This. The game as a whole got a neat concept: "catch the monkeys then fight the bosses at some point". Unfortunately the game lacks innovation spanning 3 main titles. They added some gimmicks to spice things up a bit being costumes the best.. They didn't however improved the catching formula like sneaking and stage puzzles. Most of the catch boils down to gung ho style and netting them up.

Yumi makes the games more fun to play for me, but what a character thats enjoyable for you does is make you see the good aspects of a game that are already there.

She's adorable, but to me the games are 8/10 with or without Yumi. I'm biased though, since I love the franchise as a whole.

From what I remember, it's AE1's complete soundtrack remastered by the same producer that works with Britney Spears and a few other notable celebs or some shit. It actually sounds amazing and they've mastered it so that each track transitions into the next seamlessly, one long mix.

Not either of those guys but if you've played the games recently 1 and 2 hold up really well, while 3 is just a cute ride because the morph gauge makes shit too easy, and the levels are designed around using your morph gauge more than your gadgets.

Shit I meant Jimmy, for some reason I thought his name was Kakeru, anyway I mostly like 2 because it had the nicest controls without being too easy. And shit I know it's a kids game, but the morph gauges were fun for the first few catches and then they kinda lost their gimmick. Also Monkey Football was cooler than mesal gear solid. I beat Million Monkeys. That game was weird as fuck. It was somewhat of a disappointment since I thought it would be the greatest game ever. 1,2, and 3 are better. I wish we would get one more Ape Escape just one more. Please Sony.
