Is regular Morty worth using? Other than him Ancient Morty and Exo Alpha Morty. I was using Scruffy Morty too but he sucks.

Hang on to the regular because he's not as vulnerable to the rock/paper/scissors types. Scruffy and Unkempt are shit.

Definitely catch other Exo-Alpha and combine for Exo-Omega. The chips are too pricy but after a while you can craft your own. Same with serums. Keep at least one of each type.

Leave it a girl and ign to not understand/enjoy comedy/videogames. That said, it could use some improvements: like a bigger belt, the ability to return to the hub, and lower prices in the store. Variation in moves/types/animations would help. Maybe more of a narrative (not that Pokemon games exactly have one).

I think the problem with their score is that they judged a mobile game against the handheld game that inspired it. Might even be muddled by a bias of being a Pokemon fan over Rick & Morty.

This. It could kind of break the game though, because with a good enough belt you can swing on all the trainers and the leader, but sometimes you spawn right near the leader and get to skip them. Maybe specific worlds should have a return pad? It sucks when you die in one and miss out on Mortys and items that you couldn't reach.

I suppose a good learnset can save it, but its stats sure seem lacklustre thus far. Sure, stat seeds can make it a monster, but they work for anything, I just shove them in to OG Morty. My Exo Prime is leader of the pack with its 75 damage scissor attack and 100(!) damage neutral. Two Cat's Scratching Post is great too as a 95 scissor move, but it doesn't have /any/ neutral ones.

AFAIK the moves are the same and I assume Base stats, but like Pokemon they have IVs of sorts. I caught two Business Mortys thinking I could combine them, lvl 11 and 12, the 11 actually has more atk but it's other stats are way lower.

Fuck me grinding egg Morty is suffering, the fact that xp is lowered drastically if the Morty that finishes the opponent is a higher level, and the egg only gets 25% for participating, it's a huge drag unless you happen across something you can beat that's way higher a level. I have three seeds I'm saving but I've still got four more levels to grind ;_;

I didnt pay a cent. I speed run pokemon for fun, and seeing how this game is a more basic/wateresdown/whatever version, it was simple. I battled everyone on a map as my grinding and got enough material early on to make the morty chips fast. Then I started going around and collecting them, evolving them. I finished the game in, like, 14 hours.

Anywhere I could find stats and movesets for each morty type?

I keep ending up with maxed evolutions of subpar mortys.

The best way to do it is really just to grind. There isn't any punishment for dying. So just go into a world, collect all the items laying around, beat/catch the individual mortys (they drop items), then beat the trainers (they drop money) until you die. This way you can grind money and items which will get you more chips for more mortys.

Protip on egg leveling - versus the final Morty in a council Rick fight, switch to the egg and use a Meeseek's Box so the egg gets loads of xp.

The call log thing is pretty unfortunate. The reason so many games ask for it is because the game needs to know when a call is incoming so it can pause the game. Unfortunately for this to happen it needs access to the entire phone application. Its really more of Google's fault than anything. A simple solution would be a separate application that only tracks incoming/outgoing calls but it would look the same to the average customer (OMG ITS SPYING ON MY CALLS!) so I guess they haven't bothered.
