TW3 objectively goes to shit at the end. Game is great up until then, and it's pretty glaring that a lot of shit got rushed.

I think it's the best game of the last 10 years personally. I'm not sure what classifies as "memes", so I'll just say that it really nails the medieval aesthetic (especially if you have any appreciation for Slavic folklore or history) in a way that very few other games do. The combat is also perfectly serviceable provided you play on at least the second hardest difficulty, it's light years ahead of Arkham, Asscreed or Dragon Age. Where much of the game's criticism on /v/ stems from is that is kind-of a character action games, which puts it in line with comparison to Dragons Dogma and Dark Souls. It's combat is nothing like those games and isn't trying to be, something many of the ten year olds on this site who love Jap shit unconditionally cannot get into their heads.

In summary: yes, it's great. Beautiful, artistically coherent, superbly well written and facially animated, combat that does the job providing you're not expecting a soulsalike.

I'm ashamed at how mad I let myself get at people who forgive CDProjekt for everything, and consider them the best devs today.

Aside from being "nicer" and more open to their fans, they have not released a single flawless game. Neither has anyone else, but the fact of the matter is that many other devs create games that are great with flaws, and receive flak from /v/ to no end.
I don't even understand why CDRed is so universally loved. I mean, from a gameplay perspective they have been releasing average games since 2007. Why is it impossible for fucking ANYONE to criticize a games flaws?
