Focus on one, lower his health half way. Dodge the attacks from the others.
Focus on another, and repeat. Then the last and repeat.

Do this until you lower all of their health bars to just a slither.
Then deliver the killing blow to each.

If you follow these instructions, and do so in a timely manner, they will not transform and you will never face the snakes from the ground.

Stay around the edge of the room and keep running around it in a circle, it pretty much can't hit you.

Whenever it does an attack which puts its head down, go in, attack head, get out.

Then when it gets to the next phase, just go behind it, it will jump and miss you every time and you can just fuck up its legs/arms

just finished it. gr8 game. some thoughts:

-Combat system was fucking awesome. I just started the Witcher 3 and damn does it feel clunky compared to BB. specifically, the quickstepping (O when locked on) was really great.

-I'm not convinced the story made as much sense as the hardcore fans say. however, that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think how cryptic the bits and pieces were added to the overall vibe/aesthetic, and it was nice to play an RPG without long cutscenes throughout.

-something about the Insight system felt a bit off, although I'm not 100% sure what it was meant to achieve anyway. I've done some reading and it seems like there's a lot of speculation about what changes come about because of it... but yeah, it seems like there are enough other indicators of progress (overall level - specific attribute level - weapon level) that it really isn't necessary. I guess it's also a form of currency, but is that really necessary either? seems like Insight could have been scrapped.

-map was pretty awesome overall, but I could have done without the open forest areas. urban areas, castles, churches, etc. were way cooler than the forests imo.

-some more music would have been nice. there were some tedious-ish times when I was farming and wishing there was something going in the background.

-I thought it was pretty lame that you can only pistol stagger enemies on some attacks. like, I'm supposed to study all of each enemy's moves, know which attack they are starting, and then make the decision to stagger? because of this, the precise timing needed, and the fact that you have to be so damn close to actually pull off the visceral attack, I rarely used my gun. I did like using charged attacks from the back to stagger enemies though. that's where 95% of my visceral attacks came from.

-Gehrman was way fucking harder than any other boss. None of the others took me more than a few tries. Gehrman took about 20 attempts.

but yeah overall ~9.5/10 type of game imo

Perhaps but it feels empty. I'd rather have weapons gradually get better and be a little different as the game goes on rather than have a glut of dramatically different weapons at the beginning but hardly anything later.
