Many falls in the midst of Chaos.
But not this one.
Was "don't stock up on torches" just a fucking meme?
3% crits and more loot is cool I guess but I keep getting my shit stomped because the enemies start shitting damage and my Plague doctor makes a beeline for the front line half the time.
>Mod that takes off the Crusaders mask
Modders I need
Which class do you guys think is the best front line hero?
I'm kind of in a quandary between the Leper, Man at Arms, and Hellion.
I just hope we'll be able to change more than their color pallete. Little changes like open helmet, different hat and such. It bothers me to have two identical characters so I always go with a full mix. That would help a lot with my autism.
Why not both?
But second - customisation with custom hats/armours/faces and hairs plus different looking weapons and free colours separate from skin and hair colours.
First option can be done really bad and I would prefer voices and full quotes.
>Person under arm
>shield raised to defend against incoming projectiles
>attempting to reach a flag that is away from all the fighting.
The MaA's is attempting to rescue a fellow soldier, placing himself into harms way to do it. He finds that all of his strength is for nothing when in the end he cannot protect anyone.
Man at arms men gets flanked he tries to save a private(Ingame he has a private line when he goes hopeless I think don't remember) fails and is the only survivor. His line did not hold
Just grind more if you need gold.
There's no turn limit to beat the game, just send more people in and dismiss them afterwards.
Or better yet just cheat in 999,999,999 gold and pretend you spent 100 hours "earning" it.
>Collector spawns 3 MAA heads
and that's how I beat him without taking damage
Reminder that one of the possible variants was an edgy dark knight version of the crusader, and a female version of the occultist called a Witch.
I hope someone leaks the Arbalest variant though.
>Collecter spawns three highwayman heads
They better update him so he can summon any character class one day.
>Hellion head Iron Swans your back row guy or yawps, stunning your first two heroes
>Occultist either heals him to full or gives him a bleed
>Bounty Hunter uses the Get Over Here Hook
>crusader uses stress flags on you
>going through the ruins
> a little beat up, but my time at camp has gotten everyone back on their feet
>a wild collector appears!
>he just keeps spawning highwaymen
>By the end of it all my heroes are bleeding and at or near deaths door
There can be no hope in this hell. No hope at all.
>Collector spawns MAA, HWM,Vestal head
I welcome death
I've been playing Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay lately, many of it's classes would do really nicely in this game.
> still nothing about the Witch Hunter
>could have had a gunslinger with Gallic moustache
>tfw no halberdier
I like that shield skelly design too.
Also works for the Darkest Dungeon in some cases.
POST YOUR NAMES
> Occultist - Avdol
> Highwayman - Edwin
> Crusader - Siegfried
> Vestal - Hilda
> Hellion - Freia
> Jester - Cicero
First he got Rabies.
Then he got Fated.
Now I found Dismas head.
>go threw the cove
>first time Lobster guy
>He uses artery pinch
>10 health bleed
I didn't need that Highwayman anyway
>Finally get a Jester
>a bunch of lute skills
How effective is a bard Jester?
I can see a team with one in the back row never needing to worry about stress ever again, but it kind of feels like a waste if he never really attacks.
Jester + 2 Aboms = Profit.
Shred your foes to pieces with hardly any stress penalties.
It will be pretty much like pic related
Just looking at the skills, I'd say my general plan is to have my bard in the back, then a vestal, then someone in rank two that can attack from rank three.
My Jester will battle ballad, then next turn he can either solo, or stress heal as needed, then after the solo, he nukes whomever he wants and heads back to the back rank to do it all again. Mean while my Vestal has no issues moving from rank three to four, and my front ranks can still deal their damage while the Jester solos.
The only problem is that if I do that I can't really use Plague Doctor very much, though I love her look and skills, since I can't really see keeping her in rank 2.
>Start jester in position 4
>solo forward to debuff+speed buff
>finale nuke someone
>weave in either buff or stress heals
>solo back forward and finale if needed
you just want to make sure your finale isn't being done while the 40% damage debuff is still up
Wait, so the game was originally planned to have a bunch of grizzled, smelly Euro-colonial manly men running around and slaying cosmic horrors as seen in a proper Lovecraft setting?
