How do you think Dismas and Reynauld know each other?
>my team doesn't fit into any of those categories
what the fuck am i supposed to do with all these fucking crests?! every god damned run iget a minimum of 24 crests. i want fucking papers or something stop giving me fucking crests jesus tittyfucking christ. im not even spamming cove and all i get is FUCKING CRESTS!
The player and them were good childhood friends.
Raynald of Châtillon was a knight who served in the Second Crusade and remained in the Holy Land after its defeat. Raynald was an enormously controversial character in his own lifetime and beyond; Muslim writers often took him to be the chief enemy of Islam. Guy was the greatest Kebab remover.
Dismas is the name of the penitent thief of the bible.
Just some lore tidbits
>mfw I actually ran out of crests in my recent playthrough
they will prob add lore to this man
no idea, maybe the highwayman is seekin retribution cus he killed that mom and kid in that stagecoach like in the comic
and the crusader brings him along to help him repent or somethin and wants to kill shit too, maybe highwayman was gonna hang but crusader took him with him to the estate instead?
^ i think prob most likely
answer this dude how do you sell trinkets?
i dont think you can though man. why would you sell them anyway unless you got everything maxed out?
Trinkets you just shift click them when you're equiping / looking at them. But yeah i didnt think you can sell heirlooms. But i've got 156 crests and only 2 upgrades that need crests, but first i need like another 50 pages and paintings that i pick up at a rate of 4 per dungeon so by that point i'll have like 500 fucking crests.
>mfw one of the names of the leper is Baldwin
>4th panel of the comic
There's too many. I find that on a medium-long dungeon where I'm doing well I tend to run out of space; first thing I get rid of are the stupid crests.
this was kind of weak desu senpai.
This is funny as fuck
>"quick girl take this crossbow the size of your entire body, niggas getting lynched
>explore 90% rooms
>get to the last room
>turns out you skipped one room too many
>all the side rooms you scouted on the way have walls
>got rid of your shovels to make space for more loot because you thought you wouldn't need them
>tossed your campfire, because you got to what you thought was the last room with barely any stress
>the only room that MIGHT not have a wall is the side path all the way at the start of the dungeon
>march to said room
>on the way you find The Collector
Filling the cult witch's ass full of tentacles, critdaggers, and holy lances.
Hellion is the one and only strong independent womyn that matters
>wanting a moor warrior class who would chop up mofos with a scimitar is white supremacy
>you will never a little village boy and /ss/ with sex-starved heroes
>heal negative quirks by burning scrolls in the Warrens / rubbing herbs on coral in the Cove
>use PD and GR to heal diseases while camping
I think finale should compleatly ignore prot of an enemy and maaaaaaybe a small buff to damage since without crit or dmg trinkets his finale isn't much damage anyway, the debug is necessary so you won't spam what is meant to be a powerful attack, the problem is that it's not even that powerful. At the same time I also want for HM to have a skill that ignores prot, like point blank shot ignoring half of it, or grapeshot ignoring it since the skill vas overnerfed, or pistol shot ignoring 10% of it or some shit.
>Game's releasing in three days
>already got 100 hours played in a year of early access
Never had so much enjoyment out of an Early Access game. I spent more time on this game last year than on Bloodborne
So the last dungeon is going to be released with the full game right?
I'm really looking forward to the
Of course, dude.
Why else do you think every character receives whispers from a deadman?
>medium corpse cleansing in weald
>not a single room battle
>2 heroes with 20 stress, 2 with 0
>1 room battle on last room
>4 rabid hounds
>10k gold and 30 relics
I got my fingers crossed for Demon Pope and Tentacle Witch.
>mission to defeat [that one boss that gives you trouble]
>get a battle in every hallway and room
>early excursion into cove going very well
>get to final room
>tfw the whole fucking battle goes to shit when octocestus stacks on grave robber waifu and leper
>can't fucking do shit but whittle them down and pray the bleed doesn't deathblow them
>close the game in a fit of rage
>first vet cove mission
>fighting first crab
>lmao 3dmg lets see what pissy little bleed is tacked onto this
>mfw 8 damage per rd (3 rds)
Allright guys, have fun with this. in case of pre-release play
0= free pick and darkest dungeon = free pick.
