Am I supposed to just be aimlessly wandering around killing shit? I picked up every quest I found on a billboard in the town, then I went out into the world and started slaughtering bandits and wolves. Then I found a manticore and killed that, too.

It's so easy to get lost in the sidequests, especially with the main story quests being so... meh.
Just keep exploring if that's what you wanna do, anon. Might unintentionally run into a sick boss which is always fun.

In general: escort quests are very, very optional.

Always pick up board quests that involve killing or collecting things; you'll finish most of them naturally as you move through the game. After key quests, the world updates slightly. It may or may not be worth checking earlier hubs and quest boards after those times for new quests. Otherwise the real progression is laid out explicitly for you. If you've reached Gran Soren you need to talk to someone in front of the Castle to move the plot along.

Anyone else playing Magick Archer? Sometimes I'm pretty sure my bow does literally no damage to certain enemies, so maybe they are highly resistant to magic or their armor is too high to be damaged by my bow. Anyone got any advice for an aspiring magick archer? Like where I can get the next best bow preferably. Level 22 currently.

Oh yeah and anyone know about changing inclinations for main pawns? I went to the guy and got the challenger potion but it only changed her secondary inclination. Main inclination is guardian from when she started as a mage.

Nah, I didn't even know who that was until I googled her. It's alright but I just feel like I'm not doing enough damage and it's infuriating. I just wanted to try it out because people speak so highly of it but honestly I enjoyed mystic knight the most so I might just change back to that. Bitterblack isle would be easier with a ranged character though so I guess I would change back to magick archer for that or hell might even train in Ranger myself for it. What class would you guys say the best suited BBI?

Here's some general advice for everyone except warrior because fuck you he hits like a truck anyway.

Use skulls and str/magic boosting items when fighting big enemies. Defense is subtractive, so if you stray too far you WILL do literally 0 fucking damage. If you curse them with skulls and pop some of those russian talisman shits you'll still do decent damage. Also rusted items cause torpor so upgrade and use those fucking things.

Guys I'm stuck in the Cypher quest, it teels me to go to some place called Hillfigure Knoll, but it doesn't matter what road I take to go there it's full of direwolves that will kill me with 2 or 3 hits, I died like 5 times already and it's becoming frustating. I'm level 23 and there are no other optional quests to help me level up, and I don't think that would help me much anyway.

Use the art of metamorphosis to be the little girl. Kill dragons with it until they are forged then change back. Cursed dragons in endgame have a 75% chance to dragon forge 3star gear. Gregori and Ur-Dragon have 100% chance for all gear I think.

Anyone got a recommended sorcerer skills set?
I currently carry Great Ingle, High Miasma, Maelstrom, Bolide, Gicel and Holy Boon and fight fine in most circumstance but don't feel well equipt when most fights is casting Boon if its a skeleton, casting Miasma, casting Ingle to alight it and then if there's time to cast going for a higher tier spell or just more ingles.

How do pawns equip items?
I bought a couple of clothes for my basic bitch and gave them to her on the equipment screen, but she not wearing them.

Also, do regular pawns gain experience or am I suppsed to simply throw them away when I outgrow them?

Yep, go to the Barber Shop in Gran Soren.

Only costs 3,000 to change everything including voice. Change the facial expression to see what the voice sounds like other than grunts and growls, because I made this mistake twice and had a fucking man voice for my pawn.
