I GOT THE LAST ONE FROM GAMESTOP WITHIN A 50 MILE RADIUS OF ME
I CAN'T BELIEVE IT
I honestly don't understand the reasoning behind these controllers, since one, the design is worse than the 360 one, and to use it reliably on a PC you need to plug it in anyways. Is it just because it's the newer version of something from 10 years ago? That's nigger logic, the 360 controller is great and still works fantastically.
>I purchased an overpriced controller from a company that swindles kids
My local stores never carry anything pricey on display. You have to ask over the counter when people have cleared out.
wasting money on useless shit only makes you poorer than me
that said, I'd like one, they look pretty neat, but fuck buying one here in australia, the exchange rate makes it totally pointless.
Gee you got an overpriced controller for a bad console. Congrats.
>One-hundred-and-fifty fucking American dollars
>Swappable sticks might not fell very solid
>Still uses AAs
>Very nice to hold. Heavy and solid.
>Triggers can be set to stop halfway for FPSes
>Paddles on the back that can be set to other buttons.
>Swappable joysticks (normal, tall, or convex) and D pad (standard plus or disco ball that's apparently good for fighting games.)
>Standard 3.5mm jack for headset
Will they ever merge the elite with the lunar white to make the sexiest controller known to man?
>have wheel for racing games
>have fightstick for Fightan
>have hotas for spess and flight games
At least I'm not stupid enough to get Xbone Elite pad.
Time to step up your game even more, OP
>I GOT THE LAST ONE FROM GAMESTOP WITHIN A 50 MILE RADIUS OF ME
More like they only stocked one within a 50 mile radius and nobody would buy it because it's a $150 controller. That's a absurdly expensive price for a controller. You're the only one dumb enough to buy one.
early access vidya ship or Elite controller /v/?
>spending 150 for a shitty controller
AHHH HEEE AHHH HEEE AHHH HEEE!
>having a job means i want to pay exorbanant amounts of money for stupid garbage
GG nigger rapper
i bet you encrust your teeth in diamonds just because you can afford it
hold up, it costs $150 dollarydoos and still requires fucking batteries...
Why ppl are getting this instead of the steam controller? specially with the positive reception its getting and particularly good ones about the gyro sensor and keyboard mapping
What does it do besides the d-pad thing?
I was gonna make jokes about how I could get a decent joystick for that price instead; but then I looked up my dream stick again and realized how much more I need to save.
It's 400 for the curious.
My Saitek is serving me well though.
No wireless adapter but it's 100% worth it, easily the nicest controller for pc and couch big picture gaming
>No pressure sensitive buttons aside from triggers and d-pad
>Can't play games on PC that require pressure sensitive buttons like MGS2 and 3
>Garbage d-pad even with pressure sensitivity
>Worse ergonomics than DualShock 4
>Xinput only, need to download and setup third party software for DirectInput only games
lotta fuckin' money
and that doesn't account for the retaliator i got for my husband
but i've got a jolly fuck of a machine to run it one day with, along with some very, very nice peripherals.
I primarily game on PC and own 2 Logitech controllers, a PS4 and and Xbone because I have money and no life.
The Xbone controllers are hands down the best controllers I have ever had. They feel incredibly comfortable and precise, to the point where I now just plug them in instead of using my Logitech F710s on PC. I switch to mouse/keyboard depending on the game and if I have company.
TLDR I am a very picky controller guy and love the Xbone default controllers so much I am going to try this one.
>can't play games on pc that require pressure sensitive buttons like MGS2 and 3
Damn looks like they really missed out on a huge market there
>doesn't have a rechargable battery pack
>b...b...b...ut it costs extra!
>Rechargeable AA batteries are dirt cheap as fuck
>Gives you the option of using either
>BUT LOL AA BATTERIES SO PLEB XD I MEAN IT'S SO WIDELY AVAILABLE AND EASY TO ACQUIRE MUST BE SOMETHING WRONG WITH IT LOL
not him but
>forcing me to buy additional equipment or an endless stream of batteries is microsoft giving me freedom of choice in how i game!
you're a fucking halfwit, cunt. give us a charge cable like literally every other consumer electronics device on the market. every single one.
Literally what's wrong with a controller that doesn't run on a kike battery pack that's designed to jew you instead of AA batteries that you can literally get everywhere in the world.
The battery packs on controllers die every 2 years. Every other console manufacturer literally forces you to get a new controller because the batteries are not user replacable.
>Inb4 sonygger chimes in about how his are fine because he's literally touched his controller once in the past 2 years
I play USF4 with 360 pad and it's my preferred controller of choice.
Anybody wanna play?
>Buy PS4 controller, don't like the drivers
>Trade for 1st gen Xbone controller, don't like it's bumpers
>Return xbone and buy a logitech, hate it but wait too long to return it
>Sell logitech, buy mayflash adapter and a Wii U pro controller, don't like the gloss
>Buy another Xbone controller because nobody had ever mentioned the shitty bumpers or loose sticks
>Return it and buy another PS4 controller because maybe the drivers are better
>Return it and buy a 360 controller
>Don't like the 360 dpad, buy one of those switching dpads from ebay
>Tear apart controller and put in the dpad, it's garbage
>Buy Covert Forces xbone for the fixed bumpers
>Dpad is defective, return it
>Buy used PS4 controller because everyone says it's great and clearly I'm the wrong one
>Trade it in during the $30 promotion for a Lunar White Xbone
>Buy Steam controller, it's good but shit for anything that needs a dpad
>Buy wireless adapter for Xbone
>Almost decided to sell it because now I have 3 controllers and I mostly use the steam controller
Is this what autism feels like
I don't like it
AA batteries come with the controller though anon.
And which 3rd world shithole household do you live in that doesn't actually already have rechargeable AA batteries?
why would a household have rechargeable batteries. i live in sydney, australia, 30 years old, and i have never, ever bought a rechargeable battery pack.
it's never even crossed my mind.
>My house doesn't have batteries!
>I'm so stuck in vendor lock in that I buy jew approved battery packs that are not user replaceable so I just buy an entirely new thing instead!
wake up sheeple.
>rechargeable battery pack
Rechargeable AA batteries you stupid fuck.
>Everything plugs in Nowadays
>I have no clocks in my house
>I have no remote controls for my TV
>I have no dragon dildo vibrators
>I have no original Gameboys
>I have no Sega Gamegears
>Bi-Directional Ethernet Communication and Audio Return Channel Enabled
um. don't you have to put rechargeable aa batteries into a device to recharge them? they don't just recharge by themselves do they? pretty sure they don't.
third time now: half wit.
Welcome to the ranks of the richfag. Hope you enjoy your stay within the true Elite of the gaming world.
Don't let these jelly poorfags get you down about your purchase. It is the GOAT controller and the best gaming accessory money can buy.
>the state of the 360 d-pad
>the state of the 360 analog stick
buy a stick you cheap nignog
>lol you're so poor
If costs wasn't an issue why don't you buy the Official Microsoft Charge and Play Pack.
Or whatever nigger 3rd party nigger battery pack.
Or you know get $5 worth of AA batteries from ebay and have enough batteries to last the lifetime of your controller.
>he didn't buy that bundle that came with a hybrid drive
I actually prefer 360 pad. Because pic related
>paying $150 for a controller that's worthless for emulation