>Get attacked by only one cutthroat
>Short run on cove, level 0s
> First corridor has 2 fights, one with 4 spearfishmen and the other with 3
>At the end of the corridor, the room has 4 more fishspearmen waiting for me
I closed the game, gonna wait for full release before I rage.
>make this post while on victory screen
>same Leper gains Fated
holy shit guys
I wish they kept the helmet for the Arbalest, I think she looks better with it on.
Might be cool. I've mostly just been running short dungeons looking for shambler altars. As soon as I start looking for them, suddenly the dumb things decide to start showing up.
holy shit Misha you'd better play this through
I only have one Man At Arms. And there aren't any in my wagon.
Should I just play dungeons until I get enough MaA to do a green mission?
I suppose so. damn I put 3 of some class in to fill up spots. anybody have ideas of how to improve the rollin chart? I made it a png for the express reason of keeping it easy to edit
You could try this:
First two digits determine 1st hero
2nd two digits determine 2nd hero,
last digit determines dungeon.
For example, for your post:
Lets say 00-10 is crusader, 11-20 is highwayman, 21-30 is vestal, 31-40 is plaguefu, 41-5o is jester, etc
First hero would be plaguefu
second hero would be jester
3rd hero would be highwayman
4th would be some other thing.
It's a bug from an old build. I don't remember exactly what caused it, but I think it was sort of like the Warlord Ghandi bug in an old civ game where if you get a stat so low, instead of going to the negatives, it instead goes to it's highest possible positive number.
You use him with a Jester to negate stress.
Then put rabies, legendary bracer and damage stone on him.
Then have your MAA buff his ACC and Speed.
There. That's how I do it except for rabies. Fucking Abom won't take the knot.
go fucking nuts
If enemies roll up on your shit and the words "oh shit" pop into your head just go ballistic.
Otherwise you're a stun/blight bot.
/r/ing RIP AND TEAR YOUR GUTS with Abom shoop
Once you get the mechanics down (Doesn't take loing at all) it's just a boring grind where you randomly get RNG fucked by something that forces you into more boring grind. Which is a shame, because the atmosphere makes you really want to see everything.
Medium cove run, 3 walls, 2 crustacean chests and 1 oyster. Was lucky enough to loot enough shovels for them.
Lunge-rampart-holy lance carried my ass in there, insane reach. All fights were 3 turns or less.
>having more than 1 of each hero type
Leprosy is pretty easy to cure these days, r-right?
The cost to remove quirks and stress goes higher their resolve levels. If your Sanitarium isn't full of level 0s undergoing medical treatment, you're not building your future A team.
I had two but one of them died recently. He's one of my favorite classes but another one hasn't showed up in the caravan since.
Also, I'm about to go do this run >>324124758
Houndmaster, Vestal, Bounty Hunter and Hellion
Should probably be fine but my current Bounty Hunter is only a seeker.
Plenty of 3rd world countries have it. Also, armadillos are vectors of the disease. It's just not a huge problem in the civilized world because now we know what causes it and how to cure/treat it.
The black plague is also still around, and people still get it in the USA every so often. Like leprosy, we know how to cure it now.
Is it just me or do high light ambushes on your party happen pretty often? I usually do no torch runs and get ambushed fairly rarely but when I use torches the ambush rate on my scrubs skyrockets.
I fired them both so I wouldn't have to watch them die.
Can anyone give stress avoiding tips? I've heard of people taking less than 15 total stress but I don't see how that's possible. Sometimes enemies hit first, I get nuked with stress when I dig through a barrier, my team says things that causes stress to their team mates.
>when I beat my first dungeon with my leper I saw myself beating the game with him
>after a few runs I and seeing as he's currently on death's door I know realise he wont see the end of this one
If you get a houndmaster don't underestimate his team wide stress reducer. I first thought it was a single target with a 65% but it is party wide and really good.
But for all the strategizing this game purports, it all basically boils down to whoever kills shit the fastest wins. All the de-stressing in the world is just a fix to a problem that doesn't happen if you can shit out damage fast enough.