And instead we got independent womyn cleric, hay guise grills cn rob graves too :D and WE WUZ ARBALESTS N SHIET?
What the fuck? There's some hamfisted Tumblr-tier diversity quotas going into effect here.
I'm just throwing it a bone saying it's a totally different universe. And to be frank here.
Hellion is a woman who uses pure emotional strength for her attacks.
Plague Doctor just safely throws bombs in the back.
Grave Robber is dexterous throwing knives.
Vestal is literally a nun.
None of them are really tanks besides the Hellion but she uses pure emotion to take the attacks.
>see a dinner cart in the warrens
>MaA says "I need myself some grub!"
>Lucks out and gets the "some of this is edible.."
>steals 4 food and some onyx
Wat. His only bad quirks are Thanatophobia and Resolution, can resolution pop that up or what?
I think the hooded figure with two knives might be what the Grave Robber used to be before she was changed. I think original Grave Robber was female too, judging by how much skin her pants are showing.
The two figures at the upper left seem to be concept art Arbalest and Hellion too.
Hellion isn't even a tank. She has noticeably less HP than other melee fighters like Crusader, Leper, and MaA. She's an "offense over defense" character.
What are his diseases? Maybe tapeworm causes it?
Are there any new classes being released for the full release? I have most of my characters at about level 3 right now, and I'm liking the game so far, but it's a real shame there's no actual fail state. The game also seems to be easier than the first couple of levels. That might be due to finding out more about game mechanics, but it's not the tough game I was hoping for.
>Game is modable
I wonder if someone can add sync kills into the game or add death animation for some bosses
So far only one was confirmed, a female Merchant. They said that taking her will feel like an escort mission. My guess is that she simply sucks at combat no matter what position, but she can use her skills to steal and pillage. Or get the best possible loot from curios. Or more heirlooms. Anyway she'll most likely speed up the early game grind a bit.
>It's more likely she'll be Asian.
How long until we have a comic of The DD girls geting rape by pigman
I just want a blonde Hellion.
Also, are Town Events coming with the full release?
We're talking ASIAN Asian or politically correct mudslimes Asian? Sorry, living in UK for 3 years will do that to you. People are afraid to call them "Arabs" for some reason.
>hag falling into her cauldron
>The Prophet farseeing his own demise then the roof collapses on him
>The sunken crew thanking you before they finally disappear.
That sounds pretty grand, I hope someone does this.
>have a nightmare
>Its about Darkest dungeon
>Extremely vivid dream of me going threw the Warren
>Getting chased by pigman and hearing those fucking snorts
Wow, that actually sounds really fun. Why are you guys saying the gold grind is so bad in the beginning? I just have trouble getting the heirlooms mostly. I've only had 2 characters die on me, though, but I've been forced to retreat a couple times.
>Also, are Town Events coming with the full release?
Post release, along with merchant.
I believe Red Hook is American, and Americans tend to think of "Asian" as referring to far east Asians like China, Japan, and Korea.
But anyways, the idea that she will be Asian is just a guess. In terms of appearance, the devs have only said she'll have a "silk road aesthetic" so she might be another Middle Easterner like the the Occultist, a Chinawoman, or a European trader.
The appearance was voting on by kickstarter backers. The other contenders was a gypsy merchant, and something else that I can't remember.
Well she obviously won't be that useless, I bet she'll either have abilities that up the difficulty of a battle for greater reward, or she buffs a fuck ton but she is squishy like sin.
>Make it the hero has a chance to run away and you having to go get him.
Well anon, if I hear that you didn't rip and tear their guts in the end of that dream, I'll be awfully disappointed in you.
His Finale sucks and its his only back moving ability, so you can't buff up, bounce in stack bleeds bounce back, buff up reliably for any possible concept of good damage making him just shit.
Also from like, level 3, Houndmasters Stress Relief is flat out better, so his entire utility becomes +2% crit, +3SPD.
It would be funny if she's a foreigner and Has no idea what's going on.
>In the Coach court in the manor
>Everyone smells weird
>Weird guy in armor yelling about seeing horror creatures in the cove
>stress ability better than Jesters.
Come on, anon, you can't be doing that now.
