The bread and butter of Dynasty Warriors games is having loads of units onscreen at once. It's a pain enough to make them all out on a TV, let alone a Wii U gamepad, let alone a fucking 3DS. Are these people having a laugh? It's probably a little better on a New 3DS, a Wii U would still stomp that in terms of performance. Is the Wii U version receiving DLC to bring it up to date with the features advertised in the 3DS?

All I know is that there's some memory upgrades there and there as well as a beefier CPU. I was surprised how stable the framerate was in Xenoblade 3D yes I bought it and played through the entire game, though apparently the BoI Rebirth port is rather shitty because shit devs. Without 3D MH4U can go at 60 FPS with upgraded textures on the N3DS but I'm not sure about the older models

CFW users can supposedly buff up the framerate in a few games like MGS3D with a plugin to use the extra power.

I have a n3DS XL, so I'll probably still get the game since it seems to run at a stable 30fps on it. Enemy pop-in and stuff like that will likely be a bit better, but not much since it's a handheld-conversion and they probably need to do that to stabilize performance.

I had enough fun with HW on WiiU to want a more mobile version of it.

It's honestly not too surprising given that however they made the game, it would struggle on Wii U at times, despite not looking great either at times. Just try to play 2-player HW on Wii U - it gets rough. You sometimes get enemies popping in so slowly and so few that it actually makes missions harder to complete.

I really wished they hadn't made the 3DS version and just kept making more DLC for the Wii U version. I've really enjoyed my time with it, and even if the 3DS version was good, I just cannot bring myself to put in the many hours I put in all over again.