Only the bosses have any real strategy and that's mostly just stack bleeds / blights and positioning.
Instead of having Location be based on the last number, have it be every digit of the post added together - and then every digit of that number added together until there's only one digit left.
Will this game change alot prior to its release date? If I get it now, will there be more stuff getting added, or the entire game is out, they just need to tweek minor things.
It's releasing in a few days and I think the only thing coming is the final dungeon and a few tweeks. After release they said they'd finish a event system for the hub and a few more classes.
I really wish there was a upgrade to autolevel your level 0 dudes. That would take out a bunch of the grind.
I bought it like a week ago, but i can't really see it changing that much. The core gameplay ain't changing and they've added 4/5 of the 'zones' you can explore, so i imagine the release will just be adding that 5th zone and minor changes then post-release probably add a few heroes, curios, trinkets, balancing ect.
But yeah, i got it like 4-5 days ago and i'm 60 hours in already and i'm just scratching the surface.
Currently doing a fully dark 2/2 abom/houndmaster run and i'm getting no loot whatsoever, but demolishing everything in my path.
What else goes good with 2 aboms in the front?
>tfw doing a fresh playthrough, learning from my mistakes and taking things carefully and safely
No deaths and controlled stress, I feel like I am doing great so far but know I am afraid I will somehow mess up and get Rey and Dis slaughtered over something I missed.
>start new save
>get shuffled in fat man + fusilier fight
>point blank shot crit on dismas
>reynauld follows soon after
>wagon has two arbalests, a vestal and the plague doctor
We can cure it, and the disease itself isn't really fatal. However, it's related to TB, meaning the bacteria is especially annoying to deal with as it requires a good long run of antibiotics to cure due a waxy-like cell wall, and that it slowly divides.
Lost my best hound master died jesterday
named him after myself and my dog
my dog was taken to det vet and he said he has a tumor in his brain If he doesn't get better before wednesday he is going to be put down Somewhere deep down i think i did this to myself
So how is your day DD bois?
> RNG wrecks Hellion with massive focused Stress Damage
> "BUT NOT THIS ONE..."
> "NOT TODAY."
Simple mobile-level game makes people more hyped than Top Shelf titles.
It plays literally like Granblue Fantasy 90% of the time.
>Main hub world for buying supplies/crafting
>Stage couch is basically a gacha machine
>"Hall" segments where you gain perks or debuffs
>"Rooms" where you fight enemies
Have to basically be retarded not to see it.
>go fight the prophet blind thinking it will be easy like the necromancer
>he proceed to wipe the floor with my party
>hellion, my only decent damage dealer is on verge of snapping
>crits Iron Swan 2 times in a row
>mark Shambler with BH or HM
>BH HM proceed to miss literally 5 70%+ attacks
>LOL THEY'RE DEAD
>LOL 40 STRESS CRITS
>the only hero that isn't a dribbling fucking retarded piece of XCOM Rookie SHIT (my Hellion) went vigorous
>can't do anything against LOL150%PROTECT
Jesus fucking christ the RNG in this game is seriously bullshit sometimes.
everything about the Shambler is just a massive fucking pain. The tentacles look like they're embedded in the ground, why do they have such obscene dodge?
Is the prophet really strong? I only fought him once and it was basically.
>Does some aoe to my first two lines.
>Just some glowing shit above them.
>Oh fuck, this is some marked shit, right? Now he's going to crit them forever.
>Does it again.
>All of my heroes have an attack for the 4th row.
>Kill him without receiving any damage.
In XCOM you could always account for rookies being shit through positioning
although it's the grenades more than anything
How bad is RNG? Thinking of buying the game but don't want to become a savescummer
I think merchant will have some buff / destresser without heals and let you maybe sell trinkets or have a few additional slots for pickups during a run.
Musketeer is just going to be another Arbalest / Highwayman though. I wanna see something like a Pyromancer or Wizard.
you can just do it yourself, all you need to do is alter one of the Color Variations to that.