Full party stress heal with a small chance of missing might look good on paper but in game, it really does feel like you're wasting his talents with the rng gods fucking with you.
>It would be funny if she's a foreigner and Has no idea what's going on.
I love that idea.
>everyone sitting around fire looking into the flame stressing on what is to come.
>Merchant says something incoherent
>Stress drops for everyone except for the merchant.
Such is a Merchants life.
I guess i'd rather pack another damage dealer that is capable of marking targets than a pure support like Jester. Plus his Finale really, REALLY fucking sucks and its his only way to get him back to his support spot, so if you want to utilize his non support abilities you have to pack that shithouse ability.
I wonder how the merchant even got to the hamlet
The guardian shield looks fucking great but the thing is you have a guy in a position that could've been used for a healer or a ranged damage dealer and you have to be aware that he is now on full buff duty since he cannot attack at all in that position.
>solo forward speed buff
>have a man at arms guarding etc if you want to be fancy
>finale nuke him back
>speed his debuff turns supporting
He's fine, he's good to pair with the abom leaving your houndmasters more flexability since you'll already need them for stunning, damage, etc.
Haven't played since Early Access went up on Steam, though I might actually buy it instead of pirate it when it comes out in a few days.
Whats all this I hear about Corpses? How do they work? Seaside cool? Any new units besides Arbalest and Man at Arms? I could say a lot about this game, but nothing is better then the Stress mechanic catapulting your dudes into Heroes
>Fighting Necromancer the first time
>War of attrition, health half but stress almost max
>Entire party goes under
>They're ALL heroes
And nothing ever good happened to me in game ever again
Considering most keep their faces covered yeah I guess I would, since biggest issues with cosplay are facial structures being all wrong. Body types you just have to not be a retard about and you'll be fine.
remember friends. prerelease rules are darkest dungeon or merchant gets= free picks.
Also, I'm on the fence about starting over for release or just keep playing my current game. What are others going to do?
I want to go to the final dungeon right away, so I'll keep my old game, and if all my favorite heroes wind up dying and I have to raise a new crop of newbies, I'll start over.
I heard some of the bosses have improvements. I was watching a stream Red Hook was doing and saw that hag can heal herself now, that's a new thing.
>I was watching a stream Red Hook was doing and saw that hag can heal herself now, that's a new thing.
not that new. It's been there since the houndmaster update, she just doesn't like doing that often.
>Does she drink from the cauldron while my comrades are be cooked from?
Yeah, it heals when she uses "taste the stew."
Anon, it's already too late for some of us. Continue waiting in my stead. I.. I cannot resist.
I'm starting a new game at release anyway
Just beat the Collector with a party of level 0's and 1's. Feels good.
Does this thing do anything by the way, or can I sell it without repercusions?
if you mash the first letter of the class you want to show before clicking on the stage coach it gives a high chance of showing up. i love how they incorparated old-school style cheat codes. theres also big head mode and others
>First time against the swine prince
alright, what the fuck is this difficulty curve? Necromancer was a walk in the park, the person in the wealds was fine. I show up here and my team gets clobbered for 40, with no counterplay? (He clobbers through my blackjacking with stun item houndmaster)
Am I even supposed to kill willbur, or just burn through him as fast as possible?
Next time bring an occultist with weakening hex.
>Am I even supposed to kill willbur, or just burn through him as fast as possible?
Oh I am sure, it's still a wonky as fuck difficulty curve. Similar to the coves. thankfully I hardly need to go there early on because you're tripping over their items for awhile since you get them everywhere
Alright, let's see what I get.
Also fuck rerolling if I get Abomination and a religious class; it's a dumb mechanic when the Occultist already exists without it. Even if it's to force people to try different builds, it's a dumb way to do it- if you're "forcing" players to not mix and match when that's part of the game's fun, you're doing it wrong.
What I don't get is why religious characters won't party with Abom, but are cool with the Occultist.
Houndmaster, Merchant, Grave Robber, and Hellion...
Oh boy. At least it's in the Ruins; no disease-spewing fungi, and Hound master's stress heal can help with those chalice-dicks. Hellion's bleeds are going to be useless though...
so canon-wise you should only have one leper per playthrough.
speaking of which, what are some other self-imposed changelles?
