I know its a youtube screencap, but cmon. This looks worse than crysis 2.
>yfw Ubisoft will get away with it once again
>le ubisoft boogeyman
Literally every game gets downgraded at some point.
And I'm not defending ubisoft.
How about waiting for the proper screenshots when the game is released instead of this pointless shit talk? holy shit.
>Literally every game gets downgraded at some point.
>Ubisoft will never make another good game again
i remember ubisoft games being some of the most fun games on the original xbox with xbox live. Splinter Cell and Ghost Recon were rad.
Too bad they can't patch the disappointing core combat and story.
Still pretty though. Surprising after the shit they pulled in Watch Doge
I heard about it. It's for the PC, but it doesn't help the fact that the E3 footage stuck with the audience enough to disappoint both the console players and the PC players prior to finding the E3 fix. That fix just added fuel to the fire after it was found
I know the one on the bottom looks like shit but did you expect the actual gameplay to look like the one on top?
How old are you?
Did you also expect Winning Eleven to actually look like this?
it looks good on PC. We're on embargo for talking about the PC version because it blows the console versions the fuck out, and microsoft is paying TOP dollar to ubisoft to shill the xbox one version as much as possible, but even at the event the developers were saying "off the record" that the PS4 version is the definitive console version and PC is miles ahead of both. In a few days tho you'll start to see PC stuff. The xbox one version drops to what I'm guessing is around 20fps a lot of times, has some nasty load times and problem with proximity chat (as in not working at all, but working flawlessly on PS4 and PC). If you guys got any question I'll be happy to answer.
I feel like the only justification for the removal of all the trash from streets would be that as the amount of time you play the game adds on, trash starts to collect to show the city aging during it's downfall. of course knowing jewbsoft...
yeah it's not like the E3 trailer, I honestly don't know what version of the game that was since the developers didn't answer any of those questions. I still thought it looked nice tho, especially the weather effects. And 60+ fps is way better as well.
>looks incredibly repetitive cover shooting + shallow loot system tripe
>the guy keeps comparing it to Destiny and praising Destiny as some amazing game
Well that shit preview didn't do the game any favors.
Ubisoft seems to copy and paste Assassins's Creed II's design of climb towers and fill the world with chests with money into Far Cry and then Watch Dogs.
They're living off the design that Patrice Desilets, who created AC and also made ACII to this day.
>Ubisoft apologists breathe the same air you do
I'm enjoying R6: Siege. I don't know how it happened but the game is a lot of fun.
Ghost Recon never really survived after the original. I really want to play coop with /v/ again.
Blacklist was well made but stomped all over what made SC good to make something different. Considerate Ironside being replaced with some unsympathetic Hollywood badass character still hurts
Does anyone have that comic about FPS vs TPS level design, where entire TPS side is chest high cover?
Putting that ubi is a shit company aside, what if i say it is the
Which it clearly is, most games that were graphically nerfed are from around the time there wasn't much information about the consoles, in fact the e3 console demos were running on pcs...
They are clearly holding the industry back
>Kept comparing it to destiny
>Made a huge point about the loot system and how everything gets more better as you go
I literally stopped watching when he started going over the loot colors.
This ain't my game. All interest lost.
Wait, are you telling me Ubisoft would downgrade graphics from E3?
Are you sure? That doesn't seem like something ubisoft would do.
If you haven't detected the sarcasm yet kill yourself.
But in all honesty, I've been following funhaus for long enough to generally be comfortable with saying since they enjoyed it I'll probably get it.
That being said, the graphics really did take a big hit, I wish Ubisoft would cut that bullshit presentation shit out, its like every god damn title now. Just because everyone expected it, doesn't make it okay.
>'we are DIVERSITY studio'
>New York setting
Either way, I don't give a shit about graphics, I would play the shit out of it if only it wasn't so fucking shit to play.
>playing on the xbone
>thinking it would look good
do you even game bro?
Same thing happened with watchdogs.
Look great before the real life heap of steaming shit they crammed onto a disc and fed us at release. I torrented that shit and it still looked like a downgraded saints row.
Devs these days will not be able to release photorealism on current hardware.
The gun customization in this game is nuts.
Killing people and taking their shit owns too, but these two reasons aren't enough to buy the game.
But for a third person junkie (retard) like me, it's pretty close, proximity chat is apparently getting added too.
>when you are so dumb you forget to include the picture
The problem with some loot games is that they don't have a lot of variety in the itemization. I remember in the first Borderlands, some guns were nearly identical, and one weapon has 5 shots while the other has 7. Diablo 2 LOD had so much shit, so much shit that you could always gain something interesting.
The loot of The Division makes me think this game will have an assault rifle that has 0.1s faster fire rate and 45 bullets in the magazine instead of 40 from your previous weapon. This shit will get stale fast.
Stuff like Graphics downgrade and stuff is fairly obvious, but that, I'm gonna reserve judgement for post-launch, because this is just speculation, we've no idea if there are other areas, if that's everything being shown or just one zone with a couple sub-zones etc...
Could be better, could be worse, but either way a screenshot of a map that popped up for a few seconds doesn't mean shit.
>Saw the trailer 2 years ago.
>ERMAHGERD LOOKS AWESOME
>released in xxxx (far away)
>didnt pay any attention to it anymore
I noticed it last week on steam, does anyone have a vid or whatever explaining what the game is and what you gotta do?
Funhaus played the division? What the fuuuuuck time to find that video thanks homie
>also Idgaf what you say it looks fucking amazing gameplay-wise and I hope graphics will be good on PC but prolly not but IDGAF TWO WEEKS TIL BETA MUHFUGGA
>getting baited/salty this hard by one word
2016 map can easily fit twelve to twenty times over inside the world map of Xenoblade Cross, and that's just the horizontal, end to end. With the vertical factored in, that would mean The Division's new 2016 world map is about 1/30th to 1/40th.