No Melee Attacks, First Position, On Guard and Quick Reflexes, Gunslinger Buckle and anything else (I'm thinking dodgy sheath since he's not exactly the toughest in health), when you camp, Clean Guns and Scout Ahead. Guarantee front enemy dies immediately. I use him with a Leper that has Brawler Gloves, basically because of his quirks he almost always acts first so he immediately kills the guy up front and turns him to a corpse, Leper gets pushes up front and he has Brawler Gloves and Warrior's Cap(Since I ain't spending no turn buffing his Accuracy), unless the corpse is that of a big guy with tons of health, I find it much more convenient to just use Hew instead of Purge, plus Hew is there in case your Highwayman somehow doesn't kills the front guy. That's a pretty decent starter strategy that guarantees you can kill 2 people before the 1st round ends.
Sorry for being a faggot, but I haven't played the game in nearly a year (bought it the first day it came into early access and played it for about 20 hours).
What all has been added? Should I wait for the "full" release on the 19th or start playing again now?
This one was pretty bad compared to the others. I always thought Arbalest's comic would be about how she was in an army despite being a woman since a bunch of her skills imply that. Now we find out it's just because her daddy gave her a crossbow and had her run away on her own? Where'd she get the heavy armor and shit, how'd she learn to be a battle medic and shit?
>send a throwaway party to kill the Prophet
>Occultist goes irrational and says something about "breaking his casket and joining the stars" before offing himself
>MaA falls to the Prophets sneeze
>GR and Crusader won with barely any HP left and one of them blighted
They were expendable, yet it still hurts.
I always thought the caretaker was the ancestor's reanimated corpse that went bald from stress. I know the voice speaks of him, but speaking of your body as a separate maddened entity is pretty fitting for this game
few new classes, water dungeon some trinkets and balance changes i believe
tuesday brings the final dungeon
at some point we get town events another class and possibly cutscenes
Wish they took a more eldritch approach with this one. Like her going hunting with Pa, and him getting his black ass snared and eaten by a shoggoth or cultist until she found the proper way to kill it after so many bolts from his crossbow.
The problem with him is he doesn't mesh well with others. He wants to keep moving while other classes mostly want to stay still. Originally he was going to be an anti scramble hero but that got toned down. Apparently at the start he had an ability that let you switch the places of any two hero's and it just fucking wrecked against anything that was meant to scramble you.
After that they just had no idea what to do with him and you have what he is now.
>Going through the last room of a dungeon so I use up what's left of my food
>Take 3 steps and my party gets hungry, has no food and so takes damage and stress
Don't be so fucking stupid game.
>People bitch that The Collector is tough and 2spooky4me
>Run into him, get a little worried
>Just stun him and load him with doat
>Kill him without taking any hits
>People bitch that the prophet is too difficult
>Have Gravedigger with debuff trinkets knock his blight down and just load him up with poison from my Doctor+Gravedigger combos
>No one reach deaths door
The DD lore seems to imply that there isn't anything like the manor any where else in its world. There are the standard horrors of war and banditry and the such, but nothing quite as monstrous as the stuff that the Ancestor unleashed. Shows in some of the comments that heroes make, as well.
"Man, the road here was a goddamn nightmare. I'm glad the worst is behind me."
*Caretaker snickers uncontrollably*
They SERIOUSLY need to make hunger procs more predictable. They need to, at the absolute least, let you pick who eats and who starves if you don't have enough food for the whole party instead of the Narratour mourning the plow because we only had 3 breadsticks instead of 4.
>"Anything is better than sitting on this dump"
>Choose easy skirmish mission
>"Don't bother me with trivial task"
>People trying to call them homos
>Reynauld has a canonical wife who he still misses.
Chairman PC has power to decide when we eat, not who.
First hallway on a Veteran long mission. Only one level 4 on the team. Weapons level +1, Armor +2 on most guys. MaA build for utility, middle two for dmg, occ for heals. Think I should go for it? Strats for my team? Most abilities unlocked to a decent level so I can restructure.
>taking level ones out for a walk
>kind of read the description
>uses torch on it
Anyone have the problem where their mouse clicks don't register and the whole screen shifts in windowed? I've disabled overlay and tried everything in the bugfix master list. It's unplayable like this.