I know theres:
>no torch runs
>one per class
>only class based trinkets
I will remember this boney fucker and his goblet madness.
But that fucking madmem
The narrator says in regards to the Occultist that to fight the abyss one must know it.
I imagine the religious characters accept partying with the Occultist because he isn't something unholy but instead knows and delves in unholy shit.
The Abomination is an outright unholy being.
>Crusader won't party with Abomination
>Has no issue embarking with an Occultist, even let's the Occultist buff him with eldritch powers at the campfire
>post yfw religous friends won't party with graverobber or occultist next patch because of their heretical practices.
he fucked up his performance and got somebody killed
>I suffered much indignation at Court - I've a taste for it now.
>Jester's comic has him witnessing or causing the death of someone important, like a princess or king.
>He liked it.
>mfw you will never breed with Grave Ropper's fine Royal ass
Can someone post how to remove those fucking stupid level caps for dungeons? I just want to use my level 3s to fight a boss.
Can anyone tell me if I'm understanding Man at Arms' Guardian Shield correctly?
It gives a bunch of stat bonuses while in position 4, but i'm honestly not sure which spot it is. The game simply does not say or if it did i can't find it. If position 4 is the spot closest to the enemy then hot damn this is by far the most OP piece of shit in the game then.
HOW TO FIX HIGHWAY MAN
buff all his range attacks to do 2x more damage but give him a debuff for 3 turns that makes him do 100% less range damage
there, now the musket makes sense and he gets balanced
>put on def ring
>put on MMA tank shield
>spam protection on 2 allies
thats like what? 80% prot? you can honestly run 2 highwaymen in the front cycling pointblank shot over and over
Haven't played since before the new classes were introduced, what are you favorite lineups and abilities with the new ones?
Also what the heck is the Collector and should I be worried
>fight siren for the first time, didn't look at what she does beforehand
>she grabs my MAA
>he just uses command for 3 turns straight before getting converted again and again
>siren just blows her shell at us
I can if I go in and remove that function from my copy of the game.
I fail to see how a holy crusader would be cool with summoning fucking tentacles from another dimension. If he's tolerant or desperate enough to be fine with that, he should be fine working with a cursed guy using his affliction for good ends.
That's sort of the point of there not being party restrictions originally, in my opinion: Eldrich horrors are infesting the mansion, fighting to clear it is a suicidal, and likely impossible task, so you fight with anyone willing to go. The situation is so bad, they can't afford to not work with someone due to doctrine or principle or personal taste; that they're willing to risk their lives fighting back the darkness is the only requirement.
>further removing the fun from the game
I wouldn't be surprised if they did.
The Collector has a 1 in 20 chance to pop up every time your inventory goes over 65%.
Considering how much shit you get after the first three dungeons are so, you're going to run into him at some point.
He summons heads, They're all annoying in their own way.
I like using GR, Occ, Crusader, and Hellion. MaA is a good substitute for the Hellion, but I try to keep her around because she's mai waifu.
The Collector is a new miniboss that summons ghosts to help him. If you beat him, you get unique trinkets, or a gem worth a lot of cash.
>that shit eating grin he gives you as he sells you food you may or may not need
what a passive aggressive cunt
I lost a Vestal that way. But now we know, brother.
That makes sense
I bumped into him doing my first run since I put the game down. Having zero understanding how he worked and the fact I already had 2 people breaking from stress, I kinda just said screw it and ran
>MaA confirmed for next nerf hammer recipient
they already confirmed Workshop support, it's not that hard to imagine what it's gonna be custom classes and skins for heroes most likely am what i'm hoping become what's popular to make but more likely than now we get stuff like changes to class abilities and simple stuff that only requires changes in the ini file.
Mods you guys want the most?
Mods you dread seeing?
>rule 63 mod
>reskin mods that let you use variations of the current heroes (helmless crusader, arbalest with hat, etc.)
>doing a run to train up a new team
>my Vestal crits literally every heal except one, which was a 6
>half her attacks were crits too
I read "dread" as "dredd"
Dredd mod for highwayman when
the alt skin mods like you mentioned and
>that mod we talked about where the pigmen kidnap your female party members
>big mods that add new areas
> more eldricht tentacle styled monsters
>more interesting mods like the first I mentioned.
