Yeah, after I tried it a few times I can usually get it, that was just the first time I ran it since I'm a fag who doesn't like continuing, especially in MoF or SA where it throws you into the stage with likely less lives than you had going in (though it was more than I had when I went into Stage 6 at least).

I feel kind of inadequate at people earlier in the thread talking about how relatively easy Utsuho is, because she fucking slays me harder than the cat. I just can't dodge all those tiny bullets while trying to swerve around the huge ones, precision dodging while moving large distances just doesn't work for me, especially her first spellcard where it feels you have two millimeters of room to dodge and there's a chance one of the little bullets will block your path.

And now looking at videos of people playing the stage I feel I might've made a mistake picking Marisa-A. I wanted those eight bombs but it seems she takes twice as long to kill as this one Reimu shottype I'm seeing everyone use (I haven't experimented too much with shottypes in SA, I wanted to avoid Reimu since I heard runs as her "don't count" compared to other characters and I already used her to clear IN so doing it twice seemed wrong).

SA is probably the toughest climb since I first tried to play EoSD a year and a half ago when I had never played a bullet hell and only knew Touhou for secondary memes. I get the feeling if I get past this, Ten Desires and LoLK are going to kill me.

I'm glad it's not as uphill a climb as I thought (not that it isn't uphill). I personally thought LLS was easier than MoF, I was able to beat LLS in a few tries and that was back when I was a lot worse at the genre (relatively, I'm still terrible); while I probably beat MoF in a similar timespan, I spent more time on the practice modes so I could be sure I could make it through without losing too many lives early on.
