The witcher simply appeals to a wider audience. It's a very good game with an important cinematic aspect. Bloodborne is a more niched experience, so of course less people will play it, and of course, like it.

It's not to criticize TW3, but GOTY from the press doesn't mean much anyway, since they simply want to satisfy their readers to make sure THEIR game is GOTY.

The evidence is that Fallout 4 and MGSV are 2nd and 3rd when they simply don't qualify as contenders to GOTY. I love the MGS series, but MGSV is incomplete and has only the gameplay going for it, and even the gameply is not perfect.

Why is the witcher three such a boring game?

First couple of hours are extremely boring look and search missions.

You get exp from quests but all the quests in the first world after the griffen are like level 6 and higher recommended I'm only level four after beating an entire fucking first "land" of things to do.
