The only people who bought and reviewed the game are already deep into it's niche. Everyone else just ignored it, so no real negative input.

Plus is a whole "like/dislike" system. It's possible to enjoy aspects in a game enough to look-over it's gameplay, ie:characters, humor, story, etc. Most Nep fans will agree that the worst part of the games is the tedious gameplay, but stuck with the franchise anyway due to how likeable they see the characters as.

No, that's playing the game. Leveling up and doing what you're suppose to is not grinding. Grinding is circling around in the same area trying to fight the strong monster over and over again because it's the quickest way to level up.