Go for it you good on stress and health, with the Abomination you can clean up the tentacles easily while everyone else focuses on the Boss.
Roll the dice, and retreat when things look grim
If you win you get a ridiculously nice trinket.
Your Occultist should be outputting damage when he can; the shambler is Eldritch. Have the Abom clear the summons, Houndmaster stack bleeds and heals, and use your occultist's decent damage. Make sure you can withstand the shuffle from activating the altar, and the shambler's occasional shuffle attack.
i never knew this could happen. i just got out of using an out of date pirated version and bought this marvelous game of torture. of course, i retreaded from combat but couldn't finish the quest
>this was my third quest
It was a flop. Shambler got down to half health but ended up shuffling way too much. I'd only fought him once before when I was just starting. He made both my only my MAA could act, everyone else got fucked by positioning and the majority of the fight was using lackluster re positioning abilities only to get shufffled again the very next turn. Managed to flee with two on deaths door and full panic on the party.
The more you know I guess, make sure your party is fluid, could only get one heal off the whole fight.
There is few thinks that piss me off.
Limited recolours. All whites get black skin recolour but none black get white. No variations in clothes or equipments or weapons or hairs. No different set of equipments for classes. No special armours or weapons to find in dungeon.
Also food and camps mechanics.
Hunger should be secondary statistic like light. When feed people should get some small bonuses when hungry some stat debuff, problem when they got starving. It should just tick one tick for one tile/turn in combat. No heals from food but from potions/herbs/bandages/rests.
Tiring should be similar. Tick from movement and fight. You can take camping stuff for any dungeon but it costs you and take space. Tired guys get debuffs, fresh some buffs death tired force rests with high risks.
The maps should be bigger with different corridor lengths, hidden places and stuff. They should be random but permanent so if you fail to finish dungeon it stays and some of the monsters regenerate/new come. You need to beat first ones to get to another. Some big dungeons would need few tries(like first scouting/mapping) then cleanse.
Party could use holy water/salt to permanently clean some of the rooms.
All heroes are paid upkeep and get paid to do missions. Higher levels need to be paid more. Rest restore some sanity for free, they could also use their money that they earn to upgrade their weapons/armours and to restore sanity(or send it home).
Critic hits can cause permanent wounds that need to be healed in hospital similar to sickness.
There should be new traits system called Knowledge where characters that fight often against some sort of creature or in some areas get some buffs(aka old Tactics etc).
Quirks and stuff should be more connected with going stressed . Like character getting powerful in darkness have high chance to get good quirk when getting paranoid will likely give him a bad one.
Overall game is great but its grind. Love music, Narrator and characters.
>his defeat and execution at the Horns of Hattin helped cause the Third Crusade
It was the defeat at Hattin and Saladin's conquest of Jerusalem that triggered the call for the expedition later called "the Third Crusade", not the execution of Reynauld
well, if this was a boss mission, it's the bottom right, if it's an explore 90% deal, you're pretty fucked since you'll most likely get 8 hunger events tops, same with complete 100% of the room battles
I'm never sure whether to do it, I just know it'll end up with someone getting crit and all that extra profit is going towards them buying the most expensive beer in the land for the next week.
One thing that kinda irks me about this game is that there's very little visual representation of progress.
No matter how many bosses you kill or runs you complete, the hamlet will still look like a depressing shithole and everywhere else will still be festering pits of corruption even if you killed all three levels of bosses
I know you need to have dungeons open to allow you to level up new heroes but it's still a bit discouraging
What is you hamlet repair priority? I prefer maxing out the carriage asap, then the sanitorium, then the upgrades, then the stress relief.
I prioritize guild and blacksmith to upgrade skills and armor. I don't want to get screwed by getting high level heroes for high level dungeons but can't get their gear to measure up.
Next is sanatorium and one stress relief building. Altering quirks and relieving stress helps in slowly creating good soldiers you want to stick with instead of dismissing.
As for spare crests(?) survivalist camp is more important that the trinket wagon but that's just my opinion.
