or in limited access subway tunnels and stations that you cant use as a means of underground travel, imagine running through those to get to another station and bypass a large group of players that way, or encountering others who are doing the same and getting into firefights in the subway tunnels.

This is either going to be fucking great or a disappointing as fuck game

For whatever reason several Saudi Arabians, Moroccans and Egyptians attacked World Trade Centre and Pentagon.

United States of America started their own intervention in the country, except now they've didn't had anybody(unless you believe in conspiracies, then Saudi Arabia still helped) funding their enemies. Still failed as Talibans control huge territory here.

In the meantime of supporting Afghan opium farmers United States of America keep spending several hundreds of millions on war on drugs.

Yes, but in every zone it's possible, everyone will be doing it because that's the way they chose to present the game. Every multiplayer game will have dickbags, but Ubisoft deliberately chose that as the focus of their marketing push. "Now YOU can be a dickbag, and make other people RAGEFACE! It's cool and epic!" And a lot of people are going to play that way not because the want to, but because they think that's the way you're supposed to.
But what the fuck do I care? I wasn't getting this anyway.

So I haven't been following this game at all, so I have no expectations about it and I just looked up a fairly recent preview on jewtube and it looks pretty cool. Seems like there are a lot of weapons which can also be independently customized and lots of skills.

Will probably end up not getting it (I always end up not playing every MP game I buy) but it looks good. Do you really think the game is going to be bad because graphics don't look as good and the map is smaller? That doesn't have a huge impact on gameplay as far as I know

The only reason its on a consideration for me is co-op. I just want to play the beta now to get a feel for how many hits enemies take for myself. Wondering if DPS is the same across weapon types, because for instance even if a Sniper Rifle and Assault Rifle in Destiny had the same Attack value the Sniper would do considerably more damage per shot. I am wondering if a 3000 DPS pistol has the same per shot damage as a 3000 DPS DMR
