Vestal means literally "Priestess", Plague Doctor is something like "Plague Researcher" with female sufix. I was really afraid about that one, they pulled it off perfectly. Grave Robber, also awesome, it means "Cemetery Hyena", something we use to descibe a person who steals decorations from the graves to sell them again. Abomination is weird, it means "Disgust", I guess it's okay'ish.

Use a crusader and give him the healing flag and the destressing flag. The crusader's healing flag can't reach the 4th rank, but the destressing flag can, and heals a little bit of HP in addition to stress.

Bounty Hunter, Crusader, Occultist and Leper are 100% accurate translations.

Highwayman means "Hood/Hoodlum", Hellion is an "Adventurer/Troublemaker" a word we use for DnD mercenaries mostly. Jester is self-explanatory, Arbalest in polish means "Crossbow-Woman" ( how accurate, 78 DMG CRIT kind of accurate ), Man-at-arms is a "Weapon Master" and Houndmaster is a "Master of the Hunt" in a single, short polish word.

I love it, nice and simple. Maybe I'll give this version a try.

Well, since your strategy would mean you don't have anything to recoup losses then aim for not getting those losses from the start.
Speed is a factor, of course. If not spend camping points on increasing Surprise and keep sunlight up.
Plague Doctors and Barbarians with their stuns are important so pack stun trinkets, and the rest of the party should focus targets one by one.
Champion level enemies are harder to deal with, so your resources should be saved for dealing with them. Dodge, prot, debuff, DoTs or just plain damage should be focused on the the dungeon's big enemy.

He's only tough if he has time to set up his summons. I got him once as a first fight in a dungeon and my Vestal stunned him before he could go on the first round. My guys beat the piss out of him and by the time he got to summon in round 2, he was already missing 2/3rds of his health. I finished him off and cleaned up the heads he'd summoned easily (It was 2 MAA heads and one HWM head, which I killed before it could act).

About 80% of my runs don't have a healer. I usually fare better without one for another damage dealer or buffer.

Okay guys i bought the game about a week ago when i heard it was getting released finally. Loving it so far but i feel like i'm only using half the roster and i'm getting bored of the same Crusader, Vestal, Hellion crew i run for basically everything.

Explain to me the situational strengths and positive aspects of these classes i never use.

MaA is the tank of the game, thanks to having a dedicated Guard ability. What MaA has over the Cru/Leper is control, with a great stun, a knockback, the ability to take hits for allies, and amazing buffs / debuffs. Retribution is the cherry on top.

Simply put, don't use him for damage, use him to control enemies by shuffling and debuffing them, while guarding your allies.

Darkest Dungeon doesn't need it's own general

we need a general for indie games with bullshit RNG mechanics. Towerclimb, Nuclear Throne, and darkest dungeon can all ROT there.

4x Grave Robber is the way to go.

If you have Junia's head and a Chirurgeon's charm that should buff your heal by 50%, which should guarantee at least a 1 every time. (Unsure at this really, haven't tested thoroughly to check)
But you shouldn't be relying on his heals in the first place. Practice prevention, use weakening curse on the most damaging enemy or contribute to the damage to kill. Healing should just be an opportunity to get back to beyond a comfortable level.

play him the same way you would any front liner except now you can hit the 3rd row FROM the 3rd row and you out DPS everyone by a fuckton. if you can handle the stress you should defiantly pick abom up. in human form you are just absolving for free HP/stress heals or stunning with his massive damage stun

no, if you need a dedicated healer for your party comp / play style then you are going to want a vestal over occult

cant recall the name but you cant miss it man its just a PD only vial that buffs everything she does by crazy amounts, also never use her bleed attack m8 use her small heal or dps buff

That will keep happening, because the mainstream games have completely fucked everything up and I noticed this after playing Skyrim. Skyrim fucking feeds you everything. Everything is lienar and you don't notice until you go to a non-linear game.

FAQ's and Wiki's have also made eveything available to you in a click, meaning you just don't accept to lose now. Most problem can be solved by running away, but we, as gamers, have been getting fed with the "You always win" shit.

I shouldn't have played Skyrim.