>all of what you listed.
>easy mode mods for casual scum.
this. Remember that the Light abandons no man
I hate it because the way they chose to implement it is fucking dumb. It says that no corpses are left if it dies to blight or bleeding, but it's not just dying while afflicted, it has to be to damage from those effects which is overly restrictive. If you kill it while it's blight/bleeding with a normal strike, it will still leave a corpse. Stupid.
Need a proper edit of this.
>phone app-tier bullshit rng fest
>applauded by /v/
Someone drew fat slob fetish art of the plague doctor, and now a handful of fags are trying to force le thick maymay.
What we really need is a shortstack heroine anyways.
That makes sense but
>People forcing this fetish are fags
>Please force my fetish
>the color of the flag matters.
The enemy soldier that the MaA kills seems to be wearing a very faded green, so the flag could be the enemy flag.
The MaA and his soldiers were most likely trying to capture that flag, rather than protect it.
>With the regimental flags generally in the middle of the fighting, there was always the possibility that a flag could be captured. To a Civil War soldier, the loss of a regimental flag was a colossal disgrace. The entire regiment would feel shamed if the flag was captured and carried away by the enemy.
>Conversely, to capture the battle flag of an opponent was considered a great triumph, and captured flags were cherished as trophies. Accounts of Civil War battles in newspapers at the time would generally mention if any enemy flags had been captured.
If you could remove one enemy, which one would it be?
If there are two fights in the same hall, one of them is probably the collector, right?
>mfw Arbalest with Flare and Occultist with Weakening Curse
one day I shall git gud at drawfagging
then there shall be many lewds
Wish me luck. This faggot better drop the ancestral map.
this prompted me to make this, 5000 billion years in mspaint
>get the map
>DARKEST DUNGEON . EXE HAS STOPPED WORKING
Oh shit, I didn't collect my map before the thing crashed, am I screwed?
False alarm, when I opened up the game, the map was still there.
That was a close one.
Abomination is pretty good for the Shambler fight. I camped before meeting the shambler, and stacked damage buffs onto the Abom. Anytime the Shambler summoned the little guys, the Abom just used rake to kill them before they could act.
I was hoping to try the shambler with the usual team I used, but most of them were out destressing.
this is the only game I actually did this a few times.
I played the oldschool X-COMs on ironman in the hardest difficulty(Apocalypse aside, played it on normal) but I shit bricks before a boss fight in this game.
Did my first torchless run, probably would have done better if I brought a dedicated healer... and didn't went to the cove, and didn't bring a Level 1 with un-upgraded shit. All in all, no one died and I didn't gather enough stress to warranf a stress relief mission. Got a tons of great quirks.
uh I misworded, I meant the stress relief buildings. Though I do have missions where my only intent is to stress relief (Mostly bringing the Jester then have him spam his stress relief skills)
>Not putting your Man at Arms at the back and making him a buff hero
Seriously, with Guardian's Shield and with a Dodge Party, they're fucking invincible. You can up to +15 Dodge.
Did another one, except this this it's long and in the weald, still no dedicated healer, run would have probably gone fine if I didn't use some of my food to heal my Jester then later my Hellion since I used 8 food and FFS later on I had 2 fucking hunger checks I couldn't do jackshit on.
Have you ever just said fuck it and deleted a save? I just did after doing a dark run and getting 3 groups of brigands in a row with 2 fusiliers each shitting out 5+ damage across my whole team first time every time.
62 weeks in. Kind of regretting it because i forgot how ass level 0s are and healing without trinkets sucks balls.
Think about what build you have for each class. Crusaders, Man At Arms and Leper need Tanky perks. Arbalist, Highway man and Grave robber need Crit, Houndmaster need dodge perks and Healers need speed perks. Whatever it is, lock the quirk early because the cost scales up as your heroes level up.
So since they now limit the amount of supplies you can take on a mission, did they nerf the bullshit hunger RNG?
I remember you used to have stretches where you ate every god dammed hallway. Surely they wouldn't limit your supplies and then punish you for not having enough food....right?