The first thing I do is make sure there's a wide selection of heroes so I don't have to put up with a run using heroes I hate. Since it's a short while before I repair the Blacksmith or Guild, I try expand the slots for the stress relief, starting with the church thanks to Reynauld.
But I think ultimately, any discount you can get on something you use a lot like the sanitarium or upgrades is something you should unlock ASAP.
It would be nice to have the buildings in the Hamlet look a little less drab and dreary as you upgrade them. Windows being lit up more brightly in the Tavern, the crest on the front of the Guild looking more polished, the Survivalist's campfire burning more brightly. Little touches like that, and perhaps ambient noises that suggest more livelihood.
>Get a leper who can't gamble
>but that's fine because he's banned.
Are you making fun of me, game?
This is not bad idea.
Plus no replacing losses. Only minus is that you cant do a lower dungeons. So you need do some retreats and other shenanigans to do it all.
Also I dont like arbalest and jester.
Many fall in the face of bait.
But not this one.
How quickly the tide turned.
I think it wouldn't be so bad if after each room battle each character could use ONE of their combat moves each. Most parties would be able to pop off a heal or bleed/blight cure unless you sacrificed combat versaility for healing moves, but not much else.
>Still no houndmaster has shown up.
C'mon he sounds so cool and I need to try and figure out my go to team.
The point is to mitigate damage while in combat, rather than simply pummeling everything and trying to live after. you may have noticed but one of the themes of the game is if you can sustain yourself against the monsters thrown at you as your health and sanity is sapped by untold horrors.
Well, if you ever want to reel it in, have this as well.
>decide to go on my first mission to kill the necromancer apprentice
>a collector shows up and thoroughly wrecks my shit.
Hells Bells, fine. I'll come back with my Plague Doctor and just blight your shit up.
>do almost every dungeon without having many problems
>get my shit kicked in every time
>it's the only place where I lose my dungeon dwellers
>not just pulling him to 1/2 row and slashing his shit in within a few rounds
Well they didn't do a very good job, that's for sure.
it's kinda like the Hag fight, but instead of whittling down you health, it amps up your stress. It's a bit harder since I went in with Hag Fight mentality of completely ignoring the guy who gets anchored but holy shit it took me a few rounds to realize the main boss receives a protection bonus of 50% when someone gets anchored. I doubt you'll have anyone near half HP since damage isn't what this boss specializes in. Top that with the fact they regenerate a bit of health every time the anchored guy gets stressed.
Having a BH against Necro is a must as he can pull that nigga to the front so you don't have to focus on slashing millions of spooky skeletons every time to get to him, don't forget that
I just realized all of BH's skills are useable in the third rank, which means he can still do shit even when my Jester gets all "Show time!" So I think I will be adding him in.
So it's looking like Jester, Vestal, Bounty Hunter, and some kind of tank, probably a Leper, will be my go to party.
It's a masterpiece.
There's always the actual fish.
I'm at around 20weeks and I have to say that this game has a little too much shit for me to handle. That means character skills/upgrades/quirks and trinkets.
I am aware how important having a group minmaxed to win, especially hard bosses.
>can't hold onto a BH to save my life
You guys feel like this sometimes too?
the highest level BH i ever had was level 4
If everything being determined by RNGesus (which you can influence the probability of, fortunately) doesn't turn you off and you can cope with losing heroes to a string of bad luck, you'll have fun
Because of the RNG the game is full of emotional highs and lows; losing a hero that you have invested a lot into is horrible but having a hero or two defy odds and pull off miracles is intoxicating
There is skill involved; but it's more akin to skill at poker or other card games than say, chess.
>Called your bluff, friend.
Could someone help me I'm not sure about what should be my next move.
I only maxxed out stage coach by grinding the weald.
nothing else is upgraded.
I haven't done any boss yet. I have 2 lvl 3 champs a few lvl 2 and a bunch of lvl 1-0.
Any tips/advices are welcome.
pic related of the trinkets collected so far.
Man, the Hag on Veteran is pretty hard. I was doing really well so far, but had to retreat because I didn't plan well. I think I'll just go with a full damage party next time, something like A/HM/BH/H. Does the guy that's getting cooked in the pot immediately die or does he get out + gets a Death's Door debuff? I really don't want to lose anyone.
