I can kill the striders pretty easily, but more than one of the fighters at once wrecks me.

Assassin and Mystic Knight. The whirlwind slashing attack is from Assassin and the Magic Canon is from Mystic Knight. That's nothing though, Mystic Knight can do that on his own with different attacks and even a lot better with some of the most elaborate set ups. That's actually a pretty tame amount of projectiles. Also they can buff their weapon so the canon takes on the same element and spits out fireballs or balls of lighting and etc.

Am I the only one who didn't make any loli characters? I just rolled with a team of bros and we were a veritable warrior squad.

Items always say that you can craft weapons and armor with them? How the fuck does this work? Don't tell me enhancing is what they actually mean. Except for buying them directly from traders there is only an extremely small chance to find a new weapon.

It gets incredibly dark and you cannot see anything, but I believe certain enemies like the undead are drawn to the lamp light. Other than that lamps are just meant to illuminate the area.

I don't get this game
I started out and grabbed a sword, some big ass dragon appeared, I did a 180, ran away

then it clawed me and a cutscene happened, but I accidentally skipped it trying to exit my steam overlay with ESC

Woke up in a house, learned I could pick people up, picked the girl up and threw her off a cliff (got 10xp).

I killed a bunch of rabbits and seagulls and shit (I'm a mage?) and went along to this encampment. I hired some soldiers or whatever, and then some ogre attacked. They kept going "ATTACK HIM ATTACK HIM", but I fell down the cliff and lived with like 90hp. I healed up and found some goblins on the beach (it was night), but before I could attack I was teleported to where the ogre guy was and got a bunch of exp and a quest complete?

i don't know what the fuck I'm doing
what am I supposed to do

Also, how to increase movement speed/maximum stamina? I'm slow as shit.

I believe stamina and movement speed are dependent on the amount of shit you have in your inventory. Empty it out and you'll go faster and can sprint for longer.

I'm guessing you're playing with low level pawns who don't have much knowledge yet.
If the pawn knows the enemy they'll always use the correct buffs.
And you can ask for buffs using the Help command, just don't spam it, press it once.

The Ur-Dragon has a shitton of health, so don't be discouraged if you do fuck all against him. It's for post-game stuff anyway. Online, you fight against the more powerful version of the Ur-Dragon. If you damage it, you'll be eligible to get really good loot once he goes down. Other players hack at his health as well. As soon as someone lands the finishing blow, a grace period appears. If you kill him during that time, you get loot and shit. Then, a new generation of Ur-Dragon appears, and it starts all over again. There is a time limit of 10 minutes for each time you encounter the Ur-Dragon.

Shit appears as you progress the main story.
Giving the silver idol to mr. Masterworks gives better equipment.
Giving him the golden idol gives you pretty much the best vanilla gear.
The best gear in the game doesn't come until BBI, but you can actually grind the shit out of the endgame to get full max upgrades
before you go there.

Endgame is essentially monster hunter anyway.