I've always have had enough food for passing the hunger procs, but I can't bring enough food to have everyone chow down after every fight.
I've had one of them with diseases and quirks that made them eat more, and made it out ok, but I think taking a party full of people with those things might be asking for trouble.
The supply limits are way too generous, you will almost never make a profit if you grab all of them. Hunger's still RNG but I think there's a max limit to the number of times it can proc in a quest.
>go to provision
>open trinket inventory
>click and drag a shitty trinket into a space JUST in between the slots of the trinket inventory
>close trinket storage
>trinket is in list of provisions
>hit back to hamlet
>suddenly you have 10k more gold
googled and they're patching it
Don't tell you me you guys knew about this provisions screen bullshit the whole time and didn't tell me.
>Build suicide team of Leper, Bounty Hunter, Houndmaster, and Occultist for quick extra cash
>Go on Long Apprentice Mission. Check 90% of rooms.
>Get a fuck huge dungeon with three splitting hallways
>Some how they manage to survive the entire ordeal. They manage to find more food when I originally only gave them enough for the 2 campfires
>Think I reach the end, but nope. I needed to check one more room and the last three were on the opposite side of the dungeon, thought I was safe with leaving them alone
>They manage to crawl all the way back, slowly starving to death and accumulating stress like mother fucks
>"But not this one... not today" every fucking time for all four of them
>The Occultist and Bounty Hunter starve to death a room before the final one
>Mission success and an extra 20K gold in my pocket
Those two are going on my permanent team. They are made of sturdier material than most.
i discovered you could even buy it back for the same price
I feel bad for abusing it but I kind of don't, so i'll take my cool 40k and leave it at that.
Ahh ok, the way you said it sounded like you got to keep the trinket AND get 10k in gold.
Yeah, its a little broken, specially since you sell the Trinket for its market value and not the reduced prices they want you to sell it for.
>keep doing shit like this for my own guys
>they never pull off this kinda shit again
>and then another of the same class shows up on the stagecoach with significantly better quirks right out of the gate
If i pirate the game will i be able to move my save file to the newer version when its released?
I wanna give this a try but i know theres a new version soon and just wondering.
Will you pirate the new version too? Because I had trouble transferring my old pirated saves to newer versions, my game kept crashing.
I think if when you unzip the new version, if unzip it to where you unziped the old version, so the new files save over the old files, you should be ok. Don't take my word for it because it took me a few times to get it right.
>Keep doing this to shuffle rewards for my Veterens and earn extra gold
>Need occultist but they always die like pussies while contigency classes like jester and leper keep trucking on like nothing
Oh well, can't complain so long as I keep earning a profit.
Im one of those buy it if i like it guys /v/ doesn't like to admit exists (ended up buying One finger death punch and Recettear because fun) so i don't know if ill pirate the new version.
/v/ whats your favorite Narrator quote from Darkest dungeon?
>Press this advantage give them no Quarter
yeah, it's 3 for Small, 6 for Medium, and I think either 9 or 12 for Long, course more or less you possibly won't get that many all the time, but those are the max number of hunger events that can happen in each dungeon.
>Monsters' size has no intrinsic merit, unless inordinate exsanguination be considered a virtue
What did he mean by this?
just started my first medium mission, and man these Swinetaurs are fucking dangerous, if it wasn't for the fact that my MaA had 150% Stun Chance we'd be getting like 10 Damage every round.
That actually makes some sense. Thanks anon.
Posting the Ultimate Flesh Killing Team (That's not 4 Houndmasters)
Plague Doctor - Jester - Houndmaster - Hellion
Plague Doctor has Battlefield Medicine to cure DoTs, Emboldening Vapors to buff Hellion (This can be replaced with Noxious Blast) and both Grenade Attacks
Jester has both Sickle Attacks, his Buff Skill, and any skill for the last slot
Houndmaster has both Hound Attack, and anything else really (I prefer the Self Heal and Target Whistle)
Hellion has Iron Swan, If It Bleeds, her normal attack, and her self-Buff.
Basically Hellion can attack the Fleshy part everywhere and it can inflict DoTs if it's in the middle
Jester does the same
Houndmaster just Hound's Harry's all the time (Believe me, the culminated damage you get is almost on par with the normal damage you get especially if you have the Scooby Snack)
Plague Doctor stuns and blights.
