I honestly think Axe can make it to 3 or 4. I think he could be Ice and SFAT. Not sure about Nintendude, but Mango will probably knock him out. That just leaves Mango and we saw that he can do it, it depends on how Mango plays tomorrow.

Biggest threats to Axe would be Armada and PP, with Nintendude and Mango being tough but possible to beat. Everyone else I think Axe can beat just fine

I kind of know how Hbox fans feel know. They see merit in the Puff/Fox matchup where others don't. I always have fun watching ICs try to manuever around their opponent, especially if it's Peach, and try to keep Nana from getting killed. Regardless of wobbling, it's an uphill battle every time considering how fundamentally lackluster ICs are in high level play.

Am I the only one who feels like Smash 4 was more exciting than Melee at this event so far?

I really enjoy both games and usually favor Melee as a spectator sport but Genesis just feels the same as the past 3 or 4 nationals. Maybe I'm just getting burnt out because of the frequency of events, but the narratives in Melee haven't been as exciting as of late. There was also very little energy in the Melee crowd vs. the Smash 4 crowd.

and i still don't understand what people have against wobbling
seems pretty mundane to me
you get a game
you bend it really far from how its intended to be played
and you get some really funky shit

No, M2K has hand problems and plays more than just Melee. He's also been in a bit of a rough spot the last year but he did have some moments where he played really well. His biggest issue is dealing with his emotions, especially after a loss. M2K in robot mode is arguably the greatest player of all time but M2K after a pretty hard loss or in a state of any sort of negative mindset is the worst of the six by far since he does a bad job of not letting his feelings affect his play.

Also Mango and Armada both have Fox and PPMD has Falco. The only true solo mains in the top 6 are Hbox and Leffen.