Shouldn't I upgrade the guild or armorsmithing?
I also considered continuing suicide runs to keep rolling the stagecoach till I land some champ with sweet quirks.
only have GR w/ eagle eye am saving for later atm.
there is an achievement to get the first highwayman and crusader to the end in the final game. Probably that and a lot of other achievements if you care about that sort of thing.
His efficacy unwitnessed by his own eyes.
it makes no sense. occultist does because it's inspired from various islamic civilizations, they're going for a ''learned man'' type of thing there. but the arbelast makes no sense. africans never developed such things. it should be a white man.
Prodigious size alone, does not dissuade the sharpened blade.
you act as if the game's creators are bound by historical accuracy
at the end of the day, it's their choice
There won't be any black people in Mount&Blade 2 because the creator of the game decided that in his fantasy world there won't be any blacks
There is a black person in darkest dungeon because the creators decided that in their fantasy world there will be blacks
Basically this, it's their vision and it may as well have niggers. I don't really care since Arbalest is the only blackish one and I don't even use her so no fucks given at all
>because the creators decided that in their fantasy world there will be blacks
Now explain why they decided that.
Is it because they felt it was necessary in the game world, or because they feel they have to because otherwise it won't PC?
Clearly her father was a Barbary pirate that had settled down in Europe. When his past came back to haunt him he sent his daughter away from the home with all the valuables she could carry, in the hopes that she could find a life for herself.
They probably put them in for the same reason the M&B devs only have white people.
Because they fucking feel like it.
You'd think you bitchmade faggots would have wrapped your heads around it by now.
Stop making such a big fucking deal about it, holy shit. She's black because they wanted her to be black. The reasons for this could have some agenda, but perhaps - and just hear me out on this - it's just for fucking variety in the appearances of each class.
Now stop it.
They are not, "moor" was the generic term Iberian christians used for muslims in general which where Arabs, Berbers and local (Iberian) converts. The term itself is a "clasicism", in the same way that Byzantine authors sometimes called the Seljuk turks "Persians"
It would have been pretty cool if the Arbalest was Chinese and used a chu ko nu.
Probably set in the late 1700's. Dismas's weapon is something akin to a duelist's pistol, or perhaps a later variant of such.
Wouldn't want to think about trying to reload it after every shot. Fucking making wad balls in the middle of combat.
>mfw I'm forced to have the option of putting even one nonwhite character in my team
How long must we suffer this unfair oppression?
>tfw living in eastern europe
>haven't seen a nigger in years
>it's merely a coincidence that every major entertainment product from the US contains token black characters! it was a creative choice!
Okay, whatever you say.
>tfw I read the Crusader's name as Fucboi
They all fight for a cause greater than themselves as the heralds of the lord. The crusader and vestal for obvious reasons, they are basically the militant arm of the clergy, fending off the enemy of faith. The plague doctor fights the evils of disease and saves lives with her knowledge. The leper, having lost all that he had due to him being now branded as a cursed man because of his leprosy, has nothing else to lose and will fight for those who can't.
All these characters are men and women who fight for a cause that isn't meant to bring any specific benefit to them, but rather for mankind. Their fight isn't one for glory, spoils of war, to avoid an execution or to escape a troubled past, it is a last stand against the twisted powers of evil and whether they chose it or not, they are now defending the weak and putting their own lives to risk so that hope may not die and be replaced by madness and despair.
When will we get a character that represents the slavs of eastern europe?
Where did I ever make the claim you greentexted?
All I claimed is that we don't know whether or not the arbalest was made with dark skin because of the creators artistic vision or because it was to appeal to a certain demographic.
I always thought he's more of a nordic one due to his helmet being basically pic related, and due to his talk about ancestors.
Here I am, replying.
>but she's supposed to be Celtic

Yes, you are right it does look more viking-ish that anything else
>Heh, just change her name to some slavic sounding one and you're good to go.
>name them all something Russian
>pretend the red hair is because they're an Udmurt and not Irish
>assume they lost their gun somewhere
>qt streletsy waifu