Nearly everytime you attack you're inflicting DoTs so no turn is wasted on piddly 2DMG Attacks when there's no fleshy part to attack.
How many heads could Collector drop?
I just got this one
>play on my meme religious only estate
>leper is my main guy, good quirks and shiet
>after killing the second necro i decided to take a break and go to my "main" estate
>i was in the middle of a small ruins run
>defeat 2 spiders, get berserk mask
And is only like week 10, is it worth investing in a leper with that godlike trinket early on?
>Just now finding out about the Provision Trinket Sell glitch
>Now just doing quests over and over again so I can buy shitloads of trinkets from the caravan and sell them back for infinite gold
>Trying to get everyone geared and skilled out before the release
Whats the message to take away from this. Its pretty clear he was interested in the shitty rag on a stick for some unclear reason. He gets disintergrated in the last panel on the second row from the bottom. But then he lives? Stands up and what? Is it bad is it good? He got his shitty rag on a stick in the end.
So is he a winner is he a loser? Theres clearly no sentiment for the other guy that got exploded, so no emotional attachment to the dead is shown.
Its just amateur work, thats all. No need to get butthurt if the art of visual storytelling is a new thing for you and you have to make interpretations to justify the shortcomings of the artists skill.
Can anyone teach me how to play this game?
my party is crusader, crusader, that nun healer, and plague doctor
the crusaders beat everyone up
then when there's only one enemy left I cheese and spam the -stress skill, the +light skill and all the heals until everyone is in tiptop shape
am i retarded?
Are you make this one so called comic?
If not I don't understood your butthurt.
Art is weak. I can see that guy try to carry one guy to flag and get bombed but why it has meaning to him?
Its not like cool Lepper story(which is actually much better drawn) or Highway story which is heavy or even this silly lynch the nigger story for arbeltest. Its just weak compared to the rest and its weak overall.
He's getting more with the release.
Reminder that there are Lovecraft audiobooks read by him.
Real team right here mother fucker
Jester - occultist - Abomination - Man at Arms
Jester buff the party, keeps everyone not crazy, and has moves that help the party reshuffle back into order.
Occultist is the healer that gets better as he lvls, you ever seen a 50+ heal before? with the right trinkets the occultist will show you just that. That plus damage reduction, corpse cleaning, and back row damage, his versatility is irreplaceable.
Best hitting single stun in game, decent source of blight, best self healing and stress healing in the game. beast form is pure rape, enjoy a constant 35+ damage a turn from hits, 70+ from crits.
MaA, Tanks for you, can keep counter on for damage, really all you need. Mines running around with 70% protection and 60sih hp. Damn near unkillable. Eat your heart out giants.
>take reynauld on necromancer mission
>first curio, altar
>You have curied favor from the god!
>First turn, 45 crit on SMITE EVIL
>Second turn, pic related
So maybe you got loads of bad quirks. But you're alright.
I had a very similar fight for the shambler, 3/4 same party no jester. took out 1/3-1/2 his hp in one round, then he summoned. Then nearly EVERY ROUND he shuffled my abom to the back, and occ to the very front. Spent far too long having to use move or shit mobility skills to try and get people in position only for him to keep shuffling. Probably should of just bit the bullet and passed, and hope he shuffled me back and burned him then.
FUCK YOU GUY
>Houndmaster > Target Whistle
>Bountyhunter > Uppercut
>Plague Doctor > Noxious Blast
>Crusader > Smite
ROUND TWO ASSHOLE
>Houndmaster > Dog Treat + Hound's Rush
>Bounty Hunter > Collect Bounty
>Plague Doctor > Noxious Blast again
>Crusader > "Where'd the fuck he go?"
I love Houndmasters.
Collector is free loot once you get your party going.
I swear other than for drops purposes his only point is a marker for how far your parties progressed for those of us unlucky enough to met him near first starting off. RIP reynauld.
Ouch. I didn't even know he had a shuffle move ability other than the autosuprise at the start of the battle. He kept using the ability that summoned the clappertraps or whatever they're called when I met him.
