Trinkets you just shift click them when you're equiping / looking at them. But yeah i didnt think you can sell heirlooms. But i've got 156 crests and only 2 upgrades that need crests, but first i need like another 50 pages and paintings that i pick up at a rate of 4 per dungeon so by that point i'll have like 500 fucking crests.

I think finale should compleatly ignore prot of an enemy and maaaaaaybe a small buff to damage since without crit or dmg trinkets his finale isn't much damage anyway, the debug is necessary so you won't spam what is meant to be a powerful attack, the problem is that it's not even that powerful. At the same time I also want for HM to have a skill that ignores prot, like point blank shot ignoring half of it, or grapeshot ignoring it since the skill vas overnerfed, or pistol shot ignoring 10% of it or some shit.

Plenty of 3rd world countries have it. Also, armadillos are vectors of the disease. It's just not a huge problem in the civilized world because now we know what causes it and how to cure/treat it.

The black plague is also still around, and people still get it in the USA every so often. Like leprosy, we know how to cure it now.

Is it just me or do high light ambushes on your party happen pretty often? I usually do no torch runs and get ambushed fairly rarely but when I use torches the ambush rate on my scrubs skyrockets.

I dequirk everybody after every mission. It used to be a little costly but making sure my people can get a mission done and with as much loot as possible is well worth it.

Can anyone give stress avoiding tips? I've heard of people taking less than 15 total stress but I don't see how that's possible. Sometimes enemies hit first, I get nuked with stress when I dig through a barrier, my team says things that causes stress to their team mates.

If you get a houndmaster don't underestimate his team wide stress reducer. I first thought it was a single target with a 65% but it is party wide and really good.

But for all the strategizing this game purports, it all basically boils down to whoever kills shit the fastest wins. All the de-stressing in the world is just a fix to a problem that doesn't happen if you can shit out damage fast enough.

Only the bosses have any real strategy and that's mostly just stack bleeds / blights and positioning.

I bought it like a week ago, but i can't really see it changing that much. The core gameplay ain't changing and they've added 4/5 of the 'zones' you can explore, so i imagine the release will just be adding that 5th zone and minor changes then post-release probably add a few heroes, curios, trinkets, balancing ect.

No Melee Attacks, First Position, On Guard and Quick Reflexes, Gunslinger Buckle and anything else (I'm thinking dodgy sheath since he's not exactly the toughest in health), when you camp, Clean Guns and Scout Ahead. Guarantee front enemy dies immediately. I use him with a Leper that has Brawler Gloves, basically because of his quirks he almost always acts first so he immediately kills the guy up front and turns him to a corpse, Leper gets pushes up front and he has Brawler Gloves and Warrior's Cap(Since I ain't spending no turn buffing his Accuracy), unless the corpse is that of a big guy with tons of health, I find it much more convenient to just use Hew instead of Purge, plus Hew is there in case your Highwayman somehow doesn't kills the front guy. That's a pretty decent starter strategy that guarantees you can kill 2 people before the 1st round ends.

Sorry for being a faggot, but I haven't played the game in nearly a year (bought it the first day it came into early access and played it for about 20 hours).

The problem with him is he doesn't mesh well with others. He wants to keep moving while other classes mostly want to stay still. Originally he was going to be an anti scramble hero but that got toned down. Apparently at the start he had an ability that let you switch the places of any two hero's and it just fucking wrecked against anything that was meant to scramble you.

After that they just had no idea what to do with him and you have what he is now.

The DD lore seems to imply that there isn't anything like the manor any where else in its world. There are the standard horrors of war and banditry and the such, but nothing quite as monstrous as the stuff that the Ancestor unleashed. Shows in some of the comments that heroes make, as well.

It was a flop. Shambler got down to half health but ended up shuffling way too much. I'd only fought him once before when I was just starting. He made both my only my MAA could act, everyone else got fucked by positioning and the majority of the fight was using lackluster re positioning abilities only to get shufffled again the very next turn. Managed to flee with two on deaths door and full panic on the party.

The more you know I guess, make sure your party is fluid, could only get one heal off the whole fight.

There is few thinks that piss me off.
Limited recolours. All whites get black skin recolour but none black get white. No variations in clothes or equipments or weapons or hairs. No different set of equipments for classes. No special armours or weapons to find in dungeon.
Also food and camps mechanics.
Hunger should be secondary statistic like light. When feed people should get some small bonuses when hungry some stat debuff, problem when they got starving. It should just tick one tick for one tile/turn in combat. No heals from food but from potions/herbs/bandages/rests.
Tiring should be similar. Tick from movement and fight. You can take camping stuff for any dungeon but it costs you and take space. Tired guys get debuffs, fresh some buffs death tired force rests with high risks.
The maps should be bigger with different corridor lengths, hidden places and stuff. They should be random but permanent so if you fail to finish dungeon it stays and some of the monsters regenerate/new come. You need to beat first ones to get to another. Some big dungeons would need few tries(like first scouting/mapping) then cleanse.
Party could use holy water/salt to permanently clean some of the rooms.
All heroes are paid upkeep and get paid to do missions. Higher levels need to be paid more. Rest restore some sanity for free, they could also use their money that they earn to upgrade their weapons/armours and to restore sanity(or send it home).
Critic hits can cause permanent wounds that need to be healed in hospital similar to sickness.
There should be new traits system called Knowledge where characters that fight often against some sort of creature or in some areas get some buffs(aka old Tactics etc).
Quirks and stuff should be more connected with going stressed . Like character getting powerful in darkness have high chance to get good quirk when getting paranoid will likely give him a bad one.

Overall game is great but its grind. Love music, Narrator and characters.

One thing that kinda irks me about this game is that there's very little visual representation of progress.
No matter how many bosses you kill or runs you complete, the hamlet will still look like a depressing shithole and everywhere else will still be festering pits of corruption even if you killed all three levels of bosses

I know you need to have dungeons open to allow you to level up new heroes but it's still a bit discouraging

I prioritize guild and blacksmith to upgrade skills and armor. I don't want to get screwed by getting high level heroes for high level dungeons but can't get their gear to measure up.

Next is sanatorium and one stress relief building. Altering quirks and relieving stress helps in slowly creating good soldiers you want to stick with instead of dismissing.

As for spare crests(?) survivalist camp is more important that the trinket wagon but that's just my opinion.

The first thing I do is make sure there's a wide selection of heroes so I don't have to put up with a run using heroes I hate. Since it's a short while before I repair the Blacksmith or Guild, I try expand the slots for the stress relief, starting with the church thanks to Reynauld.
