So shitposting aside i think we can all agree that Fallout 4 is a disappointing 7/10. Now, considering past Bethesda published games, what would be essential features from those works that should have been included in game.
From New Vegas:
From Fallout 3:
I don't think you understand what a base 10 scale is.
7/10 is a good score. You would give it to a good game.
5/10 is an average score. You would give it to a game that does nothing unique and does not stand out or is not particularly fun.
3/10 is a bad score. You would give it to a bad game, such as Fallout 4.
No need to thank me. I know that rating things out of 10 can be a complicated process, but you'll get it with practice.
They should have hired someone that wasn't an incompetent fuckface.
Pic related, just look at that punchable face.
Since this whole thread is now shitposting, might as well bump.

I'd say somewhere between 5 - 7 out of 10 is about accurate depending on how much you liked the game. Personally, I think even a score of 6/10 is a bit high. It improved on some aspects of FO3, but also went backwards in some of them. It had a lot of interesting ideas but they were all poorly implemented and the story was about as immersive as the original double dragon's storyline.
As for what they should have added or changed, I think one big one would have been how melee combat works. Its oddly a step back from even Skyrim, which wasn't even that good combat wise. Better combat overall would have been appreciated.
I dunno OP, lots of people love Fallout 4 and for them, it's a 9/10 game.
I feel that. The unarmed was really not as good as i thought it was going to be. Which sucks because the shooting was SO good.
I mean i did enjoy Fallout 4 for awhile. Not saying it's bad but it was disappointing.
It was pretty fucking terrible honestly. Your choices for Unarmed were either Drugging up to an absurd degree to even have a chance fighting normally, Go slow and Stealthy, or just fucking cheese it with VATS blitz and crits.
They really fucked up bad making block something anyone could do regardless of what you're attacking with.
I don't think that a guy like this should be the vice president of a company that makes rpg games.
>4/10 at most
I said disappointing, not almost unplayable and awful. I know i'm weird saying 7/10 is somehow bad but 4/10? Come on
4/10 would just be below average, which I can understand some people saying. Below being that the negative things the game has outweigh or outnumber the positives.
Still can be perfectly playable, just not very good.
Expectation of maybe you.
Of a Fallout game, i can see a 6.
As a game in general, you're fucking stupid.
But it's clearly not below average as a game. I don't understand the disconnect in this thread. I want possible improvemnt that should have been included in the game, not fanboy wank reviews of a game that tarnish what it means to call a game a 4 or 3/10
You can see how that's not a valid criteria for any game right? Some people believe this is the best Fallout yet so what do you say that or do you just brush it off as troll posting? Fuck off
I can kind of see it, but its down to personal preference really. It comes down to does the game do enough to counter the bad? And to some people, that answer will be no.
I mean if you really think about it, there is a LOT of shit bad with the game. From the half assed implementation of the settlement system all the way down to the shitty story, factions and dialog options.
Theres a good bit people could take issue with. That said, I think 4/10 is probably the lowest reasonable score I think someone could give, but at the end of the day its down to personal preference when it comes down to a point or two.
there are plenty of other games released in 2015 that have much better gameplay and everything else.
Everyone wanted Fallout 4 to improve and it didn't. It remains on the same level as Skyrim, a game released 4 years ago.
There is no excuse and no reason to continue to defend their shoddy work at this heap of trash.
